been rewatching episodes lately. ive always wondered is there any sort of like "timeline". like what ages are all the characters supposed to be? etc

I know that everyone in the US celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Dukes of Hazzard back in January, but in the UK it didn't start until March 3rd, 1979. Below is the listing from the Radio Times (roughly the UK equivalent of the TV Guide) from that day. As y'all can see, it was originally shown at 9 PM on a Saturday night, but soon moved to an earlier Saturday slot. Back then we only had three channels, and no breakfast or daytime TV (except programs for schools). The two football leagues mentioned in the Match of the Day listing are now known as the Premier League and the Championship. Most of the other names bring back memories too . Any of y'all watching One Armed Bandits today on VHS, DVD, Bluray, or digitally?

How many watched the Dukes Friday night?? I started with one armed bandits and finished all of season one today. January 26, 1979 was a day or night that will always be in my memories. I was 5 years old and my mom said I had never sat still that long ever lol. Them first five episodes will always be my favorites since they were filmed in Georgia. Still such a good show.

I'm having a problem with disc 2 of season one....the problem is with The Big Heist and Limo One is Missing . It freezes multiple times during T.B.H and won't even play Limo 1. I've watched this DVD before with no problems but now..... I've cleaned it with soap and water twice and even had my dad clean it....There doesn't seem to be any scratches but there are teany tiny specs/spots that don't wash off...on both sides....but only a problem with one side......uggg....so annoying! Oh more annoyingness...this DVD plays fine in the livingroom but not in my room or on my moms computer...does that make any sense!?! Ok I'm done ranting and raving now (maybe). Anyway does anyone…

Congratulations to Uncle Jesse for winning the Dukes game after an 8 month battle. waiki has suggested starting another one and I second the motion. If one other person wants to play I think we should go for it. Instead of starting out 10 characters with 10 points each, what do you folks think of starting out with 10 characters but only giving them 5 points to start the game? Or we could stick with 10....

Well, I don't know if it was the show or the movie, but the guy who won a gold metal for America in the speed skating department was talked too after he won and he said he watched Dukes of Hazzard right before the race. Anybody typed in 'Dukes of Hazzard Bloopers' on YouTube? very interesting bloopers on there from the show..... I would post the link, however, I recall posting links without permission is not allowed. Quite interesting and colorful language on some of those 'bloopers'. I was hoping more of this stuff would surface with the years.... as well as a bunch of other un-edited footage of jumps, showing the General Lee jumps/landings in full.

In Season 1 Episode 4, "Repo Men," Luke says "You get the feeling we've been here before?" when Rosco confiscates the Rolls Royce. But what most fans might not know is that this line is a nod to Season 7 Episode 1, "Happy Birthday General Lee," where Rosco takes their truck, leaving them stranded! Did ya know The Dukes n The Waltons shared locations? The orphanage ran by Ira Grant in Season 6 A Boy's Best Friend is the Walton house. Knight Rider shared locations too. The Indian Dunes Sticks River jump, the Duke Farm n the Boars Nest.

Dukes of Hazzard Fun Fact: Did you know In the flashback episode Season 7 Episode 1 Happy Birthday, General Lee the 1st jump was an accident. Then they discovered they liked it and in later stories started doing it on purpose. The 1st jump was when running away from the gold dust robbers the Charger had originally belonged to when it was black before the Dukes bought it and painted it orange put the flag name and number on it and built the race car with it. They had the Gold dust stashed behind the dashboard and wanted it back.

Besides Christopher Mayer, the actor playing Jeb Morton he was the only other actor from the open cattle call for Coy & Vance to actually appear in an episode.

Did y'all ever hear the French version of the series theme? French series theme also has a extended too. I wonder if that longer French is the "You know momma loves me" Waylon extended version? German uses the American Waylon Jennings series version. It don't have a German one.

Did you know the Italian version of The Dukes theme is called Bo e Luke? Some of the words are "Bo e Luke aha"
