  1. Very well said, Sheep. I concur.
  2. Doc, Alex, you both should take Brian's advice. Alex has made it clear to me that he wants to resolve things and be friends again with you, Doc. If you are sincere in your apology, and I have no reason to believe you aren't given Sheep's and Brian's posts, you will take him up on it and TALK. Friendships need to be constantly worked on and nourished, through good times and bad. I will keep this thread open until everyone involved agrees they want it closed.
  3. I think you should reconsider that decision (and probably read the rest of the thread before you comment). You two need to talk privately, openly, and honestly. It's clear there have been misunderstandings that need to be resolved.
  4. Great! Drinks are all on Brian!
  5. I understand where you're comin' from, but sometimes more open and honest communication can be done behind closed doors, that's all I'm sayin'.
  6. I wasn't planning on deleting it. My point was that I think this is the business of those involved and not the business of the rest of the HazzardNet members. If you would like me to create a private forum to facilitate discussion among those involved, I will do so.
  7. Well, we'll have to agree to disagree on this, Brian. Somethings are best done in private. I'm sure there's plenty of private angst you (and I and plenty of others) have preferred to not air in public. I think y'all need to take this into IM or something. This isn't "How HazzardNet Turns".... LOL.
  8. It's always nice to see familiar faces back again after a long absence, but I think you need to discuss this in private with all the individuals involved. Good luck!
  9. I agree. Feel free to talk about it via PM if you can do so respectfully and civilly, but we prefer not to get into public political discussions on HazzardNet to avoid any heated exchanges that will inevitably result.
  10. Ok, ok. Winner will get a bona-fide ghost radar. LOL. It'll help ya keep track of the one left as a ghost. http://www.ghostradar.co.uk/
  11. I like the spook-off idea. The loser gets, as a parting (departing?) gift... GHOST POOP!! That's as charitable as I get tonight.
  12. That'd be quite a surprise to Bill and Pat Garner!!
  13. I was so busy slacking off that I forgot to post a Happy Birthday message. LOL. Tho', I did send a card and gift. Happy Birthday, Brian!
  14. It's intended to keep spambots and automated software from signing up and spamming the boards. So far, it seems to be working pretty well. *fingers crossed*
  15. Forum maintenance has been completed. Please let us know if you experience any glitches.
  16. Just a quick update, we had some very malicious spammers attack the site this morning and posted very inappropriate stuff. I think we got all of it. Please let us know if you find any more. For the time being, I have restricted new registrations to the site until I can upgrade the software with the latest security patches. Please let me know if you have any problems with the site. You shouldn't, as the new restrictions should only affect recently registered members, but ya never know. Oh, and for those that don't know, you can report a bad post by clicking on the red triangle icon on the upper right side of the post. That will email us with all the info we need to take care of it. Thanks all!
  17. I would also like to add to that the following fine citizens of Hazzard. I'm sure I'll probably forget some of the names of folks who've helped by reporting spammers, but y'all know who you are and I'd like to extend a hearty thank you for helping us keep this place as spam free as possible. DaisyMaeDuke BoJamesDuke The_Dukes_Generl_Lee01 JESSI DUKE General Grant and I think RogerDuke reported one too. Thanks, y'all!
  18. Well, if that character won't cooperate, try another. Since I'm done with my story, I have a character you can borrow. Khee!
  19. While I have no love for the press, they did not put the weed in his possession. They just reported what they found out. It was his personal choice and he got caught. Why he chose that, I don't know and personally I don't care. That's his business. I don't judge him. He's human and he makes mistakes. Celebrities are unfortunate in that they live most of their lives in public view. Many people think they are exactly like the characters they portray, but I can tell you that they certainly are not.
  20. Well, it's not very long, but it's a good 'un, if I do say so myself. Khee!
  21. I've already turned my story in. MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
  22. I just checked on my computer and I'm not getting that on Firefox or IE. I'm wondering if it's something in your browser setup. Perhaps the little "Number of users chatting" java thing is causing IE to think there's an ActiveX program running? That's only a guess.
  23. I'm in. I haven't haunted HNet in a while, so if I lose, y'all just might see more of me. Hehehe..
