lmao one of the reasons Bo was away from two episodes, dont remember which ones, was because John had gone to watch a NASCAR race. I read that and it cracked me up, I'm not going to work today not because I'm ill or doing a project because I wanna go see a race. Sheesh we'd all get fired, only John could pull that off :-D

But, Bo's memory wasn't serving him right, in fact he hardly remembered anything at all about what had happened that day. All he could remember was having arguments with someone, a man, and Cassie was there. The next several hours were all a blur to him. At the time he had been battaling the pain because his older cousin depended on him to get him out, but that didn't mean the pain wasn't there. He remembered the gun shot going of, and then snatches of things happening that made no sense...then the next thing he knew he was in the hospital with his family around him....all except Luke of course who was with Cassie. And that was when Bo had begun the year of fear and a little hate of Cassie. He was scared not because she pulled the trigger, he knew it was the guy who had done that and he would have no qualms about punching his teeth down his throat if he ever saw him again, no siree. No, it was the fact that she seemed to have had something to do with it and that's what he had told the police when they had questioned him from his hospital bed. Also what scared him most was the power that she held over Luke...yes, that was what scared him the most. Normally there was nothing Luke wouldn't put before his family, but Cassie was usually an exception. Unless the situation got serious, it was always Cassie and Bo hated it. Cassie could make Luke do anything she wanted and there would be nothing that anyone could do to stop him where she was involved which was where the hate had derived from too. He hated her apparent manipulative ways, turning Luke into the person that Bo didn't know anymore. He wanted his big brother back, and as far as he was concerned Cassie had taken that from him and that was something he would never be able to get back. It wasn't long before word of what happened reached the circuit, and Bo felt a deep sense of satisfaction at it...but also the little doubt that always nagged at his mind. Cassie had never been a really great friend to him as Cooter had done, no, but she had been there...they had even gotten serious at one point as everyone so liked to remind him. But the feelings he had felt over so many years were just too hard to ignore and the doubt was quashed again.

Meanwhille, Bo was already on the track and working hard with his new team, too busy to think about anything going on either back at home or anywhere else for that matter outside of the track. He was happy, carefree and doing what he loved most in life.

Yup, John was busted for speeding again: - April 21st, 2007 - John Schneider - "television's original Bo Duke" was recently caught racing on the highway in his personal "General Lee", the orange 69 Dodge Charger featured in television's "The Dukes of Hazzard". Schneider, 47, was in Nashville promoting his new film "Collier & Co. Hot Pursuit" when the temptation to put the powerful Hemi to work got the best of him. He was busted for 128 mph in a 75 zone. Yesterday the courtroom erupted in laughter when the judge suggested that he transfer the case to "Hazzard County" - the fictional township that his tv character Bo Duke was often busted for speeding in. John must take an online Driving Course within the next 30 days and pay court costs - but to a real court and not "Boss Hogg." We wish him well on his driving test - as it does not require any 360 degree turns or a 200 foot Jump over a river. We just hope they have the internet in Hazzard County.

Ah yeah I see your point and I take back what I said, BUT I do point out that with my quote Duke fought Duke, so not every Duke was a confederate and not every Duke was a whatever the other side was (lmao). Bo and Luke's origins probably come from the confederate side of the family since they live in the south,. I mean the Dukes have relatives in England for pete's sake lol. So yeah, I see he said it, but then again the Dukes arn't limited to just Bo, Luke, Daisy and Jesse remember, you got many many generations before that. I also say it because, the Duke Farm has also been in their family for generations, therefore its likely that Bo and Luke have the confed history. :-)

No he never said that! Some of the Dukes fought against the confederacy as proved by the carnival of thrills quote: Duke ain't fought Duke since the war between the states, but he never said that in the first episode. I dont think that that was ever mentioned in the first epsiode :-S

Urm...I'm not sure but yes I believe he was. Maybe he was just a guy in the background or something I don't know but I'm pretty sure he was. I know he was in Dr Quinn Medicine Woman too though...

Have you noticed though no one cares the car was called The General Lee which everyone knows stood for Robert E. Lee, who was a major part of the confed army? No, its all about the flag. The reason they had it was because they have heritage from there. The balladeer actually said in carnival of thrills that Duke ain't fought Duke since the war between the states. Their family was a part of that war, and so it makes sense to want to have the flag on the car alongside the name of what they would consider to be one of the greatest general's of all time. It was all about their family pride, if they had come from somewhere else and showing their pride for their family with the stars and stripes no one would give two hoots. Its all just a ridiculous battle of political correctness gone stupid. If someone wants to fly the confed flag than thats up to them, if someone wants to put it on their car its up to them. I personally am sick and tired of these groups making such a big deal out of it. Its someone's heritage, its what they grew up with, flipping well leave it alone. How would they like it if someone somewhere came along and said you cant fly the stars and stripes or to us in England you can't fly the union jack or st george's cross because we find it offensive. Bet you there'd be a bigger uproar then huh?

Jesse sighed and shook his head, wishing as he had done ever since this whole thing had started nearly a year ago that his family would get back to the way it had been before. But it seemed that everything had been ripped at the seams and there wasn't a single person who had the power to sew it all back up again...not even himself. Slowly he stood up and headed for the stairs, pausing before turning round and saying to Luke's back which was now turned to him. "I want ya to know....that I love ya...an' that i'll do everythin' I can ta help ya, like I have done ever since ya were just a little tyke...since that night ya arrived on my doorstep without a friend in the world...an' i'll always do that Luke...I ain't the bad guy here...no matter how much ya think I am..." I'd have to say Yes but on a couple of conditions. 1. That the actors who played the boys actually maybe talked to Tom and John about their characters and watched the Dukes to see how they acted and stuff. The thing about the other two movies is that you can't sympathize with the characters because they are nothing like the Bo and Luke we love. There wasn't any relationship between the two on stage in either, whereas Tom and John's just seemed to happen naturally. 2. They definitly removed the horrible horrible sexual inuendos in the movie. They just don't work, there is no way Uncle Jesse would go around doing what he does and says in those movies although I have to say the second one was a lot better than the first. 3. The actors overall actually have knowledge of the Dukes and have the guts to stand up to the writers and say when something is wrong about what they are doing. Not one of the actors in the movie seemed to understand at all what the Dukes is about and the writers and director sure didn't either. 4. They took it back to how the Dukes really was. A family show with morals and ethics but also with a lot of good, clean humour that is so much funnier than the rude jokes they have in the movies. John and Tom had the ability to make the smallest things a joke to have us giggling for ages. For example one thing that always gets me in Double Sting is when Rosco goes into his office and Luke's just attached the chair wheels to the door and Luke actually goes 'Hee hee'. That gets me everytime. Its small things like that that are so innocent that make the audeince laugh, not these pathetic jokes that to be honest (and no offense meant to anyone who is not this, I do understand that this is not always the case) 99.9 percent of the time its only the really immature, hormone crazed teenagers that actually want to see something like that. The thing about the sibilings wouldn't really matter so much because in the show it seems like they are all siblings anyway. If you asked someone to watch a scene where Bo, Luke and Daisy are all together as a family where not one of them says 'Cousin' (not many I know lol) then I dont think anyone would pick up that they weren't siblings unless you told them or until they said cousin. So yeah, that's be cool to see. Especially between Bo and Luke I think. That's my rant over lol

Jesse sighed and scrubbed a hand down his face, he didn't know what to tell Luke about Cassie and his opinions that he hadn't already heard. "Now if ya ask me, that Cassie Morgan is trouble and if anything she's proved it with all this...you can say all ya like that it ain't her fault but are ya sure ya ain't just makin' excuses...to kid yerself....from my point of view, she's already helped me nearly lose my youngest boy last year and now actually has...and now i'm gonna lose my oldest because he's goin' to jail probably for the rest of his life...I couldn't accept her inta the family Luke...i'll help ya try an' clear her name if ya say it should be cleared...but I can't give ya the acceptance ya want from me...it's be goin' against everythin' I was raised with...."

General wasn't 11 years old at the time of Carnival of Thrills as in season 7 Happy Birthday, its his 8th birthday. Therefore in carnival of thrills, General Lee would have been only 4 years old but even so 32,000 seems fairly low...i'm not sure. You have to remember that the car was totally rebuilt from the engine up by Bo and Luke in the flashback in Happy Birthday and so the miles would have been reset when they put the new engine in.

Jessie sighed as Luke pulled away and shook his head as he kicked the wall. With an attitude like that, Luke could be stabbed twice and beaten up after not even a day being in the State Pen. Swallowing gently when he realised Luke still didn't know about Bo, Jesse looked to the young man and said gently. "Luke...Bo left...to go back ta NASCAR...he's moved some of his stuff out the farm and said....he'd consider coming back when the cousin he had before Cassie came along was back....and he also reflected that...the cousin he's talking about might never be back again...I'm gonna try an' do everythin' I can ya know that youngin'....but just what I can do is beyond me..."

Jesse sighed, nodding gently. "He could....but...that's gonna take...a lot of time to catch a criminal who don't wanna be caught an' with Bo gone....its just me an' Daisy now, an' we still have ta run a farm an' the like...and then even after that there's not garuntee that Cassie or you is gonna be released...you really dug yourself in good this time Luke...this is...way over my head..."

For Bo, life hadn't been as simple and peaceful as this for many many months now. The noises didn't scare him anymore,..okay so maybe the occasional twig snapping made him a little jumpy but he didn't break out into a panic attack anymore and the sounds of the water and his cousins mucking around with their best friends didn't make him want to run and hide either. No, for once life was simple for him again...well as simple as it ever got in Hazzard County anyhow.

Jesse sighed and walked over to the bars, kneeling down and reaching through to hold Luke's hand. "Luke....because, busting out a prisoner of the local law who we know an' can prove ain't guilty but a victim of unjust law is different to busting out a wanted STATE criminal...who has been proved guilty by a jury...Luke...we could have sorted this all legal like...if you had evidence that she didn't play a part in any o'that...but now, how're ya gonna do that behind bars....you got a near life sentence now Luke...."

It didn't take long for Jesse to arrive at the prison, his heart heavy as he thought about what was going to happen and all because of one girl who Luke had set his heart on. Shaking his head at how much destruction one person could cause, he headed into the jailhouse, walking straight past Rosco who didn't een bat an eyelid as Jesse strode in looking completly weary and downtrodden. Jesse headed down to the cells and stopped in the doorway as he saw Luke sitting on the floor of his cell, shaking his head as he stepped into the room and saying, his voice thick with emotion. "Luke..."
