  1. Hey Redneck girl...I'm on now for a little while if you are on and still wanna chat.

  2. You forget about me yet, Lori? I hope all is going well with you and that Lori and all of your other muses are cooperating full heartedly with you. Keep it between the ditches ;) Wouldn't want ol' Cooter or LB having to go fish you out of a ditch or so...or outta trouble. :D

  3. I agree with Roger one hundred percent on what he had just said - very well wrote Roger.
  4. Was kinda excited last night we went out to eat and they were playing Country on the radio (a little too loud for eating) but Dwight Yoakam came on. I love his music. He is so unique and original. Different than all the rest and great all at the same time.

Well I will go for now. I may be on later and might not be. Depends on how tired I am. LOL. Numb3rs (my other favorite show - tied with the Dukes. Ever hear or see it before?) is on at nine so I will be gone for that and may be on afterwards. Dunno though so no promises.

  5. Also got to cut and take home a picture of Jeff Gordon and his daughter Ella from another magazine there that another person at work found. I am a HUGE Jeff Gordon fan...so I was excited about that. You follow any racing? If so, who do you watch? LOL. I never was into racing until the Dukes with The General and all their racing, now I am obsessed with it. Who would have known. LOL. I would have thought you were crazy eleven or so years ago if anyone said I would even sorta like it. Now I look forward to the races each Sunday. ;)

Well I will definately shut up now. I can go on and on and on about NASCAR / Gordon or the Cubs or Dukes. The only things I really know something about. Sad, ain't it?

  6. Not familiar with AJ's line dance...and no, your posts are NOT boring. I enjoy them!

Well if you evern do get a ch ance to hear the NKOTB (New Kids) keep in mind htey are not country. LOL. Funny thing is, is that someone from work brings magazines, along hte line of People, and the onsite supervisor made a statement that the kids were in one of them...I got to cut the pic and small article out to take home. It was about their cruise that they had back in may...guess Jon got seasick and had to stay in his room all day cause of it. Some people paid a th ousand dollars to be there! Wish I could awent. LOL, but I definately don't have that much money laying around for stuff like that.

  7. I have ten or so minutes if you want to chat

  8. Happy birthday Kelly...I hope it was a very special day! :D

  9. I have heard of "Lord of the Rings" but never really did get into the movies or tried to read any of the books. I haven't heard of the other authors you all have listed. I am not really into that sort of thing, I like a good mystery - either lawyer or police or both. My favorite authors are: Lee Child, Micheal Connolly, John Lescroart, and Steve Martini. Once I get any of their books started, they are hard for me to set them back down.
  10. Redneckgirl01- YAY...I really hope that you get to go to the concert. That sounds like fun! I am glad to hear that they are coming back around you...once more I hope that youa re able to go.

  11. DaisyXEnos: I love Tim's music as well as Keith, and Alan as well as Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith. I think I liked most of them since the very beginning or close to their beginning. My favorite McGraw song is Everywhere or Indian Outlaw...there is so many to chose from I am sure there is one that I love that I am missing. My favorite Urban songs: Where the blacktop Ends, Days Go by -just to name a couple. I am so tired my mind isn't working properly. LOL. My favorite Alan song is Itty Bitty, Back where I come from, Five o'Clock somwhere

  12. Oh I am definately not complaining about Keith or Alan's CD's...they are both great. In fact, I like all of Keith's and Alan's music. So no complaining here about their music. :D You know through all this talk, no one has mentioned Tim McGraw. Anyone else like his music?

  13. I agree with the cardboard cases. Am not a big fan of those. Alan Jackson's new CD and Keith Urban's "Greatest Hits 2" is is in a case like that (of what I have) and am not a fan...as is Jimmy Buffett's Country CD that I have had for a few years now. So the idea has been around more, so it is kind of surprising that there isn't more of them or that they still make them that way. Though they all have the music paper in a different sleeve or so...Keith Urban even has a DVD in the one I got along with the CD. To me they don't seem to be as protective as the plastic ones are.

Please don't say they are going to stop making CDs! :( I'd be horrified...guess I'd have more money that way and wouldn't be as tempted to buy as much as I am now! LOL. I guess there could be a positive out of that.

Sorry for the long messages, hopefully they aren't too boring for you! Thank-you for yours...I enjoyed them!

  14. Ah Darius...lol. I think I would like to hear a song or two from Hootie and the Blowfish and hear what they sound like. I never heard their music and Darius has such a great voice! Funny thing is, the only time I've heard of the group is back years ago when I watched the Cubs games regularly. The announcers back then loved Hootie and the Blowfish and I remember always wondering how they would get a name like that for their group and had wondered what they would sound like.

  15. As I said, a long explaination to a short story. LOL. (The Cubs won all three games by the way ;) )

Mercy Me and News Boys are both Christian groups. Mercy Me is my all time favorite Christian group. Sorry, I should be more explanatory sometimes.

It is awesome that all the kids (They are all around forty years old, but are called kids. LOL) have decided to get back together. you don't normally see that and they put so much energy and excitement into their concerts and music still!

Oak Ridge Boys are awesome. The guy with the deep voice is great, love his voice. I have a couple of albums of them as well. Yeah "Thank God for Kids" is the one I was thinking of. Kenny chesney sings it as well on his xmas CD. Elvira is a great song! Love "Counting flowers on the wall" at one time I had the song on Eric Heatherly's CD, but I think I got rid of it.

  16. Sorry Redneck girl that I missed you yet again. Hope your computer gets to acting better. I know w hat you mean about songs in your head...this will probably be a long explanation to a short story...LOL

I work at a Day care in town with twos and three year olds. They have this book CD that t hey love called Victor Vido and Freddy Vasquez(Sp?) that is pretty much a song. Well I am a huge Chicago Cubs fan and this weekend they played the Indians and for once I got to watch the last few innings of each game this weekend (I don't have cable and am very limited to when I do get to watch them). Well the Indians' catcher's name is Victor Martinez. Everytime he made a play and they said his name or when he came up each time to bat, I had that dumb Victor Vido song going through my head...each game too! ERRRRR. LOL

  17. Redneckgirl01-I am sorry to hear that your ocmputer was giving you a hard time last night. I figured that you were having troubles of some sorts with your computer...it was either that or you were mad and attempting to ignore me. ;) LOL. Anyways, I hope it will cooperate with you today. Computers can be so frustrating sometimes!

  18. I can be in a few minutes if you are still there.

  19. Hmmm. . .that is a hard question. At least for me. Then again, it shouldn't be too surprising to me since the only 'new' or current show that I watch regularly is Numb3rs and Dog Whisperer and I don't see any connection between Numb3rs and Dukes. Especially not Dog Whisperer. So I guess I can eliminate Numb3rs and Dog Whisperer from the list.
  20. Happy birthday Mini! I hope that your special day was a great day and that the new year that lies ahead for you will be filled with everything good and happy - you deserve it! Have a great birthday, Mini Hogg!

  21. Yeah I saw that. It is neat that you were able to find a line or two that reminds you of your favorite characters on the show. My signature is from Toby Keith's song "Jacky Don Tucker" that says " You play by the rules you miss all the fun" or something like that...I think it reminds me of what my personal character, Garrett's, attitude is.

  22. I am not a Taylor Swift fan at all, but do give her credit to making it how far she has at her age. They play her and Carrie Underwood here all the time and it gets tiring.

Am a huge Alan Jackson fan. Enjoy his music and he puts on a good show. ;) I have most of his albums/CDs at home, I think his first two or three tapes of his I don't have. Very talented and very Country.

Hope you enjoy the CDs. :D

  23. Yikes, that doesn't sound fun at all! I think I'd consider it a bad day if I got any one of those last two mentioned, not alone both of them on the same day! Hope your leg is doing OK and that the ive stuff is going away also! I have sensitive skin so I can imagine how painful and itchy it has to be!
