I think Netflix need the studios, but that doesn't mean they'll keep all the facilities. Cooter's Garage went in the '90s and the Mexican and Western sets have also gone. Some of the Hazzard Square buildings have been standing since the '60s, which, let's face it, is a long time for any building in the Los Angeles area! If politics get involved, WB could go to Paramount Skydance, and they already have studios. It would be great to think that Hazzard Square would be preserved, but as my recent post on the Warner Ranch shows, money will always win out.

I'm really not sure what scale we're talking about here and what body you're planning to use. -

If you could find one of the old pedal car General Lee's you could take that body and put it on a little go kart. Not 100% they made one but WB marketed the heck out of the show so wouldn't be surprised. -

What I'm Doing Right Now!
Tom Duke replied to Hobie Hartkins's topic in Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion
Well I just got done watching the evening news for the first time in a while, and it makes me nostalgic for the days when tv stations would sign off after prime time shows. Bring it back y’all, we live in an age of information overload, and even though I’m apart of the techy Gen Z generation, I honestly long for simpler days. That’s why we bought a vintage 70s landline phone for our house phone, I’m sick of too much tech. Why don’t kids get off the stuff and play outside in the mud and drink water from a hose again? -
With the Netflix deal and possibly others on the table and Warner Bros likely to face new ownership, I’m kinda nervous for the future of the Hazzard Square, I hope it’ll be safe but I’m anxious for it and what could happen.

This is very funny in Smokey and the Bandit II. Bandit (To Canadian cop when his butt is on fire after the crash.):"Excuse me sir. Yer ass is on fire! Bet you'll be glad to get back to Canada an' stick it in the snow." 😂

Skipper must've been a player. 😂 In the Rescue From Gilligan's Island (1978), he had a list of girlfriends. 😂 Professor:"Skipper, I bet I know what you're thinking about." 😂 Skipper:"Ha ha ha!" 😂 Professor:"Ha ha ha!" 😂 Skipper:"Ha ha ha!" 😂 Professor:"That's what I thought. You got about 15 minutes before you relieve Gilligan on watch." Skipper:"Thanks Professor. That's just enough time for me to go thru my list of girlfriends again." 😂

Grandpa would be as old as the sinking. 😲

I double-checked before posting my reply above, and every source I found said it sank on the 15th. The iceberg hit was late on the 14th.

Can I make a The Dukes of Hazzard General Lee Go Cart by putting a 1968 1969 Dodge Charger car body on a Go Cart frame? Is this doable? If I ever do this, should I let the doors open or seal them shut? You know in all the productions, the doors opened. They were sealed in the story making windows entry and exit. But not actually sealed. I think stuntmen went in and out the doors. The actors used windows. But sometimes off camera you could hear it slam shut. I like all 7 seasons all 147 episodes. So choosing between GA 1-5 or CA 6- 147 would be hard to pick a version for the Go Cart to be based on.

The Titanic sank on April 14thh 1912
-
The Titanic left Queenstown (now Cobh) in Ireland on April 11th, 1912, hit the iceberg just before midnight on the 14th, and sank on the 15th. BTW. Cobh is pronounced like "cove".

Will you be including Swamp Molly in this list?

Don't forget Ma Harper! Hubba Hubba !! LOL!

I was wondering if anybody was going to catch that...... April 12th I do believe!

What I'm Doing Right Now!

I'm starting to celebrate DOHD a little early with some old No. 7 ( The doctor says beer might make my esophagus, which he operated on, bust open, so I'm going to watch DOHD after Jeopardy and then later tonight, I'll try to get back on here and tell you what I'm watching. Cheers to Jack Daniels ( RIP) and old No. 7. Sour Mash! * Interesting note- Jack Daniels is a world famous, very popular whiskey and it's made right here in Lynchburg Tn.! ( Moore county) a dry county, which means it's illegal to serve alcohol at restaurants and you can't buy alcohol anywhere in the county but No.7 is made in the distillery and shipped OUT of the county! -
When LORETTA LYNN was on the show, it made it a specially good!
-
Not quite. Titanic sank in 1912 (its keel was laid down in 1909).
