Bo countered back

* blushes. doesn't want to have a quarrel with Bo, but doesn't want Bo lies to him*

Sorry, Bo. I'm only asking you why you are here. You said you want to report something. Didn't you? What do you want to report?

*having to think on his feet, the other two excuses not having worked as they usually would have, he said quickly*

Luke's missin'...I dont know where he is...the reason I came in here was because I thought that he would be looking for anything that would help us save the farm but he's not...I've looked everywhere all day an' I can't find him...I'm real worried that he's gonna do something foolish...he got real upset when Jesse told us about the farm..."

*raises eyebrows*

What 'bout the farm?

"Boss and the government is taking it away from us..."

*says bitterly*

WHAT? How?

*shrugs a little*

I didn't understand it all, all I know is that's what I could understand. That's why i'm tryin' t'find Luke, one so he can explain t'me an two so that he can come back and take the stress off of Uncle Jesse of losing him too..."

*nods*

*blushes*

and... what 'bout Daisy? Is she worried, doesn't she?

"I don't know if Daisy knows yet...she's at the Boar's Nest workin'...if you could go out and find Luke it'd be great...but first stop off and see Daisy and see if she's ok...i'll watch things here till Rosco gets back..."

Bo said softly, looking upset.

*nods.Before leaving, looks at Bo*

If you want to look for something here, well, I won't say anything to Boss or Rosco. But if they find it out and they tell me to arrest you, you know I have no choice. Sorry.

*leaves*

*watches him go, sighing and shaking his head before going into Boss' office and looking through his drawers, smirking as he soon found the supposed 'official' government papers and all the plans for the race track underneath it. Takes the file and hides it in a plant pot by the door where no one would see it, before sitting at Enos' desk, waiting for Rosco to return*

Enos, where have you been? I thought I told you to stat here instead of talking to the Dukes?

"Uh Rosco...Enos ain't here..."

*says as Rosco walked into the court house, Rosco having obviously seen the General parked outside and assumed Enos was talking to him and Luke*

"He had to take care of some official police buisness so I agreed to watch this place for him until you got back..."

*Rosco looks at Bo*

"Bo Duke what are you doing here?I knew that the whole time, isn't that right Flash?

*Flash barks*

*sighs and rolls his eyes, getting up*

Rosco I done just told ya! I was coverin' fer Enos cause he had an emergancy and needed someone t'watch this place...i'll be goin now though."

"What emergency could Enos be tending to? I told him to say here. Is there any you need if not just leave.

*shakes his head, walking out the courthouse, grabbing the folder on the way out and sliding into the General with a grin, speeding back to the farmhouse*

*pouring himself some lemonade thoughtfully*

*soon pulls up outside, hurrying in with the file*

After hearing Bo drive up, Jesse walks in the house carrying a handful of horseradish roots that he dug up from behind the barn.

*looks up hearing them come in* Find anything?

"Yeah I found somethin' alright... Hey Uncle Jesse you gotta see this too!"

*says happily, putting the file on the table*

*sets horseradish on countertop and brushes hands on sides of overalls then sits down at table listening intensely*

*opens the folder, handing the official looking papers to Luke to look at before showing Jesse all the plans for what Boss wanted to build*

*looks over the official papers and whistles low* Holy smokes...
