  2. Robert Morse also made a movie version of 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' in 1967. I mentioned how the title of his Dukes episode parodied the title of the movie when I posted a screengrab of Robert from his 1965 movie 'The Loved One' - you can see it here.

  10. Dukes Trivia: The Dukes recall the larcenous circumstances of the General Lee's purchase on the car's 8th birthday. True or False?
  11. Fun Fact: Season 6 How to Succeed in Hazzard was originally to be a Hughie Hogg episode. But Jeff Altman was not available for it. So they brought in Robert Morse (Dewey Hogg) who in the storyline was Hughie's brother. Trivia: The episode's title How to Succeed in Hazzard is a play on words of Morse's successful stage play How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
  12. Season 6 How to Succeed in Hazzard. (Luke & Daisy are in General Lee chasing Dewey Hogg's ambulance.) Ambulance Driver:"Them Dukes are following us!" (Dewey Hogg flips a switch on in the back of the ambulance where he's riding at. It activates an oil slick.) Waylon Jennings:"It looks like ol' Dewey's emergency vehicle is prepared fer any emergency. Including the Dukes." Daisy:"Luke! That's oil!" Luke:"Hang on sweetheart! We're goin' fer a ride!"
  13. Season 4 Hughie Hogg Strikes Again They're chasing Hughie Hogg in his motorhome. (Hughie pushes a green button on the dashboard and drops glass on the road.) Luke:"You better slow down. We're gonna have to take the chance to lose him."(On the CB to Hughie.)"Ok Hughie, you can pull over. Yer little trick didn't work." Hughie(On CB to Luke.)"Yeah? Well, maybe this will! Ha ha!" (Pushes the red button. An oil slick dumps on the road.) Bo:"Oh come on!" Luke:"Keep it straight!" Bo:"I'm turning, it's turning!"
  14. Rosco's siren goes on. Luke:"Bo. He's pullin' us." Bo:"Awe shoot. Now we'll be late for the grand opening of the park. It opens in 5 minutes. No way we'll make it on time now. I'm gonna run away." Luke:"No. You'll pull over like Uncle Jesse said. Let him handle it Bo." Bo:"Ok." Gives in reluctantly on Luke's advice. Daisy:"It's all yours Uncle Jesse. Do your magic." Cue Roger Duke, or Garrett Duke
  15. Uncle Jesse and Daisy were following behind in Dixie. Jesse saw what was going on and got on the CB. "Now boys, you have two witnesses back here that you weren't speeding. Now, don't git any ideas and take off. If his lights go on just pull on over and I'll take care of 'ol Rosco."
  16. Okay but it has to have wheels. You pulling it with something? That's 3. If other people don't enter we should enter them anyways and then to punish them for not participating we'll just give them flat tires early in the race!

  18. I forgot to mention this yesterday. The day before yesterday Richard and Kyle Petty were in town on a charity tour on the way to Niagara Falls. They were only a mile from my step-daughter's house. I had no idea they were coming here and didn't find out until after they were gone and saw it on the local news.
