  1. There's an ancient Polish proverb that says... "Though the hippopotamus has no sting on its tail, the wise man would still rather be sat on by a bee."
  2. I'm pretty sure that the other ones that were in there know by now that they need to behave. And if they don't, let this post serve as their warning.
  3. "Whoever gossips to you, will gossip about you." Just a little old Spanish proverb that a lot of y'all should keep in mind.
  4. And as I said, I read everything that went on that night. You, admittedly, came in late. If I hadn't known what had gone on, I would've asked for input from those that were there. I did know what went on, therefore I didn't ask for input.
  5. Not to mention, this person had already been warned once before.
  6. Yes, I know there were several, but there was one person doing more than most and trouble usually didn't start until said person showed up. We have chosen to deal with that one person at this time. If others continue to disrupt, then we will deal with them too. As of yet, only warnings have been given.
  7. Sheriff, no one "tattled". I saw it all in black and white myself. And it has become a pattern of disruption, not just one night. This is just the latest incident. I have resolved issues between the folks involved with trivia night disruption and other members before. I defended them even though they weren't completely innocent in everything themselves. I would hope that they'd have some respect for me and the other moderators here and behave themselves and show respect towards the other HazzardNet members, not just during trivia nights, but always.
  8. All that I and the other moderators have decided is that we will no longer tolerate disruptions in Trivia Nights. Do you not agree with that?
  9. Well, to me, that didn't quite sound like a friendly little message, especially given what's been going on in trivia the past few weeks. It sounded to me like... "How would you like me to tell you what you can do with your points?"
  10. If you have any issues, DaisyMae, I suggest you take it up with me or Brian or MaryAnne, since Trivia Nights is an official HazzardNet event.
  11. The 1:25s are easy to find. We've picked up a few at our local hobby shop. We still see 'em every time we go in. I do think the 1:16s are harder to find. I'm not sure I've ever seen one, really.
  12. Rosco fans? On THIS site? Nah.... That's crazy talk! (Btw, it's called HazzardNet.com because RoscoNet.com was taken. LOL!)
  13. Well, if you roll the Valentine's Day challenge INTO the March Luck Challenge, that's what you'd get!
  14. Ain't that the truth!
  15. I'm sure it'll be a doozy! I can't wait either.
  16. You've aged gracefully, Jimmie.
  17. This is just about how my family moved from Arkansas to California. :rofl:If they hit a bump in the road, they'd lose half their worldly possessions and a few of the kids...
  18. Jimmie usually needs a hair cut. LOL.
  19. At least, not the kind of notice you want. Khee! It is kinda flattering in a way, ain't it? For those of you who have no idea what we're talking about, MaryAnne made the collage used in the video and it's been on our site for years. You can see it here... http://www.hazzardnet.com/blog/dukes-of-hazzard-original-tv-series/the-characters/
  20. Howdy! And welcome to HazzardNet! Be sure to post pictures of your General Lee when it's done.
  21. Do I need to? I think I could survey a handful of folks and get a unanimous answer just from that sample.
  22. Survey says.... X
  23. You noticed they stole... err, borrowed that too, eh?
  24. Harry, our fan of the month for February 2009, is fighting cancer. The doctors have said that there's nothing more they can do for him, but Harry's not giving up. We've started this thread so folks can offer well-wishes, words of encouragement, thoughts and prayers for him. If you'd like to send him an email directly, please PM or email any of the moderators and we'll send you his email address. We're rooting for you, Harry! You're in our thoughts and prayers every day. You can read more about Harry by clicking here. Edited to add: Harry has signed up as dipstickdeputy1stclass. Feel free to send him some PMs!
  25. Vestibule!
