Lori rolled her eyes and looked to him,"Ohh for god sakes Luke, I notice these small things that you mope about about Dixie, like again fer instance, last night.. then i find you when Im talking to you thinking of other things and not even paying attention to what im saying." She then looked to his hand and saw the ring was gone,"Were'd it go to ?" Luke looked down to his finger,"I took it off, If it bothered you that much I wouldve taken it off sooner, I forgot about it though," Lori half smiled,"Thats not it Luke, it never bothered me, well it did but that don't matter." Luke sighed,"Im only gonna explain this once more to ya honey, I love you with all my heart, I always have, always will. I always will love Dixie too and there will be times I'll talk about her or think about her. But I think of you too!" Ohhh that really helped Lori. Lori got in,"Move Luke, im still going to the lake, I gotta think these things through." Luke slammed his fists on th ecar,"Da-- it Lori!, well promise you'll come back to me and we can spend some time alone together so i can tell you and show you I love you." Lori humped her shoulders,"Aint no one stoppin ya go on..... you don't love me...and quite frankly Im fed up with this moping act you put on everytime Dixie either isn't included in something or like fer instance last night she didn't answer the farm's phone, and you wanted her too." Lori scooted away from Luke and knew from his tone of voice when Beth answered he wanted Dixie too, Lori still wasn't sure of his feelings for her.She didn't feel like arguing with him though. Luke rolled over slinging his arms drunkingly over her and letting his head rest on her shoulder, she tried to shrug him off but didn't have the heart too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ That next morning, Cooter was downstairs already, his hangover had hit him and he felt bad. Lori was downstairs already working. Cooter looked to him for the look he gave to her that-yer pregnant you shouldn't work- look. She knew what he was gonna say so she answered him,"Well someone has t' be the SOBER one of the bunch!" Cooter knew she was in a raw mood this morning, her morning sickness hit her and was gone but still had the aftershocks. She climbed back up, making a new pot of coffee for Bo and Luke. When Luke got up he saw her and scratched his head, he walked over to her and kissed her temple,"Morning sunshine." Lori shrugged him off and walked to the back, she dressed in a larger sized sundress and walked out with her hair up,"Im going to the lake to think, I'll be back before Little Luke gets home to fix supper." Lori snorted,"Well no sh-- shurlock ya reckon?" B.L shot Lori a glare and shook her head. Lori helped Cooter in setting him down on the couch, straightening out her jacket she looked to B.L and humphed her, heading to the back. B.L stopped her,"Were you going?" Lori rolled her eyes,"T' get my son." B.L stepped in front of Lori,"No you aint let him sleep here tonight." Lori crossed her arms looking to B.L,"Name one good reason as to why I should let him stay here." B.L looked down, truth was she couldn't think of anything. Lori smirked,"Thats what I thought...you jump to comclusions everytime you see me, you'll always think of some accusation against me." B.L looked down,"Im soory Lor, but can you honeslty blmae me?" Lori looked around,"No can't say I can, but do you think Im stupid enough to mess with YOUR man?" B.L had to laugh a little,"Reckon not." Lori patted her on the stomach and said,"Nighty nighty." B.L rolled her eyes,"Dont break that bed now and have a nasty fall." Lori stopped and laughed,"Ill try not to." Lori walked back out to Midnight Rider and climbed in, Bo was asleep. Lori looked to Luke who was dozing off too. She'd not metion the redhead, he was drunk and she DID take him by surprise. She pulled out and headed for the garage. When they arrived Lori took Luke and Bo both by the waists hoisting them on her sides, helping them up the stairs. When she got in the house she sat them on the couch and went to their bedroom and got and extra pillow and cover for Bo. She brung it back to him laying him down on the couch. She took Luke into the bedroom, heading towards the shower first, she took a quick one and walked into her's and Luke's room in her slip Luke...........

It was around Midnight and Lori could tell that the "boys" were wiped out of their minds. When she was done Todd approached her, she quickly dodged him and went to the tables,"Alright boys lets head em out!!" The men looked to her and laughed, they never seen a woman like her before trying to take 4 men into one dodge charger, drunk men at that, all at one time!! When they made no effort to move, Lori slammed her fist down on the table making them all jump,"Fellers im only gonna tell ya once more, LET'S GO!!!" Every man made a high dive fer that door, staggering over each other. When she had them herded outside, as clumsy as they was she just tiped them over into the window, Luke climbing up front. Lori climbed in and looked to them starting Midnight up. Bo slurred,"What about the general?" Luke looked to her, she saw red,"Ferget the general tonight, you can come by tomorrow and get it." Bo nodded,"Yes'um." As Lori drove to Cooter's farm the wind was warm and hitting her face causing the men to fall asleep atop of each other. Lori smirked, if only it was different times she could see her, B.L and Dixie out like this. Luke was leaning his head out the window,"ewwwww lookie at the road!!!!!!" Lori bit back laughter,"Get yer head in here, lord how mercy." Luke looked to her and smiled. When they arrived Lori helped Konrad and Cooter out their arms around her waists, B.L saw it and headed straight to kill Lori.......

After they got the bed welded together, they lugged it up to the top and began to work on it,Lori poked her head in there,"Howdy Bo, don't look so good, you feelin' alright?" Luke looked over his shoulder to Lori telling her it was a man thing. Lori nodded and smiled to Bo.Bo smiled back and said,"Yea im fine, me, Luke, and Cooter are...." Luke looked to Bo not to metion nothing to Lori yet. Lori nodded,"Ok?" She walked in picking the matress straight up Luke hesitated a little not knowing if she should be doing that. She placed the matress and shooed the men out. Luke looked to her, it was time to test her to see if she trusted him. "Lori, honey im going out with Cooter and Bo tonight, have a guys night out figure id tell ya for I left." Lori sighed and thought beofre she spoke,"Ok then. I reckon I'll be here when you get back, in fact I know I will." Luke was shocked, but didnt show it though. He got up and gave her a peck on the lips and smiled walking out. Lori let out a big sigh as she saw them leave. She turned the coffee off and sat on the couch. Hours later, Bo,Luke, and Cooter wer drunker than dogs and girls were hitting on them. The garage's phone rang and Lori answered, it was Todd. She sighed and hung up, getting ready. Little Luke was still asleep she walked in and picked him up. She called B.L who was still awake, B.L agreed to watch him and let him catch the bus there. Lori drove to Cooter's farm and dropped him off, heading towards the Boar's Nest. When she walked in everybody noticed her and clapped and hollered, Todd drug her over to him,"Glad you came." Lori shrugged him off,"Yea spose to let my boyfriend and his cousin and brother-in-law let them have a boys night out and that was screwed up." Luke noticed her and suddenly grew red,"Guys shes following me." He slurred, Cooter looked to Lori who was on stage,"Well howdy ya'll.. apparently the band didn't show up and I was the last resort." She started to sing. She looked to Luke and saw that a pretty little redhead walked over to him, setting on his knee. She could tell he was drunk. Lori kept on singing but had fire in her eyes.

Cooter fell back laughing,"Well, guess it just picked a bad time, it is ALL about timing!" Luke glared to him and retorted,"haha funny!" Lori heard B.L's comment and walked to the edge,"Yea don't I know it!!, but hey we still have the couch, counters work good too!!!" B.L fell back laughing,"OK OK cousin, we get the point!

Cooter had just hung up the phone when Luke walked in. He took one look at him and fell over laughing. Luke stopped and shook his head walking over to him, Cooter looked to him and said,"Well side show stud, did you kill her or did she kill you? as much a bangin' ya'll did up there ya'll had everyone looking at me like there was WW3 going on up there." Luke laughed and asked him," I need a favor from ya Cooter, can you uhhh help me uhhh..er.....fix...the bed?" Cooter flipped back in his chair and laughed at Luke til he couldn't breath. He then looked to Luke and threw his hand to his forehead,"AYE AYE!! captain!!" Luke glared at Cooter and followed him up the stairs to their apartment. Lori came out with one of Luke's marines shirt on, it went to her knees. She had her hair in a clip and looked to Cooter who started laughing at her, Lori turned five shades of red and smacked Cooter. Cooter looked to her and said,"Why howdy there cousin have a nasty fall??" Lori's mouth dropped open and she walked to the kitchen making Luke and Cooter a pot of coffee, she walked to the window and smiled looking out, through the curtains. Hazzard seemed so small compared to Nashville. Cooter and Luke meanwhile were getting the broken legs of the beds, snickering to each other. They picked the bed pieces up tossing them down to be welded. Luke looked in there to Lori and winked at her, she saw the bed and fell over laughing. They walked down and took the pieces to the back to the welder. Bo meanwhile pulled up to the garage hearing them in the back,"Cooter? Luke! were ya'll...." Bo saw the bed pieces and fell over laughing at Luke saying...........

Cooter was in the floor rolling around laughing. He took a big breath and hollered,"Ya'll alright up there?" Lori hollered back through pants,"U...uh-huh!!!!" Cooter was in tears laughing. Luke smiled and ripped her clothes off her. Lori gasped. She rolled him over giving him the taste of hid own medicine. hours later Luke looked to Lori,"You are aware we broke the bed right?" Lori was still atop of him," Does it look like I care baby?" Luke laughed,"No it don't....." Lori got up and walked out Little Luke saw how messed up his mommy and daddy was, he poked his head in thie bedroom,"Daddy, I heard a crash and I wondered iff mommy kilt you??" Luke...........

Lori winked at him and whispeed in his ear,"You'll just have to find out then won't you." Luke's eyes got big as he watched her strut off to the bedroom, letting her finger linger behind her in a come hither motion. Luke swallowed, he-- if this meant he'd get THIS every time they fought, they should fight more often. He followed after her closing the door. Now Cooter was down below of course after church was over. He'd missed the fight. Lori walked over to Luke and began to massage his neck, he bit his bottom lip. Lori nibbled on his neck, kissing it up and down. Luke fell back on the bed and pulled Lori down with him. She kissed him passionaltey, before stopping, and getting up. She fixed her hair up in a clip and winked to him,"Thats payback fer what you did to me along time ago." Luke swallowed hard, he could really hurt himself right now and she was the cause of it. He looked to Lori and said,"Don't you dare walk out that door." Lori did exactly what he said not to do, She left and went down to talk to Cooter. Luke..............

Lori thought and took it in to consideration,"Yes it does, sweetheart, I do trust you, its just I dont trust myself or any other woman who was as stupid as I was." Luke sighed holding her close,"you weren't the stupid one. I was. I had something good and took my chances on having something better " Lori looked up and let the tears fall again,"see there i am the stupid one, I SCREWED UP what good thing you had going." Luke chuck;ed softly to her,"that was my choice to make. All you did was show up." Lori looked up to Luke,"Yea but you didn't make the right choice though, you could've had an honest relationship, but nooo, you dummy!!! you had to throw up yer lot with the Hazzard whore!" Luke looked to Lori in shock,"Well as I'm standing right now, I think I made a good choice, no one might see it the way I do but I think I did." Lori tapped her foot and got angrier. Luke sighed and got up,"can we calm down and finish this talk or do you want a refree??" Lori smirked, and not a sexy smirk either, a plain down-right gruesome smirk, had DEATH written all over it. "You want a referee Lukas, you got one..." She pulled the frying pan out of the cupboard and twirled it around,She humphed a little and said,:"Who said a fryin pan was JUST for cooking?" Lori looked to Luke and slowy walked over to him she brung the frying pan around to knock him out, hitting his arm in the process,"Would ya cut it out!!! yer gonna kill me!!" Lori stopped,"Well dummy, thats the point!!" Luke's eyes got big and he brung his hand around to get the pan out of her hand,"Now stop it da-- it and listen to me!!" Lori stopped looking to Luke,"Now I want to ask you, You was the first girl i was ever serious with in grade school. After Robin in highschool, who was I with for two years and told every night when I called to tell you good night, that he loved you." Lori stared at him,"You did." Luke smiled,"Now, do you think that I don't love you??" Lori looked up into his sky blue eyes and said with a tear in her eye as she calmed down,"No." Luke nodded,"Alright then. Now another thing, I do still think it was a mistake me and you being together 5 years ago, AND however many months ago, And I did screw up... but I don't regret it darlin." Lori took her hands away from Luke's. Like sighed. Lori looked down and said,"why did you let me take you away?? you could've stopped me?" Luke replied,"I wasn't ready for a third child -- I felt trapped. You walked in stired up a bunch of old memories and well...." Luke grew quiet. Lori finished his statement,"You screwed up, I knew you didn't love me, and still yet you kept me around." Lori got up and headed out the door. Luke got up after her, she was just a little bit quicker than he was, She was in Midnight Rider and headed fer the post office, Luke knew as soon as he saw the car stop at the post office, what she was doing. He slammed his fist down on the banaster and walked back in. Little Luke had stayed in his room, crying and listening to his parents fight. When Lori got back and looked to him she shook her head,"TELL ME, EITHER YOU LOVE ME OR YOU DONT?? THIS IS MY LAST TIME IM EVER ARGUING WITH YOU ABOUT THIS AGAIN!" Luke..........

Lori let a tear slip,"Once you walk out those doors, I don't know if I'll ever see you again or not, there's too many women out there that can take you away in the blink of an eye. It kills me to know that Luke!" Luke...........

Lori sighed, raising her eyes thinking to herself, as she knew what he was thinking. Lori said,"Ok well the next thing on our list to discuss is trust, as fer as the moving out and waiting and helping Cooter goes, thats all fine with me. Well you let Dixie start, honey no matter what, come he-- or high water, I'll stick by yer side and I won't go down without a fearsome fight first, and as fer house sitting fer my father, no its not house sitting, he's moving back to Johnson County and he's not moving back here to Hazzard. He's leaving the deed to the house and property to me and YOU." Luke smiled,"Ok, but still I want to wait til court is over... thank god you understand and agree with me." Lori humphed him and looked down,"What now?" Luke looked to her,"Like you said, trust..we need to discuss it." Luke took Lori's hand and went to the couch with her, saying..............

Lori looked to him,"Dont snatch them out of my hands!!!" Luke looked to her,"Well if you'd stop acting like a three old I wouldn't!!!" Lori looked to him and retored,"I orta knock yer lights out!" Luke looked to her and stood up. He towered over her, gently picking her up and setting her aside, he walked out the door down to the loaner, Lori's mouth dropped open as she walked out after him,"Were are you going??" Luke rolled his eyes,"Not far I promise." Lori yelled to him,"You came back home acting like that and I'll take the frying pan to ya!!" She stormed in the house and started washing the dishes. Luke smirked, getting in to the loaner and going to the mail. Seeing Miss Tisdale there, he smiled handing her the packet. Miss Tisdale looked to Luke and nodded. Luke walked out and got in the loaner, looking to the church he saw everyone's vehicle there, he shook his head pulling out. When he returned to the garage, he saw a bright expression on Lori's face, followed by a saddened expression. She was on the phone with her father. When Luke walked over to her and put his hand on her back, she looked to him saying goodbye to her dad. When she got off she looked to Luke and told him that Lucille's mother was deathly ill and that her father and Lucille was going back to Johnson County, TN and they wanted Lori and Luke to move into her mother's house. Luke saw her bright expression, and smiled to her. He told her thought that they had to talk this out first, they had alot of things to talk about.

Lori snorted at him,"What crawled up inside of you and died?" Luke turned aroud to her,"What was that?" Lori shrugged her shoulders,"Ohh nothing, oh mighty one, don't mind little ole' me." Luke pointed at her with a stern look,"Keep it up yer asking fer it!" Lori looked to him,"What are ya gonna do sick Cooter on me?" Luke threw his hands in the air, the lovely moments at the pond had just been destroyed. He walked into the back bedroom and set down when he looked to the dresser he saw he divorce packet, he cursed,"Sh--! if Lori finds out I didn't mail those...." Lori heard her name being mentioned,"What I do now?!!" Luke hollered back to her,"Nothing queen Shebia!!" Lori flew mad and stormed into the bedroom,"YOU KEEP IT UP AND YER GONNA GET IT!!!" Luke hid the divorce papers, Lori saw them she asked,"What was that?" Luke......

Luke got up helping Lori up walking to the car. He looked out to the lake and smiled,"Memeber when I first brung ya here, taught ya how t' swim?" Lori chuckled,"How could I forget? You and Bo and Cooter taught me everything I needed to know." Luke kissed her one more time before getting in the vehicle. They drove to Cooter's farm to pick-up Little Luke. ~~~~~~~~ Cooter explained to Little Luke about why his mommy and aunts cried all the time, getting moody and what not. When Little Luke saw the loaner pull up he ran out to greet his daddy. "Howdy cousin, were's......" Lori asked looking to the window of B.L's room hearing her cry,"Lord how mercy Cooter, what'd you do to her now?" Lori asked with a smirk on her face. Cooter shook his head with an -dont even ask- look on. Lori picked up Little Luke and put him in the car. See Luke now had to be careful of what he said around Lori because one false move or word, she could now leave Hazzard, the judge had came back from his vacation weeks ago, Lori and Dixie's bonds being set. Lori was free to go anywhere. Her fans had known the reason why she never made any more public appearances, were she was pregnant. Lori and Luke pulled out heading home. When they arrived Lori sighed getting Little Luke out. She then looked to Luke, as church hadn't started that morning yet,"You want to go to church like we use too?" Luke answered.............

Lori cleaned off the kitchen table,"Well, I said good bye to having a good time when I got pregnant now didn't I?, look im sorry if I've got on yer nerves, But I have an idea... we could go to hound dog lake like we use too, now no I don't mean us, ah, you know..... but just go there and relax, maybe go swimming. Cooter can watch Little Luke for us." Luke nodded, anything to keep them from fighting. He wanted to go to the farm but decided he didnt want to argue with her about that either. They took Little Luke down to Cooter and they drove off. Arriving to Hound Dog Lake, Lori stopped the car and got out laying the blanket down in under a big oak tree.Luke smiled, at least she wasn't nagging about something. Luke sat down beside her leaning up the big oak tree. Lori asked him, setting between his legs laying back against his chest,"Why can't things be as simple as this?? No worries, no kids, go back to the way things were." Luke sighed,"I've asked myself that a many of a time too honey." Lori raised her head up to look into his eyes, and for the first time she told him,"Luke, I love you." It took him off-guard but he gently leaned down kissing her,"I love you too." They sat for long hours letting the warm sun shine on them and letting the warm air whip past them, Luke broke the silence by asking............

Lori looked through her mirror, great the cops were coming. They pulled off the side of the road, Luke looked to Lori,"What are you doing?" Lori said,"Well I definently aint running froom them, not with Little Luke in here." Luke shook his head. The cops got out and walked to the window,"Good evening ma'am, you are aware yer taillights are broken." Lori flew mad,"Well off--icer, are you aware that its the middle of broad daylight?" The cop looked to her, holding her stomach, he assumed she may have been going to the hospital. "Alright, ma'am only because yer pregnant, does that let you off the hook, I can see yer on yer way to the hospital apparently, I'll disregard that comment and drive safely." He then walked away and returned to his cruiser. Lori looked to Luke,"Aint fat huh?" Luke looked down,"Let's go home ok, for you get us arrest." Lori humphed him and drove on. They arrived at the garage and Lori stomped up the stairs and set on the couch.Luke walked in and sat on the opposite end of the couch from her, she was in a pissy mood and he didn't want to fool with her. Lori was still pissed that her son would be soo rude, she then began to clean the house up, Luke knew when she was depressed or pissed she'd clean he looked to her and said............

Little Luke was ready as well, "Daddy whats taking mommy so long?" Luke shrugged,"Dont know son, LORI!!!" Lori walked out in her underwear,"WHAT?!!!" Luke hid little Luke's eyes,"Darlin whats taking you sooo long?" Lori walked in,"Luke!! I cant wear anyhting I got!!!, I dont wanna wear maternity clothes either!!" Luke sighed,"Just wear em and come on honey!!" Lori looked to Luke and then looked to her stomach,"Hon, do I look fat?" Luke noticed she had gotten bigger.Lori was about 3-4 months pregnant now. He smiled to himself as she came out in the stretch jeans and one of her old flannel shirts she only wore when she felt sick, she let left a couple buttons un-buttoned becuse if not she'd be choked from the UP tightness of it. Luke kissed Lori's forehead, and smiled taking her hand, he could walk fine without the crutches and he did so. Lori picked Little Luke up and carried him to the car, she had borrowed a nice, quick loaner, as Luke couldn't get in Midnight Rider, They got in,Luke was happy as they drove to Atlanta. They got there and walked to the Doc's office. Lori took Luke's hand as he laid on the bed while the doc cut the cast off, once Luke was free from it, he moved his leg around it still hurt a little, but he could walk though. He got up and stood, smiling to Lori. She got up and walked over to him hugging him, they walked out and got in the vehicle. They drove back with silence, course it was broken by Little Luke asking,"Mommy why are you fat?" Lori let a tear slip,"Told ya I was fat!!" Luke looked back to Little Luke and firmly said.........
