Like I said, I am hoping this becomes busier than the Boar's Nest. I am and will always be a huge Dukes fan. Just hoping maybe more people will start coming in to enjoy themselves here. Brian - Can I make a suggestion? .....you can PM me or I can post it on here..nothing bad at all... Darrell

It's too good of a handle to be forgotten." thanks Brian. ..He was an old school wrestler, always kept up that it is not fake. A larger than life character and always great for a story. Legend has it he told promoters when he was younger he played football for West Texas St. and convinced probably most everyone he did, even got invited to alumni games and such. Problem was , he never went to college. He could talk up something with the best of em'. Always kept it "real" , none of this behind the scenes stuff today, if you know what I mean.... Darrell

Shoot I want this place to as busy as the Boar's Nest on a Saturday Nite. I know I will be here a lot......might even have to tell to go home once in awhile.... Darrell

Hey Y'all Just want to say hi to everyone and hope to make some friends on here. I started watching the Dukes when it came out and was sad when it ended. There will never be another show like DOH again. I love this site, seems like the best one other than Ben Jones. Does anyone know of others? with a forum or message board? Alot of them seem not to be updated in a long time. Does anyone belong to any of the Yahoo groups? I belong to few, but nobody seems to post anything new ... I am hoping to make this a regular visit and talk about The DOH as oftern as anyone can. Long Live The Dukes.. Darrell

Traveler I was thinking the same exact thing, actually me and my wife were discussing this at supper the other day. I can't believe someone thought the same thing about the what should be in the movie...I think the movie could be better if it wasn't just some dumb comedy.... Darrell

But it is the only book on the series. I have had the book for a few years now and I still find myself reading it over and over. I wish they could update it when and if the movie comes out , they did that for the Beverly Hillbillies - had a good book , like the Dukes ,on the series and updated it to include the movie. Maybe someone will put out a Dukes trivia book someday..... Darrell

Hey Brian Did you ever watch wrestling? The old Georgia Championship Wrestling/NWA/WCW that was on WTBS? There was a wrestler named Dick Murdoch -Capt Redneck Dick Murdoch. He was one of my favorites, he past away in 97 . I always loved the name. Sorry to get off topic on this. Darrell

I have been seeing the Redneck Woman video on CMT for a while now and after watching the Dukes DVD's , I still say she might make the perfect Daisy. I just can't picture Jessica Simpson as Daisy. I don't know, but we all have to see how well the whole cast has chemistry together.

I have an idea of who should be Daisy..Now don't trash me on this... Gretchen Wilson - the woman who sings Redneck Woman..I know she is not an actress, but look at her and listen to her music.. Listen or read any interviews with her and then you might see what I mean. She has the attitude and the looks .

Hi Y'all...First post on here.. Just thinking what the soundtrack might be like and who can even come come close to redoing Good Ol' Boys.. My thinking is that it might more of a country soundtrack with maybe a southern rock song thrown in.. Any ideas??
