Qualifying proved to be very tight, with positions changing right up to the end. Charles Leclerc looked to have bettered the McLarens until Lando Norris set a new lap record to take pole. The top five for tomorrow's race are: 1. Lando Norris - McLaren 2. Charles Leclerc - Ferrari 3. Oscar Piastri - McLaren 4. Max Verstappen - Red Bull 5. Isack Hadjar - RB You can see the highlights here. NB. The video shows that Lewis Hamilton qualified in fourth, but he was later demoted to seventh for impeding Max in Q1. You can see the pole lap from Lando's cockpit here. I've probably mentioned in previous years that the teams have to fit the cars with special steering racks to get around the hairpin at Monaco.

B: does anybody know a good place to get them from? I know eBay has them pretty cheap, but I still want some other sources Thanks in advance for any help!

    NASCAR news

This weekend's Monaco Grand Prix is seen as a halo event, mainly due to its long history, glamor, and the demanding nature of the tight street circuit right on the shoreline of the wealthy principality. However, the tight nature makes overtaking very difficult, which can lead to boring races. F1 rules usually mandate that two different tire compounds are used during a race (Pirelli bring "soft", "medium" and "hard" tires to each race chosen from six different compounds to best suit the likely wear expected at the circuit), meaning at least one pit stop. At last year's race there was a bad crash on the first lap which brought out a red flag. Most of the field used their enforced time in the pits to fit hard tires which lasted until the end of the race (lower speeds a Monaco mean lower tire wear). The top ten cars finished in exactly the same order in which they started. You can see the highlights (I use the term loosely) of the race here. To try to avoid a repeat of this, teams will still have to use two tire compounds during the race at Monaco, but they have to make at least two pit stops this year. Time will tell if this makes any difference. Local driver and last year's winner, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, has been fastest in the first two practice sessions, with the McLarens also looking quick.
  11. sounds like you plan on some serious trickery! LOL!
  12. "Hey fellow Christine fans! I saw an awesome post in one of the groups (can't remember which one) where someone did a side-by-side comparison of the book and movie scenes. They matched the exact words from the book with screenshots from the movie, and it was set up perfectly! Has anyone else seen this or know which group it was in? Would love to check it out again! #Christine #StephenKing"

  18. Behind-the-scenes trivia alert! Did you know that Alan Hale's iconic Skipper hat from Gilligan's Island had a special tweak for filming? The hat's brim had a glossy sheen that was too bright for the set lights, so the production team used a clever trick: they applied frosted contact paper to matte down the finish! After filming, they'd remove the contact paper, and the hat would be back to its original glossy self. Mind blown, right? #GilligansIsland #BehindTheScenes #TVTrivia
  19. Boss... Got any ideas how the Skipper can cheat in the race? 😂
  20. I'll be driving my Gray Ghost Jr. '68 Camaro! It has a new coat or primer and a big engine under the hood. I promise no one will catch me playing dirty... or catch me.
  21. Hobie Hartkins... I think there's a song isn't there? Boogie woogie like a choo choo train" lol.
  22. Thank you Hobie . I haven't done very well as of late, I feel. The biggest race of the NASCAR season is Sunday night at the Coca Cola 600 in Charolotte. Last season, Christopher Bell won it. Kyle Larson will being going for the double header for the second year in a row. Racing Indy 500 and the Coca Cola 600 for 1,100 miles in one day. Or try. Last year's run was ran a little short due to rain and having to make from track to track in a shortened time span. Justin Allgaier started the Coca Cola race last year for Larson before Larson took over the 5 NASCAR car. Kyle Larson's quest to complete 1,100 miles, Part II | NASCAR I miss the older days where this was the house that Jimmie Johnson built. Well he didn't build Charolette, but he was good there. Hendrick cars run good here so I am hopeful for the number 9 car of Chase Elliott to have a good run at it... Thank you Hoss for keeping us updated on F1. You do a great job at it.
