"I know there's no point in dwelling on the past though. Aren't you upset about Cindy?" Tom asks. Cue anyone.

"Take me instead. There's more at risk with me." Lizzy offers. Cue anyone.

"I don't know, probably nothing." Tom answers. Cue anyone.

"Darlin' you're gonna listen to your Uncle Jesse and you're gonna go to the hospital I've got to stay here for a while but I'll see you when you get back home alright?" Lizzy says. Cue anyone.

"Hey Lizzy." Luke says. "Yeah?" "You got your knives?" Lizzy slides her hands into her back pockets but comes up empty handed. "They're in my car." Lizzy says. "So what do you want to do know." Luke asks. "If I was being taken hostages I kick him where the sun don't shine but it's not me so I think we better figure out how to keep a tail on him. I just hope we can stall him longer and Bo doesn't change the tire." Lizzy replies. Cue anyone.

In the present... Tom looks at Lizzy and runs his hands through his hair. "Darlin' how did you do this to yourself and more importantly why? I love you baby girl please little sister don't give up. We need you here, please come back to us." Tom mutters rubbing the back of Lizzy's hand. Tom sits and watches silently for Lizzy to wake up but so far she hasn't. Cue anyone.

Lizzy looks at Uncle Jesse and shrugs. "I know darlin' and she's just the cutest thing too. Now sweetie do me a favor and listen to you Uncle Jesse alright? He's gonna take real good care of you now." Lizzy says hoping Julie will fall for it. Cue anyone.

Bo smirked looking at Jason. "I can change the tire but that's about it. You know why? Cause I don't have the keys. Julie took them with her when she left." Bo says as Luke and Lizzy slide back into the swamp. Cue anyone.

Soon Julie falls asleep with memories of that time flashing through her head. "Ms. Duke is it?" The doctor asks. "Yes." Julie answers. "I've got some good news. You're pregnant. About three months along." Julie goes home shocked a bit later thinking of how she's going to tell Brian they'll be having another baby when he comes through the door with a cigarette in one hand and a beer in the other. "Get me another beer woman." Brian barks. "No, I've told you before there's no beer in my house and don't smoke around me I have asthma and I'm pregnant." "You little ***** how could you do this to me? This is all your fault." Brian smacks Julie once across the face and then disappears into his room. Three weeks later Julie is back at the doctors and this time he tells her he's 95% sure she's gonna have a boy. When she in forms Brian of this he goes ballistic and smacks her around a bit more. Brian ends the torture by shoving Julie hard enough she falls to the floor landing on her stomach. "Get rid of it." Brian spits. Julie goes to the doctor the next morning and finds out she indeed miscarried when Brian shoved her and had lost her baby boy. By this point Julie is very upset and can't figure out a way to tell Brian she's lost the baby. A week later Brian comes home from the bar again and stares at Julie. "Have you gotten rid of that thing yet?" He snaps. Julie opens her mouth to answer but the phone rings. After a short conversation Julie hangs up and looks at a glaring Brian. "Who was it?" "A social worker named Bethany Thomas. She's going to stop by tomorrow. Someone told her that something's not right here and she'll be here to check things out. If it doesn't turn out right she could take Angel away." Julie answers. "Little brat she'll deserve it." Brian snaps. The next day Brian is home early and right as he pulls into the driveway Bethany pulls in behind him. He goes inside to find Angel and Julie waiting in the living room. "Brian...please don't let her take my baby." Julie pleads. "Fine. Just do what I say and the brat will stay." At the end of the visit Bethany can see how things can escalate and decides to take Angel to a safer place. "Mr. and Mrs. Davenport I'll be back in the morning to pick up Angelena have her things packed and ready to go." Bethany says. As she walks out Julie turns to Brian. "Please don't let her take my Angel, please Brian." "I'll take care of it." Brian agrees grudgingly. He walks out to Bethany's car and leans in the passenger window. "Hey there sweetheart, is there any way I can change your mind about taking Angel from Julie. As much as I don't like the little brat she keeps that ***** of a wife of mine pacified so I don't have to worry about her ranting." "Mr. Davenport..." "Please call me Brian." "Brian, in my professional opinion Angelena is in a bad environment and she needs to be moved." "What can I do to change your mind darlin'." By now Brian is laying on the southern accent and charm thick as he can and he can see it's working to an extent. "Bethany, can I call you Bethany? Bethany I can take care of women real good. How bout I take you to my favorite spot and show you just how good I am?" "I don't know, it's not very professional." "Darlin' twenty minutes with me and you'll reconsider every decision you've made about southern men." Brian says. Julie is watching from the window and can tell things are going very well from Brian's standpoint. Soon she sees Brian climbing into the social worker's car and them driving off. A few weeks after that Julie has had enough of Brian so she pulls out a .45 and shoves it in his face. Words are exchange and soon Brian is gone and Julie and Angelena are safe once again. Cue anyone.

"What did she have six years ago?" Lizzy asks. "And I can watch Jamie it'll be no problem." Cue anyone.

Bo knew there had been something strange with Jason as far as he was concerned. Knowing what he knew then he tapped Jason on the shoulder and caused him to turn around and then Bo clocked him right in the nose causing Jason to stumble back. "Julie take the General and get out of here. Then call Luke and Lizzy and let them know." Bo demands watching Jason. Cue anyone.

"Uncle Jesse," Lizzy says when she finds him. "Hey, Lizzy." He replies. "Why is Julie so sick? I know you're hiding something." Cue anyone.

"Dig your own grave Jason. Luke can we go?" Lizzy asks. Luke nods and they both climb into the car and take off. Cue anyone.

"I wouldn't do that in front of her cousins if I were you Jason." Lizzy says. "Let's go Lizzy." Bo says. "No way. I'm not letting you get her into any more trouble. Lizzy I'm taking you to the boar's nest. The rest better be on your way as well." Luke says. Lizzy groans and gets into the car Luke's driving. Cue anyone.

"I don't know." Lizzy replies. "I'll see what I can get out of Uncle Jesse but you know how that goes sometimes." Cue anyone.

Tom pulled his arms tight around his best friend and kissed her forehead. "Out now, both of you and I don't want to see either of you in here until I give the ok." Tom says. Both Luke and Cooter glare at Tom but he whips out a bowing knife similar to Lizzy's. "I taught her how to throw don't make me use this on you." Luke looks at Cooter and they both leave letting Tom pull Lizzy back up onto the bed. "Sorry about this Julie." Tom says pulling the curtain shut around Lizzy's bed. A doctor comes in a bit later and after examining Julie he steps behind the curtain and looks at Lizzy and Tom. "Who are you?" "Tom Johnson." "You're the one that has power of attorney over her correct?" "Yes. The only people I want to see in here are Doctors, nurses, Uncle Jesse, and Bethany her social worker. Other than that no one else is to be behind this curtain." "Yes sir." The doctor says. He makes a note on the clipboard and after checking on Lizzy he walks out. In Lizzy's mind... After the darkness over takes her Lizzy sees a single spot light shining. She begins to walk towards it and reaches it seeing a different scene. "That's you and Molly." A voice says in her ear as Lizzy watches a woman and child at the park. Lizzy looks up to see a woman dressed in a white gown sorta floating behind her. "She loves you as if you were her mother. She knows you're not but she doesn't care." "How..." "Doesn't matter." The scene changes to a bedroom with a man that looked remarkably like Luke pacing outside the door. "That's Luke in case you were wondering." "Dada?" The same child looking a bit older asks. "She'll be ok darlin'." Luke replies swinging Molly into his arms. "Please Lord let her be ok." A bit of time passes and Uncle Jesse emerges from the room. "You have a son. She named him Jeeter Jesse Duke. JJ for short." Uncle Jesse says. "And Lizzy...?" "We had such a hard time saving JJ that she only got to hold him once before...I'm sorry Luke. She passed." The old man wipes his brow watching his nephew carefully. "No...my baby...how...?" "She wasn't taking care of herself again. After what happened to Tom she just gave up. She knew she had to give birth but...losing so many people gave her no hope." Uncle Jesse replies. "That's one possibility." The woman says as the scene changes again. This time to the Dukes' kitchen where everyone was dressed in black. "What's going on?" Lizzy asks. "That's two months from now. You never woke up and Cooter couldn't take it anymore. Molly lives with her grandparents and she'll end up a lot different than I did. She'll end up like I was when I first met you; a stuck up, snotty brat." The woman explains. Lizzy looks closer and sees that the woman is indeed Cindy. "This is another possibility." Once again Lizzy is watching a funeral but this time she doesn't see anyone who looks familiar except maybe the girl in the front row with dark brown hair. "That girl looks familiar." Lizzy points out. "Just watch." Cindy says. "Grandma was a wonderful woman and we all loved her. She lived a full life of love and joy and happiness. She made everyday worth living even if she herself did always feel so great. At 92 she was an inspiration to us all. Ever since that day she let Luke Duke into her life and he saved her from self-pity and destruction showing her love and laughter she was an amazing person. After Grandpa Luke passed three years ago Grandma Lizzy tried to show us the same strong person she always was but if you looked close enough..." here the girl choked up, "You could see the mask was breaking and she was dying a little on the inside everyday. We hope you're happy with Grandpa up there Grandma Lizzy." "The girl that looks familiar is your youngest great-granddaughter. Molly's granddaughter. Molly's oldest girl gave the speech." Cindy says. "Lizzy..." Cindy sighs as a living room appears and they both take a seat. "What?" "That second one is gonna come true if you don't do something. I know you love Luke, I've known it as long as I've known about you and him. Don't deny yourself happiness because of Cooter he'll come around you know he will. Also about this starving yourself business, we've talked about it and you know how I feel. Please don't do this. I love you and there is nothing you can do now about me passing on. I need you to do me a favor. There is only two things I will ask of you now. In my room at the apartment, top left box in my closet there is a book. In the center of that book is a piece of paper. That is the hidden will that was done two weeks before I met Jimmy. I thought I was pregnant before I met Jimmy. I had that drawn up just in case. And second I need you to live and take care of my little girl. She's beautiful but she needs your hand in her upbringing just like I did. Take care of her." Cindy whispers. Cue anyone.

It takes a couple of days but soon Luke, Bo, and Lizzy are all back on their feet. When Lizzy finds out that although she's been getting better Julie hasn't been she tries her hardest to get Julie to feeling better. "I have to go check on Julie, Bo you and Luke have chores get to them as soon as you clean up in here, and Lizzy your father wants you down at the garage helping him out when you finish breakfast." Uncle Jesse says the second day Lizzy and Bo were back on their feet. It's been about four days since Lizzy beat out the Jamison's and saved the Duke's and no one has heard from them since. Cue anyone.

"Yeah they just don't make them like they used to anymore." Lizzy agrees. Cue anyone.

Lizzy can see the steam coming out of Luke's ears at Brian's confession and Julie's confirmation. "Luke don't do anything stupid." Lizzy warns. "You had better run very, very far Brian Lee 'cause I guarantee if you don't I will kill you with my bare hands." Luke says. "And I won't be very far behind him." Cooter adds. "Luke don't." Lizzy says. "Now Davenport." Luke says ignoring Lizzy. Lizzy pulls her arm out of the restraint and stands up. "If either of you touch my brother I'll will strangle both of you no matter how much I love you." Lizzy says. Then she feels her chest seize up and her knees start to buckle under her. Unfortunately neither Luke nor Cooter are close enough to catch her as she starts her decent but the arms that wrap around her are strong and protective as she fades into darkness. Cue anyone.

Luke can see how frustrated and angry Lizzy is getting so he does something that may be completely stupid and ridiculous and may end up getting him killed. He takes a deep breath and leans down kissing Lizzy. Slowly he feels the tension fading from her body and so he pulls back. "Don't get involved." Lizzy says after a bit. "I don't give a darn how good she is in bed, I don't care if you liked her, I. Do. Not. Care. You get involved and you screw this up for me Brian Lee Davenport I will kick your tail end from here to Timbuktu and it will hurt." Lizzy says angrily. "Brian don't just don't." Luke says. Cue anyone.

"That makes me wonder Julie, who did the wash last?" Lizzy asks. "Probably Daisy." Luke answers as Cooter pulls out. Cue anyone.

"I think that can wait. Cooter can I speak to you alone for a moment?" Luke says. At Cooter's protest Luke looks at him and sharply says "Now." Cooter walks a good distance with Luke and looks at him. "What?" "How much longer are you going to treat Liz like she's 15?" "What are you talking about Duke?" Cooter asks harshly. "Cooter don't play dumb with me. I know Lizzy is your only kid but you can't keep treating her like she's not gonna grow up. Your daughter has turned into a sexy, beautiful, young woman and it's a fact you better start accepting. If you don't tone down the parental attitude then she may turn up next hurt and pregnant with no where else to go or worse she'll end up driving so far away you'll never hear from her again until the police inform you they've found her body. I don't want to scare you Cooter I just want to warn you of what you could end up doing." Luke explains. "You really think that I'm going to far overboard?" Cooter asks softly. "Yeah a little. She must have just come from Hazzard Pond with Bo and think of it this way at least she was wearing a swimsuit. You know how people normally swim in Hazzard pond. Aside from falling for Bo has she done anything that's really as bad as what you did when you were younger?" Luke asks. Cooter walks back thinking followed by Luke. "Lizzy I'll take you to the Boars Nest, Bo head back to the farm tell Uncle Jesse what's up, and Julie you and Jason can follow Cooter to town." "Dad?" Lizzy asks. "Go." Cooter says. Lizzy climbs out of the truck and heads to Luke's car. Cue anyone.

In Angel's room... "Give me a chance to answer huh?" The doctor says looking at the quartet. "It is my power because I'm the senior doctor on your case at Tri-county hospital. I'm sorry you're uncomfortable Ms. Duke I'll loosen it so that you're more comfortable but not so you can get up. As for the bathroom that button there calls for a nurse she'll come in and let you up and then make sure you're back in bed. There are certain measures that need to be taken while she's here to make sure she's getting better and one of which calls for the restraint. As for you Mr. Knight you are not her father biologically or legally so her condition is of no concern. In fact I don't even have to speak with you or her mother about her. She is over 18 and in Georgia that makes her a legal adult so she is the only one I have to consult about her condition and treatment. Now if you'll excuse me I have some other patients I have to be treating." The doctor says. In Lizzy's room... Lizzy looks over at Julie and sighs. "The doctor probably does it to all the underfed patients he has. As for me I'm more of a flight risk you saw it yesterday. I just ripped the IV out of my arm and fled, the doctor probably just wants to make sure it doesn't happen again. I don't think she'll be any happier about this than I am but I'm sure she's a strong young woman and she'll put up with it." Lizzy says. Cue anyone.

"No it's fine I'll take her." Bo says quickly. "No way in hell. Get in the truck Elizabeth." Cooter demands. "I am not 17 any more Dad leave me alone." Lizzy says. "Fine go where ever the hell you want and do whatever you want but know this when you get home tonight your suitcase will be on the front porch waiting." "Dad..." "No, you're not 17 any more Liz and that means you're not my problem." Lizzy opens her mouth then looks around at Julie, Luke, Jason and finally Bo. "I'm sorry." Lizzy whispers hanging her head. "Get a shirt on and get in the truck." Cooter says. Lizzy reaches into the back of the General and grabs her shirt slinging it on before piling her hair up under a Braves hat in the truck. She then gets into the truck and sinks down in the truck. Cue anyone.
