  1. I don't tailgate even when the driver in front is going well under the speed limit. There's just not enough time to react if anything happens. I have also used the slowing down tactic when I've been tailgated.

  2. Right now I'm watching Scooby Doo, " Pirates /ahoy!" ansd about to head to Hazzard.....it's what I call it when I go to bed and turn on my DOH DVD and watch it until I start to fall asleep! Remember, it's just now DOHD and make it a good one! Happy DOHD fellow Hazzardites!!

  3. That's good but on multiple lane highways if there is any room between you and the car ahead of you, you are constantly being cut off and you can't brake because the person behind you is usually right on your bumper. I don't know how people who drive in city rush hour traffic daily keep their sanity. My nephew drives in DC traffic daily and I asked him if he ever gets used to it and he said "not really!"

  4. I think it was Cooter who walked into a cave and ran out. As I recall they never showed the bear but we heard the growl.

  5. I don't do many long journeys, but luckily I don't recall seeing anyone doing that on my recent trip to Galway, although I'm sure it happens regularly over here. Maybe I'm imagining it, but people here seem to drive much more hesitantly lately. I thought it could be the reduced driving during the Covid lockdowns, but that was a while ago now. Sometimes I approach a junction thinking I'll easily get out because there's a huge gap, but the car in front stops dead and waits for nothing. Then there are the drivers who drive at well under the speed limit completely oblivious to the long queue behind them. That's my two cents.

Nancy JERIS played the doctor in 'Brotherly Love' Chinese restaurants over here quite often offer fruit fritters (pineapple or maybe banana) as their only desserts. I've heard of corn fritters, but don't think I've ever eaten one.

  7. My number one thing I hate about driving is tailgaters. I get that they are in a hurry but I figure if I'm going to get rear ended I have a better chance of not getting killed if I am going slower....so I slow down if I'm getting tailgated. It also lessens their chance of being killed....but for some reason they don't seem to appreciate my safe driving practices.
