  1. After seeing Bo look at the present and then turn directly to him, Jesse gave Bo a look that told him that it was time to mend this problem. Jesse didn't have to say a word. Bo knew what was expected of him. He could read every wrinkle and white hair on his Uncle's face. But mostly, he could see through those old eyes into Jesse's soul. What he saw was a mountain of love with a small stream of tears flowing down it because 2 of the 3 people he loved the most were struggling.

  2. Hey Daisy, It doesn't matter if 69 Chargers handle well in snow or not....the General Lee can just jump over the biggest snow drift that Michigan's ever seen. YEEEHHAWW!! Keep warm Daisy. Snuggle up with Velvet Ears.

  3. Jesse *voice sounding light and bouncy* Well, the best way to feel better when yer down is to see someone that ya love smile. *hesitates* It looks like ya might have something in yer hand there that can do the trick. I don't know about you Luke but I'm heading over to the Boar's Nest *looks for a reaction from Luke* My throat's gitting a little dry. *walks toward drivers side door of truck*

  4. Here's Uncle Jesse's recipe for baked beans from the 1983 Dukes of Hazzard "Annual" by Purnell Publishing.

    Ingredients needed PER PERSON

3 slices bread, butter, mustard, 1 egg, 225g (7.94 oz) can of baked beans, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 3 chipolata sausages

DIRECTIONS: Butter the bread on both sides, spread one side with mustard and cut each slice into 4 triangles.

Arrange the pieces, with mustard side facing inwards, overlapping around the edge of an individual ovenproof dish.

Beat the egg(s) in a bowl, stir in the beans and Worcestershire sauce and turn the mixture into the center of the bread.

Arrange the sausages on top then bake the dish at 190 C (350 F) for 20-30 minutes or until the sausages are brown and the bread crispy. Serve with a salad.

  5. Sometimes I can't tell if MaryAnne and Brian are joking or not about being mad. Even if they really do get mad at each other it's clear that they work well together as a team. They kinda remind me of Boss and Rosco. They really love each other when it all comes down to it.....and us Hazzard folks love them too.....

  6. Here's the correct answer streak. DoubleX has 24 in a row right. DaisyMae has 12 in a row right (but might have 15 in a row if she got these last 3. I'll wait to give other folks a chance to answer them too)

Remember, if anybody wants to double check my accuracy on these streak numbers, I always appreciate it.

  7. Jesse *lowers chin and looks at Luke with caring and wise eyes* Welllll, of course it matters, why wouldn't it? You boys have had spats in the past, this couldn't be that bad. *face turns stern* Now, yer either gonna tell me all about it right here and now or yer gonna hop in dat there stock car and race on over ta the Boar's nest and see if he's there. Now which one's it gonna be young man?

  8. Uncle Jesse never gets into fights because he knows that he has the potential to hurt somebody really bad if he hits them. He's like a ninja---don't use your skills unless you life (or somebody else's) depends on it. Uncle Jesse the ninja....LOL.

Laura, I liked the way you imitated Waylon. That was very creative. I could almost hear Waylon's voice.....

  9. John Schneider is in USA Today (Feb 5, Life section) The story features how much work his new manager is finding for him. His manager's name is Steven Jensen. Hmmm, is there a connection here? He sounds like a good 'ol Hazzard boy.
