General Discussion

I found two stories on my hard drive last night that I don't have a clue who they belong to - I know not me. I probably have them from beta-reading them a long time ago, but I haven't been able to find them online now. One is unfinished, and I'd really like a find a finished version, named "Deputy Dipstick". The other is complete, called "Fair Warning". I have no idea anymore who they came from. Neither one has any new characters, just the original Dukes and friends, so I can't use that to track the author(s) down. If anyone knows who wrote these, or has seen them online, please tell me. They're both great little stories, and I'd hate to think of them not existing …

I don't know how feasible it would be for it to be listed by character. for ex. i would want to see all rosco stories, i would hang into the forum with stories featuring prominantly him. The same can be done for any character. just an idea. don't shoot me!

MY STORY IS UP ON THE PAGE!!!!!!! i'm so happy my story was posted. Thanks to who ever posted it. I'll make sure to keep the parts coming until the story is done!

This is what I wrote while waiting for someone to come back to their car. I am stuck on the here comes chaos part. Both Rosco and Cletus are in the holding cell with the door shut. This is where the Duke boys “bail” Ponch and Jon out of jail. “You ok cousin?” asked Jon “Yeah it's my ribs,” said Ponch. “Can he put his right arm down? He broke his ribs a few months ago” Jon said to Deputy Cletus. “Uh, Jon you mean most of my bones.” Poncherello retorted as they walked into the station's booking area where Bo and Luke were paying their “Speeding” ticket that Rosco gave them. [Here comes Chaos] They are runnin’ out the door and split up Jon and Bo in Jon's truck…

I've had my share of a few great RPs on different journal sites and in chat rooms. I've also really enjoyed being able to participate in the Round Robin Stories Forum here. However, I wanted to get back into the RP game a little. So, I've been doing a little research and it seems that the RPs have moved more to designated profiles on myspace.com. I have recently created a profile for my character Cassie. If anyone is interested in creating a profile and RPing with me via comment section of our profiles, then please feel free to add me. I'm not sure what the rules are regarding HTML links on here anymore, so if you want to add me. Then, comment here and I will send the lin…

This is a suggestion, how about putting up fanfic banners. I've seen some on this one forum

I just want to thank Val for writing again in the "Fics in progress" section. I was waiting for uptades of "Pines and Principles", that looks like a great fic (in perferct Val's style). And thanks to Pendragon too, another great ol' writer here. I'm really happy to see again ol' good writers at work. It's time to refresh the Round Robin section too, don't you think?

Hi there- I just joined up on the forums but have been a fan of the Dukes since they first were on the air! I was wondering, is there anything special I have to do to send in a story? Also, where do I send it? I have a great one going and would love you all to read and critique it! Thanks, Tara

How many of y'all got your 1st season DVD of the Dukes of Hazzard besides me?? I checked it out and the video looked cool.. The commentary with both John Schneider and Catherine Bach was awesome when they talked about the pilot episode, "One-Armed Bandits".. If you don't have your DVD by now, (to quote Rosco), "Shame, shame on you." Well, keep up the good fanfic's goin'..

After having read the challenge section of this board posted by the mods, I have to say there are some REALLY great ideas there! I especially like the photo challenge and may try that myself if time permits. I'm a college student, so time is a luxury for me, or will be in a few weeks when school starts, LOL. Anyway, I was wondering- would it be possible to maybe have a forum where the writers themselves can post challenge ideas for their fellow writers? It seems like you guys are all so talented and full of ideas, surely some of you out there have had challenge ideas. I just think it might be fun to see if the writers themselves have any ideas of that kind. Any thoug…

I was just wondering that if I write a story if there will be someone nice enough to beta read it for me. I've writtena lot of fanfic before and other stories as well, but its always good for someone to go over my stuff. I was thinking that the first story would be about Enos and it wouldnt be too long. Please let me know. PM me or reply to the post. Grazie

5/17- Comrade Duke aired mid Feb/83 before Bo & Luke return ep 5/19. 5/22- Daisy's Shotgun Wedding aired late March 83 ~5th season finale~ I truly wish they had keep the same writers every episode for consistency.

If anyone would like to write with me feel free to send me a little ole message letting me know so we can discuss getting something going in the round robin thread. I love writing so I'm open to discussing writing something with someone else as well as writing on my own.

Perhaps you posted before and I missed it. Could you share the order in which your round robin stories should be read? Are there some that are free standing and not part of a series? Thank you!

Okay we have had our jollies with the TV Show american Chopper. On there is a motor bike shop called Orange County Choppers. What if, a bunch of Harley types, who were also fans of the Dukes got together a club? Answer, The Hazzard County Choppers Club. Know anywhere else that fight the system anti establishment types would be accepted other than in Hazzard? The Hazzard County Choppers Club, is a branch of the Hazzard County Knytes(KNIGHTS) Kustmz Association . We are more than the casual fans we live the show in real life. Be watching for our Hazzard web site coming soon. Just passing this along to all Duke fans.

Though I Love season One I have been wanting to see The Ghost of the General Lee and a couple of the other shows that come out in season 2 ANYBODY have a clue or hint as to WHEN this will come out??? Hey y'all. Seen as summer is fast approaching and I havent got all seven seasons,i was thinking of downloading season 6 & 7. Do any of y'all have any Dukes torrents that you could tell me about? Thanks y'all Sorry y'all,i accidentally posted it in the wrong posting area...and i dont know how to delete a thread.

Dixie Davenport --- (Maybe Duke one of these days!) CB Handle --- "Lady Shotgun!" She is Cooter's LITTLE sister making Luke Duke just over 4 years older than her. She is your true "Good hearted woman, Locing a goodtiming man!" Cooter's Mother and Father split up when she was at a very young age; but she returns to Hazzard to spend the summer and maybe more with her father at the age of 15. Well, let's say 15 going on 25 (with a little help from Daisy). Things go from bad to worse and she leaves Hazzard County swearing NEVER to return. After years of going through life, having men not measure up she is talked into returning to Hazzard to see if she can rekindal…

Iam writing a story of the dukes about what happand to Bo, Luke and Daisy's family. It takes place about 10-12 years prior to the begining of the show. What I need help with is some ideas of how Jessie's wife dies. Just a few brainstorming ideas could help my story grow.

Name : Brandy Mae Duke Age : 26 Eyes: Blue Hair Brunette Brandy is Luke's Sister she is younger than Luke She hasn't seen Luke since they was Babies seeing as how Brandy and Luke's Parents got a divorce. Carl got Custody of Luke , Holly got Custody of Brandy the Backstory of Luke and Brandy will be the next story I'll be writing oh and if you want to use my Characeter please send me a Private message first cause she is my Character.

Hi, I'm Loriann and I have an idea that maybe one of y'all could cobble a story out of. I was mulling over the idea that maybe Bo and Luke are not cousins, but brothers. Suppose that Luke's and Bo's parents were extremely close to each other. Bo's parents want a baby and cannot either carry a baby to term or cannot conceive. So Luke's parents gave the gift of a lifetime and had Bo and gave him to Luke's parents to adopt. Uncle Jesse knows. Perhaps Roscoe knows. Maybe boss Hogg's wife knows. Daisy and the boys grow up never knowing. It comes out when suddenly Uncle Jesse passes away and somehow Bo's adoption papers are found. This info devastates Bo to the point that he…
