Equal OPPORTUNITIES law The plot device in 'OFFICER Daisy Duke'. One of the channels here is currently airing 'The Fall Guy'. They're now up to midway through the final season (season 5), and it's quite possible that I never saw these later episodes in the '80s, and if I did it was nearly 40 years ago! Only the first two seasons have been released on DVD, so I'm taking my chance to catch up. At the beginning of the show's run, Colt took assignments from bail bondswoman Samantha "Big Jack" Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug (AKA. Helen Hogan from 'Route 7-11'). For seasons 2 to 4, the bail bondswoman was Terri Michaels played by Markie Post. What I'd forgotten/never knew is that that the bail bondswoman in the final season was Pearl played by Nedra Volz. She only actually appeared in five episodes, but she's mentioned in several others.

I don't tailgate even when the driver in front is going well under the speed limit. There's just not enough time to react if anything happens. I have also used the slowing down tactic when I've been tailgated.

I don't do many long journeys, but luckily I don't recall seeing anyone doing that on my recent trip to Galway, although I'm sure it happens regularly over here. Maybe I'm imagining it, but people here seem to drive much more hesitantly lately. I thought it could be the reduced driving during the Covid lockdowns, but that was a while ago now. Sometimes I approach a junction thinking I'll easily get out because there's a huge gap, but the car in front stops dead and waits for nothing. Then there are the drivers who drive at well under the speed limit completely oblivious to the long queue behind them. That's my two cents.

Speaking of haunted......Halloween is going to be cold, windy and rainy....just like it has been all day today. We just finished watching Bram Stoker's Dracula. It's a 1992 movie. Normally I don't watch scary stuff but do occasionally this time of year.

Im alive! But unfortunately things didt work out when buying TNT Express paint so we're switching gears to making a custom car. I bought some spray paint at a walmart and got a nice blue and some silver for the engine. Anybody have any other paint ideas? (Ex: racing stripes) The blue is "Brilliant Blue" I think.

I'm about to hit the sack and watch TDOH. Tomorrow EARLY morning, my wife is going back to work, after being off with me and my surgery , recovery etc. ( My wound is STILL healing......don't know why it's taking so long!)

This is one of the things that makes Hazzard the best place in the world. We disagree probably less than 1% of the time and even then, it's slight and the rest of the time we're right in there with each other!!

Lando Norris has just won the Mexican Grand Prix ahead of Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen. It's getting late for me, so I'll write a full race review tomorrow.

Relaxing now after getting home from Northern Virginia. It's 300 miles one way, much of it is on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. People are idiots. I get that I am getting older and lost my daughter to a careless driver 2 years ago but there is more to it than that. Just about every time you see somebody crossing the line they are doing so because the life of the person they are cutting off has less value to them than their text or fantasy football team. We have reached a point where an electronic device matters more than a life. And when you point this out to idiots you know who text and drive the person just says "Well, maybe they were texting a person who was having a medical emergency or maybe their child was in danger". There is a chance in a billion it was something like that.

What about the dog that that girl who had a crush on Coy had ? or that billy goat( ? ) that the boy who was a troubled orphan had when he became friends with the dukes? I can't remember names because these are on the bottom of my " Like List" , so I don't watch them and have forgotten their names.

Anyone on here do YouTube as a hobby? Like I mean with your own channels and stuff? I want to learn more about running a channel.

Of all the episodes, I think he came closest on " The Duke Scam-Scam" There are one or two others that came pretty close though, so, just my opinion. What do you guys think? Hey! I know! Rosco was in the back seat of the bad guy's car and wanted to warn the Dukes they were in danger because the bad guys were following them. So he shot in the air to warn them but pretended he was stupid and doing something else. "That's that chicken hawk that's been killing all them chickens!" Now that I think of it I don't remember them showing the hawk but I'm still submitting it anyways.....cause I'm a rebel who never obeys the rules!

Snake Harmon was an uncivilized animal but biologically human so I'll count the snake he put in the car that slithered around Bo's accelerator foot.

I'm sure I've asked before but I can't find it, but what were the 3 wooden plaques in Boss' office at the Boor's Nest? 1. One bad turn deserves another 2. Do unto others before they do it unto you. 3. ??????? * * I'd appreciate any help finding the 3rd one and if you know it, the episode that shows it. I asked a long time ago and thought later on, I'll find it but never have.

George Russell took a very impressive pole for Mercedes in Singapore yesterday with an in-form Max Verstappen in second ahead of title leader Oscar Piastri. Williams, who had qualified 12th and 13th, had both cars disqualified due to illegal rear wing openings, so started at the back. Oscar's team mate Lando Norris got a good start from fifth and managed to take third after some minor contact. Charles Leclerc also got away well and got to fourth ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Antonelli. There was a bit of place swapping in the mid-field, but it's a hard to overtake in Singapore. Despite a spin by Nico Hulkenberg on lap 45, the race avoided any form of safety car for the second year in a row. Toward the end, Lando was closing on Max, but just couldn't get past. At the flag, George Russell took his second win of the year ahead of Max and Lando. Oscar nearly caught the battle ahead, but had to settle for fourth. Lewis had a quick second half of the race, but ceded his position to Charles near the end, and was also penalized a position for exceeding track limits when his brakes faded. Finishing third and fourth, Lando only closed the gap to Oscar by three points in the Drivers' Championship. They did, however, do enough for McLaren to claim this year's Constructors' Championship with six races to go. That's back-to-back wins for the team. You can see the race highlights here. We're back stateside for the next race at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin in two weeks.

The voice was done by June Foray. It's quite possible that Danny's voice wasn't picked up very well by the mics and he wasn't available for looping on the production's schedule, so they had to bring in June.

Today's F1 sprint race at Austin was full of more drama than usual. Continuing his recent run of good form, Max Verstappen claimed pole position ahead of the McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri with Nico Hulkenberg in a great fourth position. Max made a good start with Oscar making a better start than Lando. At the first corner, Nico and Oscar collided and also took out Lando and Fernando Alonso's Aston Martin bringing out the safety car. At the restart, Max stayed ahead of George Russell's Mercedes, although George did unsuccessfully challenge for the lead three laps later. Just after that, Charles Leclerc went wide in his Ferrari allowing team mate Lewis Hamilton to get by. With three laps to go, Lance Stroll hit Esteban Ocon's Haas taking out both cars and meaning non-finishes for both Aston Martins. Unlike NASCAR, the race finished under a safety car as the cars don't refuel and don't have enough to do extra laps. At the flag, Max took the win and eight points. That further closes the gap to the non-finishing McLaren drivers. George got second and Carlos Sainz took an impressive third for Williams ahead of the two Ferraris. You can see the highlights here. Due to the time difference, I won't see the qualifying highlights for the main race until tomorrow morning, and it may be Monday before I post the race review.
