A little late but same to you! I haven’t any had Canada Day plans the last few years but I was sick all weekend so there’s that.

I think this only affects earlier pressings, 2006-2008. Anything manufactured after 2008 should be fine. That said, I think Warner Bros has said they would replace them. https://nypost.com/2025/03/13/tech/your-old-dvds-are-suffering-disc-rot-warner-bros-will-replace-them/

If you can get a deal on a box set, go for it. I'm guessing that you're in the US, so maybe someone else here can tell you the best place to look. I think another member got a good deal a Walmart recently. I checked their website, and they're doing the complete TV series (7 seasons) for under $50 and the two TV movies for under $10. I don't live in the US, so I don't know if there are better deals and better retailers to use.

So I should go with the individual seasons ?

Mine are fine, but I bought them in the UK/Ireland, so the pressing may be different. I also ripped all of mine to a backup drive just in case. You may as well start with season 1, although it's the shortest wirh only has 13 episodes.

It has been years since I've seen the show and would like to get the dvds, but I'm worried because Dukes Of Hazzard is on the list of dvds affected by Warner Bros. disc rot. Does anyone know if this is true ? Which complete series set should I try for ?

One Armed BANDITS is my favorite episode!

I only had NBC my entire childhood so missed a lot of shows. When I was 19 and Dukes came out I would go to my grandparents to watch it. They could afford a nicer antenna and really tall pole for it.

Things really going downhill from here. Even Skipper has passed Roger. Looking like a fourth place finish. But wait! In the excitement of the competition Roger forgot about the back up nitrous oxide Cooter installed for moments just like this. He hits the toggle switch to turn the primary system off and hits another switch to turn the secondary system on. Once again g-forces push him back. He passes Skipper and is on the move...back into third place. A quick glance in the mirror shows Emma Tisdale closing in on Skipper. The front wheel of her dirt bike has been off the ground the last several miles. But she is starting to run low on nitrous oxide.
