* Cousin Hoss was talking about Fritters.....does anybody  know what a fritter is? It's fruit ( apple, cherry etc.)  wrapped inside a piece of dough, sprinkled in sugar. They can make them out of anything really but when Boss was talking about eating Corn Fritters, I thought it was a joke. I've spent every one of my 60 yrs. on this earth, in the south and NEVER heard of a CORN fritter. I thought they were, as they often do, on the show, poking fun of us and our way of life! But......HERE IT IS!! A CORN FRITTER!!

Chinese restaurants over here quite often offer fruit fritters (pineapple or maybe banana) as their only desserts. I've heard of corn fritters, but don't think I've ever eaten one.
