The toy store the peddler got Chucky from, and Karen got him from that guy for Andy's birthday, the store was struck by lightning after Charles Lee Ray transferred his soul into that doll. For the peddler to have wound up with that particular doll when the store was destroyed by lightning, is it possible the Chucky doll was the only doll that survived the chaos?
