Did you know that Lancaster Uniform Cap Co., the primary maker of the iconic Skipper hat worn by Alan Hale Jr. in the original Gilligan's Island series (1964-1967) and reunion movies (1979 and 1981), is no longer in operation? Today, Midway Cap Co. in Chicago is the only official maker of the Skipper hat still in business. Interestingly, they also produced the secondary hat worn by the Skipper in the 1978 movie Rescue From Gilligan's Island, as well as Alf's hat in the 1987 TV special Alf: Somewhere Over the Rerun. Well that’s beautiful meadowmufn, honestly. And a little update for y’all, paid a visit to the Boars Nest today and made myself a friend. I ain’t sayin anything’s gonna come of it, but I’m takin it slow and easy. See what happens! she’s challenged me to a game of pool next time I come by, better brush up on my skills.

I'm beat. A friend and I dug up the plants and split them today. Happy we were able to save so many plants. Rose of Sharons unfortunately no one wanted.

I've got his autograph on a picture he sent me when I bought his video of him and Boss. I just got another season 6 because my other one messed up. It has John's signature on it ( SUPPOSEDLY!) but you can't make it all out!

OK Hazzardites, right now I'm watching Robot P Coltrane and will be watching TDOH all night! I've also cracked open a can of adult beverages....MWBI ( Milwaukee's Best Ice) and I'm looking forward to tonight and tomorrow. My wife is on vacation so I can sleep late ( I take her to work. She doesn't drive) SOOOO I'm doing some serious relaxing/partying tonight and tomorrow! You guys come on in and meet me at the Boar's Nest!

This is an excellent club......but you boys better remember.....they have a dollar cover charge to keep out the Riff Raff!! ( I never DID see anybody collecting the cover charge money! LOL !! )
