    Commercials

No election here, so we already have the Christmas commercials. This one's for catalog merchant Argos, and features a beatboxing Bing Crosby - I kid you not . Argos Advert 'Crooner' - Bing Crosby, White Christmas There's also a 'making of' video as well.

    Commercials

A new 3 minute commercial has just aired over here. It's for mobile phone company T-Mobile, and features passengers being welcomed back to Terminal 5 at London's Heathrow Airport by a load of a capella singers. Songs include: Mel Tormé - Comin' Home Baby Mark Morrison - Return of the Mack Iggy Pop - The Passenger Thin Lizzy - Boys are Back In Town Kaiser Chiefs - Oh My God Aretha Franklin with George Michael - I Knew You Were Waiting (for me) Peters And Lee - Welcome Home
  4. Well waikiki, you were on the money there - geddit - on the money - please yourselves. That means Roger was right to agree with you too. Q. In 'The Meeting', what refreshments does Boss send over to the jail?.
  5. Yep - I'm actually here, and not asleep :).

    One Word Song Titles

Kanye West - Stronger This song samples Harder Better Faster Stronger by Daft Punk (as used in the infamous Daft Hands video) which, in turn, samples Cola Bottle Baby by Edwin Birdsong.
  7. Lost Weekend - Lloyd Cole and the Commotions I've made a place for all your One Word Song Titles, so no need to use them here anymore .
  8. I'm not claiming this as my own, I found it somewhere on the internet. This guy has an interesting way to carve his pumpkins: I'd like to see Bo and Luke try that with bows and arrows .
  9. I haven't seen the film, but IMDb confirms Denver played Thimblerig (the Gambler) in 'The Alamo': http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053580/ I'll have to keep an eye out for it on TV.
  10. One word song titles seem to be unpopular in the Musical Chairs thread due to the way they limit the options. There are many great songs out there with only one word in their title (several came up on my MP3 player on my way home tonight), and quite a few of these are never likely to come up in Musical Chairs, so I thought I'd start this thread to collect some of these songs. Very simple rules: One words song titles only - there doesn't have to be any connection between posts. Limit yourself to one song per post. Include a link to the song if you can - not essential, but it's interesting to hear other peoples' taste in music. Feel free to include any comments or trivia about the songs and/or artists. I'll start with a song that needs no introduction:
  11. Safety Dance - Men Without Hats (Very odd medieval video for those who follow the links)
  12. Dance This Mess Around - B-52's
  13. GLG was closest there (2 years closer than Roger) - it was the hog cholera epidemic of '43. On to season 2 ... Q. In 'Gold Fever', how many bars of gold did H. H. Harkness say he had, and how much were they worth?
  14. Nice pictures, thanks. Is 'Black Beauty' from the '60s TV show or next year's movie?. I hope WBGL manages to log in soon. Keep up the picture posting.
  15. (Nearly went for 'Alone' by Heart just to annoy Garrett with a one word title )
  16. Maybe I didn't put it well originally. I'm basically agreeing with you Garrett, a tap for a tap is ok, but Jeff Gordon seemed to receive quite a long push from Kurt. I probably won't get to see it 'til Wednesday, but I'll be watching.
