I'd have to say Yes but on a couple of conditions. 1. That the actors who played the boys actually maybe talked to Tom and John about their characters and watched the Dukes to see how they acted and stuff. The thing about the other two movies is that you can't sympathize with the characters because they are nothing like the Bo and Luke we love. There wasn't any relationship between the two on stage in either, whereas Tom and John's just seemed to happen naturally. 2. They definitly removed the horrible horrible sexual inuendos in the movie. They just don't work, there is no way Uncle Jesse would go around doing what he does and says in those movies although I have to say the second one was a lot better than the first. 3. The actors overall actually have knowledge of the Dukes and have the guts to stand up to the writers and say when something is wrong about what they are doing. Not one of the actors in the movie seemed to understand at all what the Dukes is about and the writers and director sure didn't either. 4. They took it back to how the Dukes really was. A family show with morals and ethics but also with a lot of good, clean humour that is so much funnier than the rude jokes they have in the movies. John and Tom had the ability to make the smallest things a joke to have us giggling for ages. For example one thing that always gets me in Double Sting is when Rosco goes into his office and Luke's just attached the chair wheels to the door and Luke actually goes 'Hee hee'. That gets me everytime. Its small things like that that are so innocent that make the audeince laugh, not these pathetic jokes that to be honest (and no offense meant to anyone who is not this, I do understand that this is not always the case) 99.9 percent of the time its only the really immature, hormone crazed teenagers that actually want to see something like that. The thing about the sibilings wouldn't really matter so much because in the show it seems like they are all siblings anyway. If you asked someone to watch a scene where Bo, Luke and Daisy are all together as a family where not one of them says 'Cousin' (not many I know lol) then I dont think anyone would pick up that they weren't siblings unless you told them or until they said cousin. So yeah, that's be cool to see. Especially between Bo and Luke I think. That's my rant over lol

But fact o'the matter is Luke, if Bo has a reason ta be scared o'Cassie an' what she can do then somethin' you's heard about that incident ain't right. If things went as ya say they did, Bo wouldn't be runnin' out o'Hazzard never to return at just the sound of her name..." Jessie sighed. "I didn't say I was givin' up on her boy, i'll help ya clear her name if ya say an' can find proof that she should be cleared...but ya gotta do a lot better than hearin' it from her mouth an' Bo won't talk about it. Bo's fears arn't born from nothin' an' there used ta be a time you's notice that an' see somethin' is wrong...but she's got ya so blinded that ya can't or won't see that no more..."

Jessie nodded, saddened by the lack of any emotion in Luke about what was happening. "Luke....you know i've never not backed ya up on anything son...but this time I think yer makin' a big mistake...look at how much trouble that girl caused in the first place...the biggest piece of this whole mess being how your relationship with Bo was affected. He didn't leave because of Cassie....he left through fear of what could happen with her around...he saved her life Luke...Enos told me Bo went in a made her throw up until most of the overdose was out her system before he took off as soon as Enos got there...he's scared of what she'll have done to him, but most importantly of what she's gonna do to you...and now I can see that he has a right to be worried...you don't think clear when yer around her...but in his view, the further away and more busy he is, the less it is of his problem because he isn't thinking about it...outta sight outta mind." Jesse sighed and scrubbed a hand down his face, he didn't know what to tell Luke about Cassie and his opinions that he hadn't already heard. "Now if ya ask me, that Cassie Morgan is trouble and if anything she's proved it with all this...you can say all ya like that it ain't her fault but are ya sure ya ain't just makin' excuses...to kid yerself....from my point of view, she's already helped me nearly lose my youngest boy last year and now actually has...and now i'm gonna lose my oldest because he's goin' to jail probably for the rest of his life...I couldn't accept her inta the family Luke...i'll help ya try an' clear her name if ya say it should be cleared...but I can't give ya the acceptance ya want from me...it's be goin' against everythin' I was raised with...."

General wasn't 11 years old at the time of Carnival of Thrills as in season 7 Happy Birthday, its his 8th birthday. Therefore in carnival of thrills, General Lee would have been only 4 years old but even so 32,000 seems fairly low...i'm not sure. You have to remember that the car was totally rebuilt from the engine up by Bo and Luke in the flashback in Happy Birthday and so the miles would have been reset when they put the new engine in.

Jessie sighed as Luke pulled away and shook his head as he kicked the wall. With an attitude like that, Luke could be stabbed twice and beaten up after not even a day being in the State Pen. Swallowing gently when he realised Luke still didn't know about Bo, Jesse looked to the young man and said gently. "Luke...Bo left...to go back ta NASCAR...he's moved some of his stuff out the farm and said....he'd consider coming back when the cousin he had before Cassie came along was back....and he also reflected that...the cousin he's talking about might never be back again...I'm gonna try an' do everythin' I can ya know that youngin'....but just what I can do is beyond me..."

Jesse sighed, nodding gently. "He could....but...that's gonna take...a lot of time to catch a criminal who don't wanna be caught an' with Bo gone....its just me an' Daisy now, an' we still have ta run a farm an' the like...and then even after that there's not garuntee that Cassie or you is gonna be released...you really dug yourself in good this time Luke...this is...way over my head..."

For Bo, life hadn't been as simple and peaceful as this for many many months now. The noises didn't scare him anymore,..okay so maybe the occasional twig snapping made him a little jumpy but he didn't break out into a panic attack anymore and the sounds of the water and his cousins mucking around with their best friends didn't make him want to run and hide either. No, for once life was simple for him again...well as simple as it ever got in Hazzard County anyhow.

Jesse sighed and walked over to the bars, kneeling down and reaching through to hold Luke's hand. "Luke....because, busting out a prisoner of the local law who we know an' can prove ain't guilty but a victim of unjust law is different to busting out a wanted STATE criminal...who has been proved guilty by a jury...Luke...we could have sorted this all legal like...if you had evidence that she didn't play a part in any o'that...but now, how're ya gonna do that behind bars....you got a near life sentence now Luke...."

It didn't take long for Jesse to arrive at the prison, his heart heavy as he thought about what was going to happen and all because of one girl who Luke had set his heart on. Shaking his head at how much destruction one person could cause, he headed into the jailhouse, walking straight past Rosco who didn't een bat an eyelid as Jesse strode in looking completly weary and downtrodden. Jesse headed down to the cells and stopped in the doorway as he saw Luke sitting on the floor of his cell, shaking his head as he stepped into the room and saying, his voice thick with emotion. "Luke..."

Daisy smiled happily before pulling away and starting to go for a swim, gliding eaisly through the water.

Jesse sighed and nodded, going to his truck and getting in as he said. "Thanks Enos....Thanks fer tellin' me..an' tryin' ta help..." Without waiting for a reply, Jesse shut the door and headed for the jailhouse, wondering how on earth he was going to manage to sort all this out with just him and Daisy...that is if Daisy even wanted to help seeing as she practically felt the same way about Cassie as Bo did.

Daisy smiled up at him before kissing his cheek and resting her head on his chest. She loved to be like this with Luke sometimes, just to feel her older cousin with her, protecting her even though she didn't need protecting.

In a way I do and In a way I dont like the commercials. I dont because of the interruption but I do because they do it on cliffhangers and it makes you all geared up to find out what happens even though you know what's going to happen lol

Jesse paled slightly as Enos told him what was going on. He knew Luke had been dead set on helping Cassie but he had trusted the boy not to do anything foolish...which was obviously a mistake. He had given the young woman a chance to prove that she wouldn't be so badly influencial on his family again, but now Bo had left and Luke was facing a long prison sentence.... "I want to see him Enos.."

Daisy laughed, wrapping her arm around Luke's waist. "Ain't our fault your cousin's sleepin'."

Daisy spluttered and laughed as she surfaced and saw Luke dunk B.L before splashing her back as she splashed Luke before indicating her older cousin to pick B.L. up with her.

Rosco shook his head and said truthfully. "A very good lawyer..." Sighing Rosco pulled into town and let Luke out the car, taking him inside and locking him in one of the holding cells downstairs before going to call the state police and the hospital to see how Cassie was doing.

Daisy laughed watching the two before dunking B.L. "NO one picks on my cousin and dunks him 'cept me..."

Daisy stripped down to hers too and was the first one to dive into the water from the rock that hung over it on the right side of the pond, gasping a little as she came up at the shock of the cold water but smiling.

Hey! Not that John goes on here, but Happy Birthday to John Schneider the one and only Bo Duke that will ever be accepted :-)

Daisy smiled up at him softly before the finished the song, seeing Cooter deeply asleep and Bo just gently dozing as the sunlight shone on him and made his hair shine like gold. "Well...they're asleep...shall we go fer a swim?"

I know all the lyrics to three different versions, The original on the show Waylon Jenning's one with the different ending And the one sung by TOm, John and Cathy :-) Its such a great song, all three versions. Tom: Just two good ol' Boys John: But never meaning no harm... Tom: (spoken) wouldn't change if we could... John: (spoken) That too lol I love it.

Rosco swallowed gently and sighed, focusing on driving more as he answered. "I'm sorry Luke....you broke the law...you really did this time an' I gotta arrest ya....fer one Boss'd have my badge if I didn't an' also the state police would be lookin' fer me too....I'm sorry Luke, I never wanted you boys to ever end up like this but....but you done put yerself in this position...ain't no one else done it fer ya..."

Well I've also heard it named Old Mill Road too...well its all got Mill in it somewhere so maybe the folks of Hazzard just have different nicknames for it that all. Because of Mill Pond though I'd have to go with Mill Pond Road too :-)
