  2. My hometown doesn't resemble Hazzard in the least. My current town doesn't resemble it much either, but at least it's a little closer to it. I drive by farms and cows to get to my doctor's office. In my hometown, it's mostly concrete.
  3. Four different schools were used to portray Rockbridge High School: Van Nuys High School was used for the locker scene and the parking lot scene. Canoga Park High School was used for the shop class where Buddy bullies Arnie. Verdugo Hills High School was used for the library scene. Calabasas High School was used for the football game.
  4. Catherine is in the hospital due to an embolism, likely a complication from recent surgery. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. John Schneider gave an update saying it sounds like she's doing well.

  6. I moved around a lot, so I don't really know what to consider my hometown, but it was mostly desert suburbs, so no way does it have the same feel. But where I live now, maybe it isn't "modern" day Hazzard, but more early Hazzard in the episode where they were in the wild west (I can't remember the name), it's a well-preserved, 1 road, old gold rush mining town with wooden sidewalks and a general store and even ghost stories. it's only really open on the weekends, and we never go (much to my dismay, cause it's so cute I love it here) and always make sure to wear my boots cause I LOVE the sound of my heels on the wood. The bigger town to our right is more "modern" Hazzard, with the brick buildings and painted glass storefronts.
  7. Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure
  8. Happy Samhain. Halloween started out here in Ireland, and the jack-o-lanterns were originally made from turnips. BTW. If you know anyone Irish, Samhain is pronounced Sow-in.
  9. Happy Halloween to all my cousins in Hazzard County!
  10. Ginger Grant (Skipper Dukes’s favorite lady)
  11. The General Lee makes BIG jumps.
  12. It was only 42 years old when that episode of Sanford and Son aired.
  13. Wow! That's a long time ago.
  14. Bela Lugosi played Count Dracula in the 1931 movie 'Dracula'.
  15. Oh no! 😢😭💔
  16. There was a technical glitch y’all I’ll have that video back up again soon.
  17. Wish I had better news to share, so according to a post from Ben & Alma, she’s been admitted to hospital via emergency due to an embolism probably caused by a recent surgery. 🙏
  18. https://www.quora.com/ Waylon had it right!!
  19. Which one did Bella Legosee play Dracula in? Fred Sanford mentions him in Sanford and Son. The episode when he's sick from eating 8 day old Collard Greens. Lamont gets the news from the doctor, and he starts smiling at Fred, and Fred says "What's a matter with you? Why you smilin' at me, like Bella Legosee or somebody?" 😂
  20. I'm sad that some Christine (1983) locations have changed over the years. 😢😭💔 The house played Roland D. LeBay's old tract house where his brother George LeBay sells the late Roland's car Christine to Arnie Cunningham, the house is gone now. The overpass where Christine chases Malcolm Danare (Peter Moochie Welch) to kill him, the area has changed also. The bridge Christine hid under waiting for him is gone now. Some are still standing. Like the school used as Rock Bridge High School. I heard that was a real school. I'm not sure of its real name. Changed to Rock Bridge High School for the movie high school scenes.
  21. Christine Trivia: The book John Stockwell (Dennis Guilder) grabs off the library shelf during study hall is actually a hardback copy of the film's source material Stephen King's Christine.
  22. Speaking of haunted......Halloween is going to be cold, windy and rainy....just like it has been all day today. We just finished watching Bram Stoker's Dracula. It's a 1992 movie. Normally I don't watch scary stuff but do occasionally this time of year.

  25. The HazzardNet used to be a lot more active but now can see why it can be tough to think of things to say....but there are four ways to fix that. 1) reply to word association 2) reply to the A-Z thread 3) look through the thousands of threads laying around and revive one 4) be inventive and create something new. We are happy to have you as part of the family.
