Why would you want to go to a doctor in a big city? They don't know anything compared to country doctors. I bet they don't even know that Sassafras tea is good for sore throats.

Keep us updated Cousin. It's kinda strange that Doc Appleby and Doc Petticord would go on vacation at the same time. For the sake of Hazzard folks they should coordinate things better. Have you considered going to the doctor in Chickasaw County to get it done sooner?

OK Cousins.....once again, it's DOHD ( Dukes Of Hazzard Day) which is a worldwide holiday every Friday! We celebrate the good, carefree, no worries, no sadness etc. feeling that comes so easily with the show! I'm also partaking of my AB companion ( AB= Adult Beverage) Milwaukee's Best Ice....I love Ice Beer!! It'll put a pep in your step or a drag in your swag! That's what I'm doing and about to watch DOH as soon as Jeopardy is over.....what's going on with everybody else on the holiday?

well cousins....my surgery got set for sept. 2nd......don't know....maybe the doctor wanted to go on vacation before he did it ( ?) , anyway I'll have to wait longer when I thought but I'll keep you up on it.

They definitely had great comedy back in the pre-Dukes era. My favorite was Beverly Hillbillies. Nowadays they can't even make a sitcom without most of the jokes being about sex. And late night comedians can't make a joke unless it is about politics. Pathetic stuff. Our culture has really become narrow minded.

Found out from the neighbor that the cat died the other night, I feel sad that it died alone probably thinking nobody cared about it. At least it's not suffering anymore although it needlessly suffered 2 extra weeks.
