Ben Jones passed away today August 9, 2026. It’s a sad day for Dukes Of Hazzard fans and Ben’s family. My prayers are with Ben and his family.

Howdy y’all, just wanted to give a heads up in case nobody knows, not sure. Dukes are now available on Amazon Prime to stream, in excellent quality even though its the same as the hd tv airings I think. But definitely watchable! Given that I hope Warner will release the series again on blu ray in much higher quality than the old dvd prints.

They've got an article ( I wasn't able to copy it) that talked about cringe worthy shows and TDOH was one of them. This country and the world, get more and more upside down and perverted, with every passing year!!

Very sad to hear that Rick has passed away. I would have loved to meet him and get an autograph. He was only at Cooter's Place just this past Sunday. Rest in Peace Rick (Cletus) I hope you're with the rest of the Dukes cast that has gone over the rainbow bridge.

"Daisy Dukes" have officially been added to the Oxford English Dictionary, 46 years after we first saw them on screen. They are among over 230 new words/terms that will now appear in the OED. The Irish Sun (national tabloid newspaper) even made it their featured addition in this article. You can see the dictionary entry here. In case you weren't sure about the definition: Daisy Dukes, noun colloquial (originally and chiefly U.S.). Brief, tight-fitting denim shorts, typically made from a pair of cut-off jeans and usually worn by women. Also as a modifier with the first element in singular form, in Daisy Duke shorts.

I don't do social media or keep up with celebrity gossip, but I'm surprised that no one has mentioned John Schneider getting re-married last month. As most of you know, John lost his third wife, Alicia Allain, to breast cancer in February 2023. He has now married Dee Dee Sorvino, the widow of 'Goodfellas' actor Paul Sorvino. You can read the LA Times article about their marriage here. I've just looked up Dee Dee's bio on IMDb - her birth name was Denessa Purvis Benkie, so maybe she's related to Rosco! I got a friend request from Karis Schneider......didn't think much of it and was going to delete it, when I noticed the partial pic on her page looked familiar. I just saw Bo on "The Faulkner Focus" promoting his new movie "To Die For". It is a patriotic themed movie and looks really good. Maybe someone could post a link on how to get it. It was pretty interesting to hear him explain why Hollywood doesn't put out movies like this and why it is so important that they do get out in some other way. Hollywood has been corrupt for awhile now. Even James Best mentioned it when they moved Dukes out of Georgia. I think he called it a sewer. They claim to love diversity but ignore half of America. A big yeehaww goes out to John for recognizing that.

Simon MacCorkindale, known better by Dukes fans as the conman that assumed the identity of cousin Gaylord Duke, as passed away. Unforutnately they refer to the "Duke brothers" as opposed to the Duke cousins.
