  1. You really must be a Hughie fan to be this determined about having everyone liking him enough to trust Hazzard to him. Huh? Nothing against Hughie...but he had his chance. If memory serves me correctly, he had a second chance and blew it again. I think we're better with J.D. and Coltrane...someone we all know and know how to handle. Hughie is not to be trusted in my book. As I said earlier though, that all is of my personal opinion about Hughie. . .

  2. The Dukes keep an eye on ol' Hughie if given a second chance? I think the Dukes have too much other important things to do and worry about than have to continieously babysit Hughie to make sure he has changed as you claim he has. Such as the farm, racing, and cars. They don't need Hughie to interfere with that...I agree with Roger. I'd much have ol' Boss and Rosco in office/ for law than Hughie. Hughie needs to be locked up tight so he can't do any more harm to anyone else. But hey...that'd make for an interesting and fun fan-fic to write for you. That all is just my opinion, don't let it get your way...I'd much see Hazzard remain the same with Hogg and Coltrane as the law.
  3. The sky...lol. I should be in bed and look at me still online. Shame on me! Hope all is well with you.

  4. Well since you didn't read or take my apology for your misunderstanding there, Roger, I hope you take a nice long nap. Perhaps that will give me a chance to escape.
  5. Uncle Jesse may say we aren't here to judge...which he is right...but he would also warn us to be smart with those who we trust. And honestly, I can't say I trust Hughie one bit. Can't trust Boss or Coltrane either, but you can at least have a bit of trust of what they are up to. Hughie? You can't say that...to trust him any is asking for trouble...my opinion of course. :D

  6. LOL Redneck...sounds like someone is in a good mood. ;) Glad to hear it. Things are fine here. Should be in bed now, yet here I am online still. LOL.

  7. Get mad at you for voicing your opinion? Then let him be mad he'll get over it...I hope. LOL. Yeah...never was and never will be a Hughie fan. Boss and Rosco are the best in my book...maybe not the most honest and well liked people in Hazzard. But the show wouldn't be the same without them...and neither would Hazzard.
  8. You're the one - Another Dwight Yoakam song
  9. Enjoy it while you can Daisy, cause once you're out of high school, you'll be left out in the real world with college and work and all that other crazy stuff. Have confidence in yourself and just be who you are, you'll be fine.
  10. Ahhh we're back to the rain titled songs again...how about Rain, Rain, Go away!...LOL. Guess I've been working at the day care too long. It only Hurts when I cry - Dwight Yoakam...hope that works since it is Cry and not cryin', but I had to get another Dwight Yoakam song in. Gotta love his music...well I do at least.
  11. It is all what you make of it, Daisy. It can be scary to start something new and big like high school, but don't let it get to you. You can do it...just another year of school. Another year closer to graduation and the rest of your life.
  12. Hughie as Boss? *Shudders at the thought* It has been a long while since I seen an ep with him in it, but if memory is correct, I always thought of his worse than ol' JD Hogg. I think we're better off with JD or Rosco as Boss. At least we know what the rest of Hazzard is up against with them. But Hughie? *Shudders*
  13. *confused* When did I call you old, Roger? I don't recall saying that. But hey... you're the one that came out and said it, so if the shoe fits, might as well as wear it, right? Sorry I couldn't help myself, Roger...you know that right? Before you get anything else out to teach me some respect, I will apologize if in any way you got that out of my statement. I honestly didn't mean any disrespect to anyone nor to call anyone old. Heck we are only as old as we allow ourselves to believe we are. Or something like that. There is only a couple of scenes that stick out to me from when the show originally aired, but I kinda have an excuse for my horrible memory on this account. I was only four or five when the show had stopped filming. I am sure they probably ran reruns for awhile - I'm assuming, I can't remember - and that is probably what I remember. I remember a scene with the General flying...which isn't too descriptive since it could be about any episode. LOL. I just remember going to a friend's house and was excited to see they had it on TV and for some reason that scene stuck. The other one was when Boss and Rosco were chasing Bo and Luke and Luke hung out the window with his bow and arrow to knock the water tower (?) down in front of Hogg and Coltrane. *Hides behind tree* Honestly Roger, I meant no disrespect towards you or to call you old. So please don't take it out on me for your sensitivity of your age... (HA HA)
  14. I agree with Roger, just be yourself. And so what if you are the only Duke or Country music fan? I'm sure it would be easier for you if there were others that liked the Dukes or the same kind of music, but just cause they're isn't, doesn't mean you shouldn't like it. Just be who you are. If they don't like what you like, that's their problem. Be who you are and stick to your values no matter what. I am sure you can do it and people have a tendency to exaggerate on things anyways. I hope that is the case for you. I am sure it will take a few days to a few weeks to get use to things and all, but have confidence in yourself. If I surived highschool, so can you.
  15. Roger, that is neat that you are able to remember that show originally airing. I had kinda predicted it this way, then again, I've seen the ep probably a dozen times if not more so. It just had been a long time since I last saw it and I couldn't exactly remember how it had ended. Glad it did end in a tie. Hate to see either party lose or lose their car. Guess it'd be more sad to say good-bye to The General, but still sad to see Cooter fall into a hole financially by losing his. All in all, a great show.
  16. Live Like you were Dying - Tim McGraw
  17. Oh have a little confidence. I am sure they are not all that bad. Mine are probably not the greatest either, but it is something I enjoy doing.

  18. You haven't been to DOHff.com? I am asuming that is what you meant. Well that is what they are talking about in the thread there. That is where my stories are posted as well, but I am listed under my other created character's name on the site...Kristy Duke. Garrett's and Bo's older half sister. ;) Anyways, hope you are having a good Friday :D

  19. I'm Gonna Miss her - Brad Paisley
  20. I like that song...kinda find it funny in a sense. A guy meets another man in the bar once and ends up getting all of his money when he dies instead of the guy's kids. Another good song by Billy Currington.
  21. I just got done watching Duke Vs. Duke in season three...boy is it hard to see the boys fighting, but I think it was just as hard to see them racing against each other instead of working as a team as they always do. Especially knowing that either they'll lose the General or Cooter will lose his car and all the money he placed within it. Plus, it also gave me the dilemma of who to go for . Bo has always been my favorite, but Luke is right after him, so it was still hard. Though I've probably seen it many times, I was still excited to see them come up with a tie. Was great to see Bo do it in reverse as well as Rosco shoving Luke to the finish line...what a great episode!
