February 9, 200818 yr Lavinia smiled just continuing to rock him.The fawn meanwhile stayed still under the blankets.
February 9, 200818 yr Author Bo laid against Lavinia's shoulder, sucking on his pacifier and looking around the room. He soon spotted the bundle of towels in the kitchen and his interest in it peaked. He started to babble a little around his pacifier.
February 9, 200818 yr "No no Bo...that fawn has enough troubles without you hangin' on it..." said Lavinia softly.
February 9, 200818 yr Author Bo continued to babble, trying to get over there despite the hold that Lavinia had on him.
February 9, 200818 yr "No honey...it's sick...it needs to sleep..." answered Lavinia, but standing up and walking over that way with Bo so he could at least look at it.
February 9, 200818 yr Author Bo quietened as the moved towards it, sitting up on Lavinia's hip and looking down at the thing cuddled inside the blanets with interest.
February 9, 200818 yr Lavinia just let him look at it, holding the little boy close.The fawn slept on, too weak to notice.
February 9, 200818 yr Author Bo soon tried to get down from his Aunt's arms to look closer at the stange thing.
February 9, 200818 yr Lavinia shook her head. "No Bo...you stay here with yer auntie..." she said firmly.
February 9, 200818 yr Author Bo bounced a little in her arms, starting to whine again as he strained to get down more, wanting to look closely at the strange thing that had appeared in their house.
February 9, 200818 yr "I'll sit down here with ya Bo...but you aint gettin any closer..." With that Lavinia sat with Bo in her arms a little ways away from the hurt fawn.
February 10, 200818 yr Author Bo sat in her lap, leaning forward a little and just looked quietly at the hurt animal.
February 10, 200818 yr Lavinia just let him look a while before finally standing up and getting some of Bo's toys out, laying him on a blanket on the floor to play quietly.
February 10, 200818 yr Author Bo sat himself up once he was laid down, picking up one of his toys and looking it over before taking his pacifier out and putting it in his mouth.
February 10, 200818 yr Lavinia just sat down taking up the mending which always seemed to be needing done, watching Bo play as she did it.
February 10, 200818 yr Author Bo then threw the toy across the floor, giggling a little before crawling over to it and picking it up again, doing the same again...seeming to find great delight in doing this.
February 10, 200818 yr Author Bo however didn't take any notice, continuing to just throw the toy around, crawling after it and picking it up, then throwing it again.
February 10, 200818 yr It only took a throw or two of the toy to wake Luke from his nap. After which he rushed over to the fawn. "Didja miss me?"
February 10, 200818 yr Author Jesse looked up as Luke came running in, catching him before he could get to the fawn and picking him back up, carrying him back to his room.
