Poor LoriDavenport! I sure do hope that you can make it to chat this week. I feel bad that you have to clean the whole house all by yourself! Emy-Rae: I sure hope that you can make it, too. Well, I guess that I hope that all of you can make it! I'll try to be there, but I never can tell. I can forget easily sometimes! Laura Duke

Thanks for the answers everyone! Here's a couple of questions for all of you to answer, please. When you aren't running from the sheriff and you actually have time to relax (which probably isn't very often) what kind of hobbies do you like to do? What would be a perfect day for each of you? Do you Dukes grow a garden? If so, what's in it? Also, what kind of animals do you have now? Do you still have Maudeen? Does Cooter ever come over to talk with you guys? It seems the only time he comes over is to warn you about the next time Boss gets a scheme up his sleeve. Talk to all of you soon! Laura Duke

Ha! Ha! Roger (or Uncle Jesse) you cracked me up! That was so funny-Jesse ninja! How do you come up with those? They are funny! BoJamesDuke and LoriDavenport-you two just love to bother one another! I was laughing at you two. Then there's General Grant, and again, LoriDavenport. You give it to her Lori. Poor Lori, always getting picked on. Why is that? She's so sweet and innocent, how can anyone pick on her? Then there's DaisyMae-she's trying her best to stay out of trouble. So far so good, huh Daisy? I'm still laughing, you guys are just such a funny group! Laura Duke

How many notes to Dixie on the General
Laura Duke replied to deathangel_tori's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
Oh, alright-if all of you say it's 12 notes, then you must be right! I can't imagine me miscounting! Laura Duke -
Uncle Jesse, thanks for clearing up the Baptist/Methodist question that you replied to on Page 6. Daisy, I loved the question that you gave yourself on page 3, I laughed at that one. Bo and Luke, you two are good. You have such quick, witty answers to everything. All of you are wonderful. I feel like I'm talking to Uncle Jesse, Daisy, Bo, and Luke! Daisy-growing up with all guys must be kind of hard(no offense). Do you ever wish that you had a sister? If you did, would you rather have an older sister or a little sister? Uncle Jesse-do you ever wish that you could replace your pick-up truck with a car like Daisy or the boys vehicles? Luke-Do you still regret letting Cooter borrow your car that he smashed up? Or, are you content sharing a vehicle with Bo? Bo-Do you regret not going with Diane Bensons' traveling carnival, or are you happy that you decided against it? Well, that's all for now! Laura Duke

(Imitating Waylon Jennings) "Do you know this all started by someone asking what they thought of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Duke? Ya'll stick around, there could be some tricky curves ahead." Thanks Lori, General needs to be kept in line. And, you right, Poor ol' Laura gets picked on all the time. Until Uncle Jesse and Lori come along! Here's a question: how come Uncle Jesse never picks a fight or gets into one? And, you never see Uncle Jesse pick sides. How is that? And, why is it Daisy always argues with Bo? But, then again, just about everyone argues with Bo! I'll talk to all of you soon! Laura Duke

Hi Everyone! This sounds like fun! I will sure try to be there on Sunday! That was really fun chatting last week, so I'm definately looking forward to that again. We will have to slow down for Roger and General, though. Sorry to hear that you won't make it Lori, I hope next week you can, though. DaisyMae, I don't know if this will help, but I don't use the pop-up chat room because it just doesn't work well. I recommend a separate page for the chat room. When that page pops up, there will be a grey box with a picture of a coffee cup on the top left corner. Take your mouse and hit the grey box, and in a few moments it should work just fine. I hope it works and you will be able to make it on Sunday. Well, I'll talk to you all then-I can't wait! Laura Duke

Hello 01getaway! Welcome to HazzardNet! I sure hope that you enjoy your stay here. As I can see, you've already had some of the nicest people to come and give you a warm Hazzard welcome. But, trust me, there's still some great people you haven't met yet! So stick around, it sure is fun and interesting! And, that's so cool that you could use the General Lee for your wedding day. How did you find the General? Welcome! Laura Duke

That is such a neat idea! How did you come up with using the General Lee, and how did your wife feel about that? That would be so fun to do (if you like the Dukes of Hazzard ) Great picture, too! Again, what an awesome idea! I love it! Laura Duke

Hello! A few years ago I saw "Copland." I probably only watched it for a half an hour because I caught the end of the show. For the 30 minutes I saw it, it did seem interesting. Yes, he did look as though he gained some weight for that show, but he still did look kind of fit. Yes, I did see the Karate Kid, and I do agree-I think that it does seem to be rather like a spin-off of Rocky. But, I loved both shows! What does everyone else think? Laura Duke

Here's a question for Daisy (But it's kind of already answered), You have always been kind of a tomboy, ready to take care of yourself without needing help. So, here's my questions: Who do you fight with more when you were younger: Bo or Luke? Do you tackle them anymore? If so, who do you tackle more? Laura Duke

Uncle Jesse, I thought that you were Methodist.?. But in your letter you say that you are Baptist. What happened that made you switch over? Laura Duke

James Best appearance in Canton,Ohio Jan,26th
Laura Duke replied to TimDuke's topic in James Best / Rosco P. Coltrane
Hi Everyone, Oh, now I'm kind of jealous! That sounded like such a great time! Thanks for sharing it, it makes me feel like I was there! Wonderful picture, TimDuke! DaisyMae, what is the story behind how James Best rescued Velvet Ears? Hopefully one of these days I will be able to go to a Dukes of Hazzard related event-and be able to meet some of you wonderful Hazzardites! Laura Duke -
I think I'm a little late, isn't that usual for me! Better late the never! Happy Birthday Rick and Cletus! Since I'm late, I'll sing this for you: Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday Rick/Cletus! Happy Birthday to You! ~And Many more!~ Laura Duke

Hi Everyone! I thought the line went "fightin' the system like two modern day Robin Hoods" But, I have been known to misunderstand before. Shocking, isn't it? Well, the whole thing still puzzles me, and it can drive me crazy when I watch the Dukes: is that Waylon's voice? I guess I'll probably never know. Roger, you could have asked James Best, he might have known. Well, talk to you all soon! Laura Duke
-
Hi BoJamesDuke! Just remember us simple Hazzard folks when you become rich and famous! Also, (clears throat) Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday, dear BoJamesDuke! Happy Birthday to You! Okay, well maybe LoriDavenport would have sang it better than I. But you get the idea. I sure hope that you had a wonderful birthday. As for everyone else... Have a great evening! Laura Duke

General, I think that's a splendid idea! Maybe we could set up a time and keep that every week? Not everyone will be able to chat every time, but you will get a great variety of chatters. So, yes, I love the idea. What day and time do you have in mind? I was at the chat too, and it was Sunday. I'm not sure what time it was. What do others think? Laura Duke P.S. Thanks to everyone who chatted Sunday. I can't tell you how fun it was!

Hello Everyone! I must say, I really don't know if I like "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Duke" It's an interesting show, but Luke's pure evil that you see makes me kind of fidgety. I'm so used to seeing him so sweet and kind. So, to see that really makes me shudder! Plus, Bo looks so confused and helpless-I just feel so sorry for him! Now, I need to clear something up....I've known General Grant for a while, and I'm hearing some shuck 'n jive from the General. General, shy? When roused, it's like being face to face to a bear! No, I'm kidding. But, I have to say, the General really is not shy-at least the General I know. It's been a while since I saw "A Strange Visit to Hazzard"-but I thought that I kind of liked it. I think that show was one of the best ones, for me. That's probably because I'm gullable and believe just about anything. So, Roger, how was the visit to Ohio to meet James Best? I'm SO, SO jealous. To bad I couldn't go. But, if you fill me in, I'd feel a whole lot better! BoJamesDuke, how's the acting coming along? Can I be signed up as the first person to receive a DVD of your next show? Talk to all of you later! Laura Duke

Boy, Roger! You're good! I don't know how you come up with these questions. I'm going to have to guess on this page, too! * I would say Old Post Road was on the Dukes. (No clue for sure, though-maybe I'll be lucky for once!) * William's Crossroad's (?) * The Meeting (Again, no clue!) So, how many questions do I need to get right to get close to DaisyMae, I've heard she's great at this. You don't go and cheat by finding the answers, do you? I don't know if that would make me feel better or not.

How many notes to Dixie on the General
Laura Duke replied to deathangel_tori's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
Well, I just read this, and the majority is saying it's 12 notes, not the 10 that I told deathangel_tori-so sorry about that. I will have to listen REALLY hard to the Dixie when it gets played, it's really starting to bug me now! I'm stumped! Thanks to everyone for answering! Laura Duke -
Thanks for getting back to me, General slot car. It sounds really cool! I would have never guessed that the slot cars were electric. That's pretty neat! So, do you paint up the cars just like a model car? Do you put the motor in, too? Really neat! I'm glad that you shared all of this, it's really gotten my curiosity! Laura Duke

Hey Everyone! All these questions/responses are great! This is really fun! Here's a question: How many miles are one the General? Did you ever un-weld the doors Uncle Jesse? Thanks, Laura Duke

The Official Dukes of Hazzard Trivia Thread
Laura Duke replied to Meadowmufn's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
Thanks for the compliment, Roger! I sure do appreciate that. I got laughed at though, because some people think that I'm not logical, but I sure showed all of you doubters! I have to say Methodist. I have friends who are Baptist, and I don't know anyone who's Methodist, and I remember thinking, "Now, I wonder what there beliefs are." (That one wasn't a logical explanation! ) So, that's my answer! Laura Duke- 3,817 replies

Hey Roger! I watched another show of the Dukes of Hazzard. I'm sure that you already know this, but Highway 7 forks to (the left I think) and takes you to the Boar's Nest. Also, Highway 7 is also next to the Dukes Property. Oh, I remember, this was from, "Carnival of Thrills-Part 1" You know, until I started working on "Rip Henry Flatt" I never picked up on this before, but now that I do-you catch a lot more! Sorry to hear that you can't watch Dukes every other night-that is sad! But, keep me updated on your map! Laura Duke
