  1. I'd like permission to use some of ya'lls characters in my story please? I am trying to get B.L. aquainted with the folks around hazzard so if I could please use some of your characters I'd be much obliged. I'd be pleased as punch though if you yourselves would add to the story introducing your characters to her. You can respond here or PM me with your wishes. Thanks Brandy
  2. Oh boy this is a hard one for me. When I was a kid it was Bo all the way. Now that I'm older I can appreciate them all but I'd have to say the list for me goes as follows. 1.Bo 2.Luke 3.Daisy 4.Cooter 5.Uncle Jesse/Enos 6.Rosco 7.Boss Hogg 8.Cletus 9.Coy/Vance Brandy
  3. Val I grew up with my Dad and Grampa raising beef cows, but I must say we never had any strange parts of the cow in our freezer! At my table it was hamburger, and steak (of all varieties) but never tounge, brains or organs of any kind. Of course I wouldn't have ate it if we'd had such things cos that's just gross (holds throat and makes gagging noise). I am strange lol I don't eat steak so give me a burger any ol time. I order mine funny too lol if hamburger steak isn't on the menu I sometimes order a hamburger meat only no bread or any other stuff on it. I like just ketchup to dip it in,not a steak sauce person either. If there's hamburger steak on the menu I still want it plain no onions or peppers for me just meat and a bottle of ketchup. Brandy
  4. So for over an hour Cooter and B.L. talked about everything from what was going on currently in Hazzard to B.L.'s schooling at Georgia state and her vet internship at Doc Weatherbee's at home in Coreyville (the hazzard county seat we learn in duke of duke). Looking at her watch B.L. stands saying "I'd better go I want to start looking for a place to live and a place to open my vet clinic. Cooter gets up to go back to working on Homer's car "Alrighty we'll see ya around don't be a stranger now ya hear." Waving as she exits the garage B.L. calls "I won't and you come see me when I get a place to hang my hat." Cooter calls back as B.L. is ready to step into the streed "We'll do." Cue somebody
  5. Thanks Daney glad you like it. Looks like I may have to move it to the Stories in progress section though. I'm getting lots of reads but noone is adding to it. Now how can B.L. get a proper welcome home if ya'll other great writers don't help me out. Thanks for reading though Brandy
  6. Thank you Brian for your condolences it's been over a week and I'm still in shock at the loss,we grew up only living a few miles apart and played togethr as kids and both our Dad's were members of the town volunteer fire department. You are so right though there is just no excuse for drinking even one drink and then driving. I have a neighbor that occasionally has a drink but when he does he does NOT get behind the wheel. As a matter of fact there was a get together at his house a couple years ago which I was unable to attend but my sister went and because him and his siblings had been drinking not alot but still drinking my sister drove their grandmother home with one of them going along to show her the way. Brandy
  7. McClintock is another one of my favorites, pretty much give me a John Wayne and I'm a happy camper as long as it's a western and not one of his war movies I don't like those. Brandy
  8. B.L stops just inside the garage door watching Cooter under the hood of a green sedan. Suddenly grinning mischeviously she drops a nearby wrench on the floor with a clang causing Cooter to jump and bang his head on the inside of the sedan's hood raising up rubbing his head he grins as he sees B.L "Mother dog girl you scared the daylights outta me. How you been?" hugging B.L. "How's that brother of yours and your Mama?" B.L. returns the hug chuckling"I been doing just fine Cooter. Oh Mama's ok and L.B. is as busy as ever at the garage. How 'bout yourself?" Cooter shrugs "can't complain I reckon." Cooter pulls up an extra chair by his desk "take a seat so we can catch up." As B.L. sits down in the offered chair she looks skeptically at the car with the raised hood inclining her head toward it." Don't you gotta finish somebody might need their car." Cooter regards the car shaking his head as he sits in his desk chair, "Nah ol' Homer won't mind a slight delay." Cue anyone
  9. Brian let's not be too hasty the Coy and Vance episodes are tolerable but only because we know Bo and Luke come back for the final episodes of that season. Brandy
  10. I see that at least my story has been read by some wasn't sure if it was even worth reading. Let me know what you think here pleaase pretty please give me some feedback. B.L.
  11. Note: please tell me what you think even if you don't add to the story this will be my character around the forum. It's one of them nice spring days in Hazzard, the trees are a gettin their leaves and the flowers are a blooming. Well lookie yonder there comes somebody looks to me like a stranger to town let's take a closer look. Oh that ain't no stranger that there pretty little filly is 22 year old Brandy Lou Davenport or B.L. for short that's L.B. Davenports little sister. B.L. pulled into hazzard square by the movie theater wondering if anybody besides her cousin Cooter would remember her. It had been a while since she'd been to Hazzard having gone off to college to become a veternarian. Stepping out of her midnight blue 1969 cougar with the field of stars on the hood and star gazer scrawled under them. Taking a deep breath she looks around smiling to herself. Saying to noone in particular and not really loud enough for others to hear "well I see not much has changed around here either same as home." Grabbing her purse and readjusting the gallous of her overalls B.L walks across the square toward Hazzard Garage anxious to see her cousin again. cue anyone
  12. I looove westerns grew up on them. My Dad has gosh I don't know how many john waynes that's our favorites. A few I like are 1.She wore a yellow ribbon 2 big jake (my all time fave john wayne) 4 the fighting kentuckian 5 rio bravo 6 rio lobo 7 the sacketts 8 the cowboys 9 the shadow riders (also a sacketts movie if you haven't seen it) There's lots more but I can't remember them right now. Brandy
  13. I agree he made a mistake and should deal with it and then I think all should be forgiven and forgotten. I just lost a classmate about two weeks ago to a drunk driver accident,he was just 2 months shy of his 26th birthday and although his family and friends are upset with the circumstances that doesn't mean the drunk driver shouldn't be forgiven he made a mistake. Although I'm sure it's going to take the family a very long time to come to terms with things and even think of forgiving the guy even if it's only in their hearts that they get to offer forgiveness. You just shouldn't drink and drive and anyone who makes the choice to do so is making a very bad judgement call. Brandy
  14. Yeah boy that driver switching in Mary Kaye's Baby is my favorite blooper lol. I've noticed Rosco's ring being turquoise but never paid that much attention that it's a black onyx before it totally disappears. Brandy
  15. I second Val's statement ya oughta be scorin this stuff. Us judges are playin follow the leader tryin to keep up with you two! Brandy
  16. I listen to mostly country the old stuff and the new it's what I was raised on. Listen to a little bit of the golden oldies too. Brandy

  19. Hmm I'll have to watch that episode again on the computer so I can get real close to the screen and pause it. I've not seen anything like that at least I don't recall seeing any such thing right now but I did notice in one of the episodes can't remember which right now but one of the first few seasons John has on a wedding band on his left hand ring finger. It's the only time you ever see it so he must have just forgot to pull it off. Brandy
  20. Very nice indeed, I thought I had it made with a laptop but goolleey I need me one of them there phones if I could get cellphone service from most of my relatives homes. Brandy
  21. Thanks for the info Daney I'll check it out. I think I'm going to start my own Dukes marathon with my dvd's and watch from season one all the way to the end of season 5. There are some episodes I've skipped watching them randomly and I can't remember what they were except I know I've skipped most of season 4. My original plan was to snag a capture of these signs and then crop the scenes to make welcome and logoff screens for my doh desktop theme but after crashing last week while trying and being without till today I don't think I'm going to do that now. Brandy
  22. Maryanne I'm rather confused myself and I'm not even a contestant!!! LOL Brandy
  23. oh ok,guess I was watching smurfs, flinstones and jetsons then.. Brandy

  25. Sounds good to me just adds a little more spice to the dish. I'd like a copy if you please. Brandy
