(I'll bring the little hammer. I doubt you'd trust me with a sledge hammer around your electronics). The offer still stands if you need me to come over and help you with technical repairs and updates. I just added a hacksaw, wire cutters and metric razor blade knife to my tool kit if you need me to bring that over to fix things. Quote
Meadowmufn Posted October 19, 2020 Author Report Posted October 19, 2020 Ok, the forum software has been updated. I had to redo the theme because the old theme was so out of date that it broke. If you see any issues with colors which makes it hard to read text, please comment here and be as specific as possible. I'll try to fix them if possible. Quote
HossC Posted October 19, 2020 Report Posted October 19, 2020 I think we could do with some sort of box around each post if that's possible. At the moment it's difficult to see where one post finishes and the next begins. The only other thing I've noticed so far is that the HNet banner only seems to go about 3/4 of the way across the screen. Everything else looks good. Thanks, MM. Quote
RogerDuke Posted October 19, 2020 Report Posted October 19, 2020 Thanks so much MM. The place looks fantastic! You are so awesome. Your love and devotion to the HazzardNet is greatly appreciated. Thanks to you as well Awesome Hossome. Quote

Yeah, those are the 2 things I haven't been able to figure out yet, but I'm working on it. Quote

Looks like you found them. I'm not a huge fan of change, but I really like the more prominent use of the mid-blue in various places. I also see we're back to circular avatars, but I don't even mind them this time around. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date, MM. Quote

Thanks for keeping us up-to-date, MM. I'm not a huge fan of change either and, believe me, I just about had a mini-coronary when I realized I'd have to do the theme from scratch. But, I think it turned out better (and easier) than last time. I like the mid-blue too. I wanted to break it up a little more than just orange and dark blue. RogerDuke 1 Quote
HossC Posted October 22, 2020 Report Posted October 22, 2020 I don't know if it's my imagination (or my age!), but the text in the navigation bars under the banner looks smaller since the update. The current size appears to be 13px - would it be possible to try 15px or 16px without screwing up something else? Quote

HossC Posted October 24, 2020 Report Posted October 24, 2020 I've just noticed that on the "Forums" tab, the "Images" sidebar is showing blue rectangles with a film strip icon instead of images. When I go to the "Gallery" section, many of the images are missing. Quote
Meadowmufn Posted December 8, 2021 Author Report Posted December 8, 2021 Just upgraded the forum software. As usual, if you see any issues, let me know. RogerDuke 1 Quote
Meadowmufn Posted February 4, 2022 Author Report Posted February 4, 2022 Sorry for the extended downtime. Due to price increases in some of the software I was using on the server, I had to migrate to a different server/software combo. Still working some kinks out, but I think the site should pretty much be up and running again. I took the opportunity to also update the forum software to the latest and greatest. RogerDuke 1 Quote
Hobie Hartkins Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 It all looks good from here Meadow! Thanks for all you do! There's a million reasons why we all love you and this is just one of them! RogerDuke and Meadowmufn 1 1 Quote

HossC Posted February 5, 2022 Report Posted February 5, 2022 Due to my home internet provider being slow to update its website address list, I only realized that HazzardNet was back online when I checked it on my phone (my computer was still showing the "Currently undergoing maintenance" screen). Everything's back to normal now, and MM's given me a workaround if it happens again - thanks, MM. RogerDuke and Hobie Hartkins 2 Quote

Meadowmufn Posted April 19, 2022 Author Report Posted April 19, 2022 I updated the forum software tonight. You know the drill. If you see any weirdness, let me know. I'm hoping this fixes some of the login issues some of you have been having. Hobie Hartkins, MonacoMan and RogerDuke 1 2 Quote

Meadowmufn Posted November 5, 2022 Author Report Posted November 5, 2022 Time for another software update. I'll probably be doing it late tonight PST time or Sunday. Quote
Meadowmufn Posted November 6, 2022 Author Report Posted November 6, 2022 Well, this is a dilemma. The upgrade requires PHP 8.0, but I have another software install elsewhere on the site that is not compatible with PHP 8.0. Therefore, upgrade has been delayed until I figure this out. Quote
