  1. I'm not sure how much those zombie flippers were suffering from Murphy's Law and how much was just poor decision making. It sounds like it was a little of both.
  2. Are we voting for it? My vote is Denver's birthday, May 11 if we are. Maybe we should look up the date the cast first met in Conyers.
  3. Ford (It's been awhile since I've seen one.....Ford Pinto that is....I hear there is a 2021 version, I saw a Maverick the other day sitting on a trailer in someone's yard)
  4. Murphy's Law.....lol.....this Murphy guy was he a race car driver? (Hmm, that was from One Armed Bandits, wasn't it?)
  5. Cool Skipper! I'd give you an emoji but it's telling me I've used my limit.....please give me a sad face.
  6. I agree with most of what you are saying but despite the cartoon's faults I loved them and thought they were worth every penny. Maybe having them travel the world was Warner Brothers way of attracting a larger world-wide audience. If that was their strategy it would have worked better in season 2 and not season 5. It would have been awesome if they would have stayed in Hazzard. Still, I bet Hoss likes the ones that were based in his neighborhoods, including the Christmas episode.
  7. Being normal would be pretty boring so be thankful you're not normal Hobie. I bet I have a lot more things that make me "not normal" than you do. That's why people like being around me...,I'm not boring.
  8. Happy birthday on Monday March 1st Daisy. I sure hope Boss gives you the day off. After 42 years of waiting on tables in high heels your feet must be killing you. We love you and hope you have great birthday.
  9. I just watched a 1962 episode of Beverly Hillbillies. It featured Flatt and Scruggs. They visited the mansion and even sung their song at the doorstep. Jethro's mother was there and thought they were going to fight over her because they did 20 years ago but they were both married. I thought of you Hobie because I knew they used to live near you or something. I knew they sang the theme song but never knew they were on an entire episode.
  10. I still haven't heard what it was all about. My lower back is killing me. I went to the chiropractor yesterday but it hasn't helped. That was my first trip there in two years.
  11. It's easy to make a comment. What you're doing is hard....and quite impressive.
  12. We were getting ready to leave to get our taxes done this morning when we heard a siren. That's a pretty rare sound around here because we live on a dirt road that gets very few cars. I looked out the window and saw a vehicle flying down the road. A state cop was in hot pursuit, and then a second patrol SUV, then a third patrol SUV. There was a 5 second gap and then a fourth patrol SUV. We watched the local tv news programs and they never mentioned anything so I still don't know what it was but I'll bet that meth was involved. I don't think I've ever witnessed a police hot pursuit before....at least I can't remember. Of course I've been thinking about Hazzard County all day because of it. I'll update you if I found out what happened. I'm a bit happy it wasn't on the news because that means nobody got hurt.
  13. I just checked my notebook. The first episode of season 2 is where I have this listed "Shorty's All Night Rib Shack and Pool Hall on Swamp Road". On season 5 episode 6 I have listed "All Night Pizza Parlor on Frontage Road". On season 4 episode episode 25 and season 5 episode 7 I have listed "All Night Supermarket on Frontage Road" I do have a Hazzard Hospital listed on season 5 episode 17. Bear in mind that some of the episode numbers could be off by one depending on whether or not a two parter was listed as one episode.
  14. Thanks Hoss. Leave it to Cooter to keep up the Dukes tradition!
  15. I actually thought about that. An all night pizza place just didn't seem to fit Hazzard. Around here, all night convenient store/gas stations started popping in Hazzard sized towns around 30 years ago but now most of them are closed between midnight and 5am. I'm not sure if anyplace around here has an all night pizza shop. Maybe Erie Pennsylvania with 100,000.
  16. I just finished my Vilkings series.....6 seasons in less than 2 months. It was pretty amazing and kept me wanting more. I wouldn't be surprised if the Duke family had some Viking in them. They are pretty adventurous. The only thing I can remember from the show is they had relatives from England so the Dukes may be more related to HossC than Ragnar Lothbrok.
