    Charlie Daniels

I was just watching a season 3 episode of The Fall Guy called 'Pirates of Nashville'. The main storyline was about bootlegged Country records, so Colt and gang had to fly to Nashville and visit The Grand Ole Opry. The first singer they met was Dottie West - one of Boss' Celebrity Speed Trap victims. A couple of others like Mickey Gilley were mentioned, but not seen. Then Charlie Daniels and his band showed up to perform 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia'. The episode also featured Miriam Byrd-Nethery who appeared in two episodes of Dukes. The episode finished with Colt losing a bet and having to sing the show's theme song which was portrayed as having been written by Howie. I'm no expert on Tennessee geography, but the street signs in the urban car chase looked suspiciously like the ones in LA, and the out-of-town chase went down roads lined with white fencing that were very like the ones often seen in Dukes (e.g. W Potrero Road in Westlake Village).

  2. Get ready for some serious car art skills! I can draw the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard in 3D! I show the entire car from all angles - left, right, top, front, and back. My secret technique? Starting with the iconic flag rectangle on the roof and building the rest of the car from there. Who else loves the General Lee? Share your favorite Dukes of Hazzard memories! #DukesOfHazzard #GeneralLee #CarArt #3Ddrawing

  3. I just schooled someone in the comments section of a Dukes scene on TV Stunter's YouTube channel. The man said "I love the stick at 0:59." I told him in a reply to his comment. "It's actually the soundtrack from the Mustang in the movie Bullitt dubbed in. All the General Lees were automatics. 😲"

  5. Meadowmufn... I drew it lots of times both with and without the crossed flags behind the back windshield. I do it as a 3D image. I start out with the rectangle of the flag on the roof, and then I fill in the rest of the car. In my drawings, the front, back, both doors, the roof, everything is visible the whole complete car.

    Annie's Fanart

Hello! I figured since I might be drawing fanart more often that it would be a better idea to have one thread/topic than to post it all on it's own every time, and I have a really good piece to start it with. It's a drawing I did of Bo with a horse. The song "My Rifle, My Pony and Me" kept coming up on Spotify and I got really inspired for some reason, so I drew the song. (except the rifle, I didn't want to render that much metal AND wood) My friend is a horse girl and she said that Bo would have a Chestnut Quarter Horse Mare named Miss Joanne. It's my biggest project ever, with the multiple subjects and more body than just the head. I had a lot of fun with it, adding a bunch of little details that I'm sure most of them won't be found partially due to the bad quality I had to upload it in so it could fit, but I also think the bigger ones won't be understood. I'm not saying you guys are dumb, I'm saying that I probably didn't make it understandable as a reference and made it look more like just a design choice or a coincidence. Also, apologies for not posting/commenting anything, I haven't known what to say. The only dukes thing I've done/seen/thought of besides this drawing, is I made a wallpaper and lockscreen for a friend. I swear I haven't forgotten about this forum, and I'm still a fan!

It's not a finished peice (not even started), but if Bo was a dog, what kind of dog do you think he'd be? I'm planning to draw him as a werewolf (weredog?) and am not sure what to use as reference

  9. Awesome stuff! You are definitely a great addition to the Hazzard Net. I'm really low tech and wouldn't have a clue how to do something like that. How long does one take? The details in Luke's eyes are amazing!

  10. I'd like to give a step by step of how I work except I really don't know. I just grab a photo, color pick it, put on a playlist and go for it. I mostly do actors/musicians I like...I would share them but idk if it'd be allowed considering they aren't quite on topic. I tried vector art once when I was in school, it looks great I think, but it's so tedious for me, I just get mad halfway through and forget about it.

  12. It's probably not what you want to hear, but nearly all the text in my fan art projects is done from scratch. The "01" looks similar to various 'college' style fonts, but since it's all straight lines, it doesn't take long to draw. From memory, I think I based the "General Lee" text on a screengrab from 'Diamonds in the Rough'. When the boys get the Bugs Bunny doll out of the tree you get a good overhead view. This was my second attempt at the General - my first try, and several weird and wild variations can be found in my General Lee Artwork thread. It's all vector artwork.

  13. As I said in my introduction post (which you probably havent seen), I draw, and so I wanted to share my first drawings in this fandom. Both are digital The Bo one was a test piece, I was trying to figure out this mock watercolor brush I found about a month ago. And the Luke one I did for a friends birthday on the 6th.
