  2. Interesting. Does Disney still own the property where some of the rural scenes were filmed? Of the 3 places you listed which one was used more?
  3. Great to have you Danny. Tell us more about your love of Dukes. How long you been a fan? Do you have Dukes toys, DVDs, autographs, etc.? Met any of the stars? Have a favorite character, episode, season, scene? Tell us everything.
  4. I agree about it being nasty. The strange thing is that the original was just the opposite of nasty and it is not permitted to be on the air and the movie version is on all the time. That's some pretty twisted logic. I should add that the Georgia episodes had some PG-13 stuff in there but adjustments were made to appeal to a wider audience. And those adjustments helped to make Dukes the greatest show in TV history.
  5. Thanks Hoss...Close but no cigar. (Do they have that term across that big pond?)
  6. I found this interesting bit of trivia. Here is part of the Bible verse 1 Samuel 16:11. And Samuel said to Jesse, "Are all the young men here?" Then he said, "There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep."........ In this verse Jesse is not the shepherd, David is....But it is still cool that a shepherd and a guy named Jesse are in the same passage. Since Uncle Jesse loved the Good Book, he would have liked this verse.
  7. Thanks for all you do MM. I haven't been having any login issues but I know Hobie has.
  8. University (Wasn't the magician on Frosty the Snowman named Professor Hinkley too?)
  9. What a strange day. It snowed here up on Lake Erie, quite a bit in fact. But the ground was so warm that it melted as soon as it hit. That's weird but not real weird for here. My daughter lives in northern Virginia and it snowed enough to turn the place into a winter wonderland....and that is extremely rare for south of the Mason Dixon line in mid April.
  10. What an excellent question. I never thought about that.
  11. brain (legend has it that owls are so wise because they eat the brains of their prey)
  12. Cool stuff. I pity the fool who doesn't love the A-Team.
  13. Happy birthday today Cousin Coy. Hope you're having a good one. Thanks for still being heavily involved with the show by going to so many Dukes events. YEEHAWW@
  14. I do remember that. I loved the A-Team. The only shows I ever loved were Dukes, A-Team, Charlie's Angels, Dallas and Stingray. I still put the Stingray DVDs in on occasion. The only modern show I ever liked was Duck Dynasty. Dukes is the only show I never got tired of and never will.
  15. John Schneider is your friend? LOL He turned 62 on April 7.
  16. Happy Easter everybody!
  17. Elmer FUDGE
  18. I turned 62 today (Fri). Since I am now eligible to collect Social Security I guess that makes me a senior citizen. I was born on a Good Friday and became an old man on a Good Friday.

  21. Let's start this over again. Remember that it has to be Hazzard related. Somebody start with an A.
  22. Tomorrow (Thursday) the Queen of Country Music turns 90 years young. It sure would have been nice if she would have been tricked by a detour or caught in a speed trap more than once but the one time she did was one of the best Dukes episodes ever. We love you Miss Loretta. You are and always will be our beautiful queen.
  23. train (The Cowboy Troy song "I play chicken with the train")
  24. I wish I could think of the name of that old country song where the woman turned it around on the guy....."Now let's see what I give you". I think it started out with the singer saying something to the girl like "You look like a possible 8. You and me can make 18 if your head's on straight"
  25. pace
