Well, the double pit stop rule in Monaco didn't make much difference. The top four on the grid finished in the order they started. Lando Norris' win now puts him only three points behind his team mate Oscar Piastri, with Max Verstappen a further 22 points back. Lewis Hamilton recovered two of the three places that he was demoted to finish fifth. It was also a good day for RB and Williams who had both their cars in the points.
Down the field, some of the teams used their second drivers to slow the down the cars behind to give their first cars a free pit stop. This frustrated George Russell so much that he overtook a Williams by cutting a chicane. When he told his team that he'd rather take the penalty than give the place back, he was given a drive-through penalty which cost him about 20 seconds.

McLaren are now well ahead in the constructors' championship, but there's only five points between Mercedes in second and Ferrari in fourth with Red Bull in the middle.
Next weekend is the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
