  1. Khee! I knew that one, especially since it involved Rosco. It helped that that particular episode just aired on CMT. LOL. Hey, this is my 700th post! Woo hoo!
  2. It's true that ice cream scoops were also called "dippers", but as far as I can tell, the shape wouldn't hold water well enough, nor were they big enough for a minnow to swim in it. I think my explanation was a little more on target.
  3. Yup, you'll find a lot of likeminded folks here who love the Dukes. In some ways, it's more than a TV show. It's a way of life, in that the show was good clean fun, often with a moral or good piece of wisdom from Uncle Jesse thrown in. Khee!
  4. Howdy! And welcome to HazzardNet. As Roger says, we really are like one big family here and we're always glad to add a new member. Again, welcome aboard!
  5. Thanks to RogerDuke for this suggestion. This is the place to post trivia questions for others to guess. Or if you have a question about one of the episodes and can't find the answer, post it here and maybe someone will answer it for you!
  6. Green Eggs and Ham
  7. Harry Carey
  8. tarts Hehehe...
  9. strawberry jam
  10. deadwood
  11. The Daddy. LOL.
  12. If I recall, it's about a woman who commits adultery and as punishment has to wear a scarlet colored "A" (for "A"dultery) on her clothes and thus becomes a social pariah. She attempts to redeem herself. And that's about all I can recall... read it probably 18-19 years ago.
  13. George of the Jungle (Watch out for that tree! LOL.)
  14. Folks, try to cut down on the repetition a bit. LOL. We're not that far into this and already we have two Hazzard ponds and two Luke Dukes! I'm gonna rock the boat on this one and go in a little different direction. LOL. Handcuffs!
  15. plaid flannel
  16. tow truck
  17. car wash
  18. Ok, to liven up the forums, I'm gonna start a word association game. I'll post a word, then someone else posts a word that is related to that word or another word they think of. Keep it clean, folks! LOL. So let's begin... puppy
  19. Ok, I promised it in the Appomattox Challenge and here it is! The dog collar challenge... I'm gonna give y'all a few options on this one 1) Write a story in the perspective of Flash (or any other random Hazzard mutt). 2) Write a story in which a dog collar is prominently featured. or for the more adventurous of you... 3) Write a story in which one of the characters ends up wearing a dog collar. (Keep the stories PG-13, please! Of course, you could always send the moderators "alternate" versions that won't be posted. *ahem* ) Y'all have til June 30th. Sadie needs a new collar. And if y'all don't pitch in to help her out with a story or twelve, she's just gonna have to do without. And that will make her a sad puppy. Y'all don't wanna have a sad puppy on yer consciences now, do ya? Didn't think so. So, get writin'!!

    FanForums.tv

Hi all, I'm working on a new online community for tv fans. It will have forums for tons of great tv shows and actors/actresses. There won't be a Dukes forum, just a link that forwards to HazzardNet. In fact, this new site will kind of be an extension of our HNet community, just more for tv in general. If your favorite show or actor isn't listed there, feel free to post a suggestion in the Suggestion Forum on the site. The forums are at: http://www.fanforums.tv/forums/ The site isn't finished yet, but is taking shape and should be done soon. Thanks for visiting!
  21. HNet already has a puppy! Her name is Sadie. She's half beagle, so I'm sure she'd get along with fellow hound Flash. Khee!
  22. Bri, Like I told you last night, I swear I'm comin' up with a Dog Collar Challenge. Khee! Stay tuned....
  23. I'm pretty sure we got it. I'm not sure why you're getting undeliverable messages. I cleared out the HNet mailbox last night just to make sure. Anyhoo, Bri is currently going over submissions and will make an announcement soon.
  24. My condolences. It's tough to lose someone you love, whether it's a friend, a family member, or a beloved pet. Just remember all the good times and take comfort in the fact that he's no longer suffering. Follow Bri's advice and do something positive for other living creatures in remembrance of Buddy.
