Rosco pulled up shortly followed by an ambulance. "Alright you Duke boys...I shoulda known you were behind this...now what's this all about Miss Dix....ohhh?" Quivers go through his liver seeing the blood. "Um...uh... that's right..get over here and take care of them...I'm in charge now...Uh...." He got out his cuffs. "Only one set of cuffs....kew.... guess we know who gets them don't we Flash? KewKew" He then walked over cuffing Bo to Luke.

Luke ran over to her. "Candy are you al...oh God!" he cried, seeing the blood on Candy and Lori's unconscious form." Bo call an ambulance!"

Luke ducked the swing throwing a left to his stomach and landing a right cross across his jaw as he glanced worriedly at the back seat.

Luke jumped out too rushing over to the car.

Luke opened his mouth to say something but shut it quickly.

Luke looked at Bo. "You better get a move on..." said Luke as he felt the car ram against his door.

"Well do it! Get in front of em!" He didn't mean to sound so demanding but he was scared to death.

"Luke saw the hand wave. That's them Bo...try and pull up closer....I'll try an shoot out their tires..." he said grabbing his bow from the back seat and climbinging half way out the window.

"A feelin that...we may be too late....hurry Bo!"

Luke was fidgiting. "Bo...Bo...I got one of my famous gut feelings..."

Luke nodded. "Well let's go....he might be hurting them...hurry Bo!"

Luke swallowed. "We'll just have to check em all...unless we find some type of gray vehicle first..."

Luke yelled "Candy! Candy!" before he finally gave up and dropped the CB rushing out to the General. "Go! Go!" panic clear in his voice.

Luke looked quickly at Bo. "Where are ya Candy?" he asked worry evident in his voice.

Luke was getting a cup of coffee when he heard the pabicked voice and grabbed the CB. "Candy?! Darlin, what's wrong?!"

Luke nodded a little. Sometimes, he was so thankful for Bo he longed to tell him just how much he meant to him. But it never happened, Luke never having been able to say his feelings like Bo. Now, he just clasped Bo's shoulder and gave him a sincere smile.

Luke swallowed, noddig a little. "Thanks brother...that means a lot."

"I wanna believe that..." admits Luke slowly.

Luke swallowed hard. "I don't want to think that...but...she has before...maybe she is now...maybe...*getting upset* maybe everything she said is a lie...maybe she don't still love me..."

Luke looked at him. "Well sure don't look like no kid brother to me...and he sure didn't look sick earlier...and Candy said he was sick and had to take him home."

Luke frowned. "When...when she started her career, her main goal was to put her kid brother through college...."

Luke sighed. "I got one of my famous gut feelings...that Candy's brother ain't on the up and up."

Luke sighed, loving that Bo knew him so well, but hating it also. "Nothin...probably me just bein protective and paranoid...it's alright."

Luke stayed quiet the whole drive back to the farm. He couldn't stop thinking about Candy's brother and his heart tightened more and more.

Luke nodded. "Yeah...I ain't got a reason to stay." He tried not to sound bitter about it, but something about her brother bothered Luke. Hadn't she told him she was putting er kid brother through college. Jack was around Candy's age...maybe close to Luke's... and he did not dress as a college kid. But why , he asked himself, would Candy not tell him about her older brother?
