  2. If I'm watching a whole episode I sit back and watch it on the TV, but if I want a screengrab I skip through it on the computer until I find the right frame (mostly with subtitles off, but I thought I'd include them for this one).
  3. This was bugging me because I remembered the scene, but it took nearly 24 hours to remember where from. You threw me by saying Atlanta because they only actually went to Atlanta in 'Daisy's Song' (season 1), although they re-used the footage of the General on the freeway heading to Atlanta in 'Along Came a Duke' (season 3), and said they were going there a couple of other times. The scene you're talking about is in 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' (season 7). Bo and Luke return to the department store in Capitol City that gave Daisy the millionth customer prize, only to find out they know nothing about it.

  5. I'd forgotten about the Barenaked Ladies' video. It not only features General Lee, but also the Starsky and Hutch Gran Torino - just like 'One Armed Bandits' all over again . Having said that, there's no flag on the General's roof and it's a '68 not a '69. Weird Al's parody of this song was Jerry Springer, which by a strange coincidence has just come on TV while I'm writing this. I also posted 'Jerry Springer' as a reply in the 'Word Association' thread earlier today - there's just no escaping the man. At least I have a remote to look for something better to watch - I think there's a Dukes DVD in the player .
  6. All of you were right . As Daney said, Jo Ann Pflug played Helen Hogan on the 'Route 7-11'. She was Lt. 'Dish' in MASH, and Samantha 'Big Jack' Jack in 'The Fall Guy'. According to her bio on IMDb she was born in Atlanta, GA and now tours with her own motivational seminars. I've always thought it would be a silent 'P' - 'flug' (pronounced floog') is the German word for a flight. This is a guess, so if anyone has the right answer, please let us know. In the meantime, here's a picture (new question below): Q. Which guest actor from season 2 of Dukes is the father of one of the lead actors in the TV series of MASH, appearing twice in that series?.

    Daisy's Jeep

I finally got 'round to watching 'Arrest Jesse Duke' again, and MaryAnne and Roger were right about the doors. It also means I was wrong about 'The Runaway' being the only episode with the Golden Eagle decals on the hood, they're here too (the Jeep logos haven't been covered up yet either). Initially I didn't watch this episode when I was answering BoJames's question because it's 2 episodes before Daisy was given the Jeep - I guess it balances out the Road Runner appearing a couple of episodes after it was destroyed .
  8. Thanks for giving me a good laugh this morning with your blatant cheating in 'Dukes Game II'. Sadly Mufn spotted it.

  9. I'm watching that one now, and when Cooter first goes into the auto parts store Waylon says: "Look at who's selling parts instead of staying home, making babies and biscuits." I had to laugh because I was imagining the reaction that would get today.
  10. Welcome to HazzardNet :).

  11. fire hydrant (Rosco never did catch Bo and Luke with it )
  12. Jerry Springer Former mayor of Cincinnati (spelling of which I had to look up ).
  13. We Have All the Time in the World - Louis Armstrong Written by John Barry and Hal David, this song will always remind me of the sad ending to the James Bond movie 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' and the beautiful Diana Rigg - still brings a tear to my eye .

Bonjour à nouveau. "Hazzard Homecoming" est le 13 et 14 août en 2011. Je ne sais pas grand-chose, mais vous pouvez en lire plus ici (aller les derniers messages):

  16. I'm sure you'll find a more comprehensive answer if you look through the archives, but basically John and Tom criticised the quality of the scripts and accused Warner Bros of cheating them out of royalties, so they walked off. According to Tom: "We decided they couldn't get along without us, and they said 'yes, we can', and away they went, to all of our detriments". That's why you don't see Bo and Luke leave. Coy and Vance were brought in to fill the gap and act "just like" Bo and Luke. Things got sorted before the end of season 5, Bo and Luke returned and off went Coy and Vance, never to be seen again.
  17. Great to have you aboard Charger. I hope you enjoy your stay.

  19. It was strange how the truck popped up again so soon. In 'Deputy Dukes' it just had a hay bale in the back rather than a load of garbage. Also some of the gray paint on the doors had worn off. I found two internet sites that named it as a '46. From what I've read the '41 was the first year of this style and had a few unique features. Some changes were made for the '42, then very few civilian models were sold between '43 and '45 due to WWII. During this time the chrome parts were just painted over. Normal service resumed in '46.
  20. flake (You can't have an ice cream without a Cadbury's Flake - you guys don't know what you're missing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/99_Flake)
  21. cake (I think we've been here before, but I know Roger likes his food ).
  22. Well done Daney, only you playing this one. Hal Williams played Jonas Jones in 'Cooter's Confession' and Officer 'Smitty' Smith in 'Sanford and Son' (a US remake of the classic British comedy ). I think '227' was another series that was not shown over here, but thanks for the connection (I'm sure you meant 'Opening Night At The Boar's Nest' ).Q. Can you name the guest actress from season 1 of Dukes who gave Colt Seavers his bounty hunting work in season 1 of 'The Fall Guy'?. To keep up the MASH connections, she also appeared as a nurse in the 1970 movie.
  23. French and Saunders did of this video.
