The pursuit pack has all three Smokey & The Bandit movies. Doesn't that stink that when it is shown on regular TV it gets added scenes because they edit it for content. They did that with Fast Times At Ridgemont High, had different scenes added for broadcast TV because of the ones they edited for TV...Go figure...... Darrell

I will second that...... Just a tragedy that happened in the world of music. Doesn't matter who you are or what kind of music you play, the music touches people in different ways. Darrell

Have to agree wit hya on that about Steve Earle. I think his political stance has gotten in the way the media makes him out now. He has made some amazing albums since his jail time , The Mountain with the Del McCoury Band and Train A Comin'- the acoutsic one really really good. But nothing beats Guitar Town and Copperhead Road.. Darrell

That would be great if Steve Earle would rework the lyrics for the Dukes movie. I love that song. But the last verse would definately not fit the Dukes Of Hazzard..... Darrell

Lisa which version of the DVD has the TV scenes? The pursuit pack with 1,2,& 3 or the single mvie version? I bouth the single disc and right after that they came out with the Pursuit Pack...That bugged me a lot , same price as the single disc.. Isn't Smokey just a fun movie to watch. Hey Y'all ......I started a thread about my choice for Daisy a few months ago and Gretchen Wilson it. .....That was my first and only choice for Daisy...Go back and read some of my reasons why, but here is one - Jessica doesn't have that downhome charm or just natural beauty, in my opinion. There was something I can't explain, something like smarts, personality , charm, that Catherine Bach had to be Daisy and I still feel that Gretchen Wilson reminds me a whole lot of that when I see her on TV... Alright everyone, didn't think I would let someone else start a Burt Reynolds movie topic and not begin with Smokey And The Bandit. This is one of the best Good Ol' Boy car chase / trucker movies that they have ever made. Great cast that worked so great together. Jerry Reed was awesome . Jackie Gleason was the picture of the perfect Texas lawman. Come on now let's here some GOOD things to say about my favorite movie. Darrell

I read that too and was disappointed. I thought Dolly would have been great in the movie. I know some of y'all don't like Dolly Parton, but if she is in a smaller role and not a major part I think it would have worked out fine for the movie.... Darrell
