  2. I posted another song by Bell X1 in the One Word Song Titles thread recently, but I heard this one today and it has too many words in the title for that thread. I known and liked it for a while, but never knew what it was about. According to the band, they used to see a man in his late-50s sleeping rough in Dublin. One day he had a female companion, and they invented this backstory for him. Bell X1 - Rocky Took A Lover Here's when they performed it live on Letterman in 2008.

    One Word Song Titles

I'll try to keep up the Irish songs until St Patrick's Day, but not all of the great artists make songs with single word titles. Here's a great song about resilience and unsung heroes. It seems to have been an inspiration to a lot of the commenters on YouTube. Lead singer Danny O'Donoghue also spent some time as a judge/coach on 'The Voice UK' alongside Jessie J, will.i.am and Tom Jones. When you've been fighting for it all your life You've been struggling to make things right That's how a superhero learns to fly Every day, every hour, turn the pain into power The Script - Superheroes I'm now going to break the one word rule because I wanted to post a second song by The Script as we used to sing it in the choir. This one is about a man waiting for a girl to return to the corner where he first saw her. Paradoxically, given the title, I find it rather moving! Going back to the corner where I first saw you Gonna camp in my sleeping bag, I'm not gonna move Got some words on cardboard, got your picture in my hand Saying, "If you see this girl, can you tell her where I am?" Some try to hand me money, they don't understand I'm not broke, I'm just a broken hearted man I know it makes no sense but what else can I do How can I move on when I'm still in love with you The Script - The Man Who Can’t Be Moved

  22. Did you know those paintings in the Season 6 episode Dead and Alive for guest star James Cavan (Artie Bender) the Hazzard County artist were actually done by James Best (Rosco)?
  23. This is also very funny from CMT Inside Fame The Dukes of Hazzard. Balladeer (Talking about James Best (Rosco's artwork.):"Who knew Rosco could paint anything but the side of a barn." πŸ˜‚
  24. This is very funny in CMT Inside Fame The Dukes of Hazzard. Balladeer:"When it came time fer Ben Jones to audition fer Cooter, all he had to do was roll outta bed." πŸ˜‚
  25. Before bad guy called Sheriff Little to get help catching Bo and Luke, his buddy told him "Get the police channel on the CB. Maybe we can get that Sheriff to help us." Partner:"It sure feels funny callin' the cops." πŸ˜‚
  26. Funny scene from Season 6 Dead and Alive. Bad guy:"Callin' Chickasaw County Sheriff." Sheriff Little reaches for radio. Rosco:"Now just a minute Little! That there is my radio." πŸ˜‚ Sheriff Little:"An' that's my name he's a callin'." πŸ˜‚
