  1. Unless you pay close attention, you may think that Cooter always wears the same hat (probably the one in the title sequence). Bo and Luke even chat about Cooter wearing the same old hat in 'Welcome Back Bo and Luke'. But if you DO pay close attention, you'll know that that Cooter wears no less than 9 different caps during the run of the 7 seasons. If you count the two reunion movies, then the total is 11. Most of these hats are/were existing real-world caps. Here is a guide to all of his hats (let me know if I missed any!): Cooter's hats v2 by mommydawn2000, on Flickr

  2. Happy Birthday today Emma. Hopefully Jesse will give you a little kiss and maybe even some flowers. I've been going through Emma's 12 episodes (13 if you count Close Call for Daisy where she was mentioned but not seen in season 6). She made her debut in season 3 "Enos Strate to the Top" as postmistress but was working at the Hazzard Gazzette in "The Great Hazzard Hijack". I thought her dirt bike made a debut in season 4 Double Dukes but forgot it was season 3 in "The Hack of Hazzard" where the Dukes took over the cab company and post office. At the beginning she road a wheelie on the way to visit her mother.

Rufus Z Coltrane (I'm absolutely positive the word Vietnam was never mentioned. I don't think any war was specifically. When Boss was dedicating a memorial in "Follow That Still" he and Luke weren't specific. And as we mentioned, the V-word wasn't mentioned in "The Great Hazzard Hijack". The only other one I can think of is "One Armed Bandits" where Boss said he was in 2 wars (contradicted in Follow That Still). Those wars would have been WW2 and Korea. I'm surprised the writers never made Jesse a WW2 vet.)

Cooter Davenport:"The only car that ever whipped the General in an overland race." Luke Duke:"Thanks fer remindin' us! Come on y'all. Let's go see if we got a racecar to race with."

I'm fixing to give Y'ALL some elements to make up a pretty good Dukes YARN. Waylon's intro to "The Ransom of Hazzard County". Vietnam is the logical conclusion, but I was asking whether it was explicitly mentioned in any episode. I don't remember the word "Vietnam" appearing in the show.

    The last 24 hours

I bet the rehab nurses and PT's threw a party Friday as my dad got released. Going to have to see if a local Starbucks or Tim Hortons has a bunch of $5 gift cards to hand out to them as an apology for his behavior. I don't know what has gotten into him but my patience is wearing thinner than a strand of hair. The way he has treated his brother the past few months is shameful. Friday I had my fill, told my dad he should be nicer but he didn't like hearing that so I left before I said something I'd regret. I came home and finished off a bottle of JD.

    The last 24 hours

So this week keeps getting crazier While at work yesterday I received a notification from my ring camera... https://ring.com/share/f1612370-321b-4e03-9548-befc12c5e11b A careless idiot neighbor threw his cigarette butt in the dry grass. This is the 2nd video of the fire. After seeing this and noticing our next door neighbor wasn't out yet I did a 100m sprint to my wife's work building to get her phone and called the neighbor to alert her to get out. When she got to the door with her dog the maintenance guy for the neighboring property was able to put the fire out with a garden hose before it spread to any of the buildings.
