I don't remember in detail my first viewing of the Dukes of Hazzard but I do remember I'd been watching the Incredible Hulk and loved it but then when it was replaced by Dukes guess that's when I got into them. I have loved the show ever since! Brandy

I guess you can say I'm still the new gal in town I've been around since I think back in November. I feel like I've been here right from the beginning so don't really remember when I joined anymore! I'll volunteer to help out, I'm still kind of new around town but have been reading the forums and really enjoying myself at some of the antics that goes on around here and would very much like to be a part of them.

10 random things about me hmm..... 1. The characters of DOH was my imaginary friends/enemies as the case may be in the 80's. 2.I have a 2 year old chiuahua named Hoss when I went through my Bonanza phase until DOH started showing on CMT. 3. I catch myself daydreaming about the Dukes and running my own episodes in my head. 4. We are looking for a new preacher at my church and the guy who tried out this past Sunday was named Luke and my mind immediately jumped to Luke Duke (bad me should have been paying better attention hehe in my defense I couldnt help it I'm a dukeaholic). 5. On a trip to gulf shores after thanksgiving this year with my two aunts recently widowed grandmother,two cousins and mom we played the alphabet game my 14yr old cousin on her round said she was going to LSU and taking Luke and when I asked Luke who out of curiosity she said Luke Duke and it's her brother who is the DOH fan. 6. In the same game I took Bo to Biloxi then we met Luke at LSU LOL. 7.I have no idea who the rock/rap/pop singers are when I hear their names. I listen to nothing but country except a little of the oldies from the 50's and 60's 8. I at one time hated old fashioned petunias when they overtook all the other flowers in my flower bed but have suddenly grown sentimental about them because they were my deceased grampa's favorite flowers. 9.I am such a dukeholic that I have downloaded a doh desktop theme and installed it on my computer so I can still see and hear the dukes when I'm on the computer. 10.I can totally relate to things in Hazzard County,( lol I told my parents the other day that our county reminded me of hazzard with some of the things that happen here). I also could be a citizen of Hazzard by just the way I talk growing up hearing and using the same country sling they do.

I'm such a picky eater the list of things I actually like is shorter than the list of things I don't like LOL. But a few things I will not touch are: 1.fish,seafood of any kind 2.turnip greens and collards (they stink) 3.eggs 4.chinese food 5.Japanese food 7.most mexican dishes This list doesn't even hardly scratch the surface on my eating habits, I'm mostly a junkfood junkie. What year(s) was the cartoon? I watched the show until it went off the air from the time I was like 3 or 4 which was in 82' 83' until it went off the air in 85'. I don't remember but I'm sure even after it went off the air and no new episodes were made that there was rerun showings for a while at least there are now days. But I can't ever recall seeing the cartoon. Brandy

I guess its bout time I introduced myself proper been hangin around here for some time now. Name - Brandy HNet Name - miz_smarteepantz Age - 26 Location - Alabama Occupation - Babysittin I guess, due to needing special care myself and being in a wheelchair (but I'm very independent and do pretty much what other people do). I stay with my grandmother while my parents work and help her take care of my 4yr old cousin. Married or Single - Single and staying that way Children - None of my own but my younger cousins and a couple friends kids are like neices and nephews. Favorite Movie - Gone with the wind and Little women. I love movies about the civil war era. I love both Smokey and the Bandit movies too. Favorite Music - Country!! It's the only kind I've listened to my entire life! Favorite TV Show - The Dukes Of Hazzard!!! of course, lol but I like Numbers too,thats about all I watch tv these days is just to vulgar and sex,drug oriented for my taste I like the simple life of Hazzard County best. Hobbies - Making slideshow movies on the computer (which may soon become a small business which I have a degree in),I'm an internet junkie too,flower gardening and reading either doh fanfiction or right now it's civil war era stories.

Yes I have met Heahter Whitestone, she's a very nice person. I was in a college based program for highschool students and we took field trips every few months or so. It was on a trip to see the ballet which miss Whitestone was in that I got to meet her. Brandy

I am DEFENITELY going to Dukefest this year it will be my first time and I am sooo excited. I ordered my tickets this week on ticketmaster,hope they come in the mail soon or I'll panic they aren't coming lol. I'm taking my 17yr old cousin and my parents with me, only my cousin is as excited about going as I am my parents especially my Dad hates big crowds (tuff stuff I say). Is anyone able to tell me if people in wheelchairs get VIP priviledges such as moved closer to the front of the autograph lines? Just wondering, once I went to see Heather Whitestone (i believe thats right it was the deaf miss america) and was wheeled behind her table and she turned spoke to me and signed me an autograph. Then a few years later on my class trip to Washington D.C. a couple friends and I were the only ones to get to go up in the Statue of Liberty due to being put at the front of the line so that was cool for me and them because the rest of the class didn't have time due to such a long line but we were escorted to the front by a security guard and let in first. I won't complain if I have to wait my turn like everyone else because that's only fair but it would be so awesome to meet the cast and my cousin will be stuck to me like glue so if I get to meet them hopefully he will too he's dying to meet Cathy. I am trying to update my profile and I have noticed on several of the posts that it says hazzardite for life. Is this something that has to be typed in the avatar place? I feel that I am and always will be and have been a hazzardite for life. Thanks in advance for any help. Brandy

You know you watch too much DOH when your computer has a DOH theme complete with sounds,cursors,and icons (of the characters). And you spend hours upon hours trying to get the icky boring blue welcome screen to be something DOH. Oh and while doing this and you finally find something to change that awful blue screen, you somehow manage to delete the desktop theme and don't know whether to cry or use Luke's fav profanity of double dam from the first season. (I wanted to do both recently) Brandy

I've had in the back of my mind that I've seen one some episode that there was an actual welcome sign maybe with Boss Hogg's picture and maybe even signs saying leaving hazzard. Can someone confirm it or not. Brandy

My brother in law's birthday is tomorrow and I have searched all day for an e-card to be waiting on him when he checks email in the morning. He works 3rd shift so checks email to unwind before going to bed each mornign. Well i have looked at EVERYTHING I could think of and I can't find anything good.
