  1. Past hour
  2. Dukes is the only show that I have cared about since it came out. Others I liked a lot were Charlie's Angels, A-Team, Stingray and Dallas. Stingray is my second favorite show but few people have even heard of it. Duck Dynasty is the only modern show I loved.
  3. I knew that but I thought Wales was the equivalent of Alaska or something....more like a state and not its own country. I also thought the same about Scotland.
  4. I was 16. This 250 celebration didn't seem as big but I'm sure 300 will be huge. I'll be hanging out in Hazzard Heaven then.....the only place better than the USA to live!
  5. That happens to me all the time. I always want to do things but so much else is always popping up. There is simply not enough time in the day....and week!
  6. Today
  7. They're racing at Chicagoland today. One of my favorite tracks... Here's some info I found on the race and last night's race (Xfinity race) . . . What to Watch: A mix of old, new and uncertain in racing’s revival at Chicagoland
  8. Dukes of Hazzard Blue Bloods CHiPs Starsky and Hutch Sandford and Son
  9. They went into a lot of detail for something that isn't real. Definitely wouldn't be near as good as the real deal, but at least they're putting some more spot light on the Dukes.
  10. I was 5, and I don't think it made it onto my radar being 3,000 miles away. I do remember dressing in red, white and blue a year later for Queen Elizabeth II's silver jubilee.
  11. I've been to that place with the long name. It's on Anglesey, an island on the north-west coast of Wales not far from where the Irish ferry docks. It's mentioned in the 10 fun facts link that I posted above, which also translates what the name means. It's generally shortened to Llanfair PG.
  12. It is! I have some Welsh ancestry. I will probably never learn Welsh. It sounds pretty hard.
  13. I was 3 that year! My two sisters and I all had red, white, and blue matching swimsuits that summer.
  14. Yesterday
  15. I remember the 200 birthday.....does anybody in here remember? ( I was 10)

  22. The General Lee is a really NICE car.

  26. For those of you not familiar with World Cups, all matches after the first round that end in a draw go to 30 minutes of extra time and then a penalty shoot-out if the scores are still level. This has happened a few times already, but I got to see my first of this World Cup last night and I'd forgotten just how tense they are. I wasn't even supporting either of the teams yesterday (I've watched England in many shoot-outs over the years), but the pressure on the players is immense. Five players take the spot kicks and the side with fewer goals goes home (they go on if they're still tied after five attempts).
