"I dont know what we'd do without em...what any of the girls in Hazzard would do without em either..."

Daisy said with a chuckle.

"They'd be a might bored I expect" said Jesse chuckling a little.

Daisy nodded softly

"That they might..."

At that moment Luke stirred in his sleep moaning as he did, his eyes still shut tight.

At the moan, Bo jerked awake. Usually he was a deep sleeper but when he knew that Luke was having nightmares, he slept lighter than usual...partly because he had to be cautuious about what could happen to himself. Looking over at Luke sleepily, he nudged him softly.

"Luke..."

*mutters something, his hand clinging to Bo*

"Luke...wake up..."

Bo said a little louder and closer to his ear.

Jesse frowned deeply. " Bo...you be careful now...don't startle him."

Luke awoke with a jerk, his eyes opened wide.

Bo sat up and looked at Luke

"You with me cuz?"

Luke just stared back at him a moment, not answering.

Jesse looked at him too. "Bo...you come away from him."

Bo shook his head softly, reaching out and gently runs a hand through Luke's dark curls.

Luke blinked his eyes slowly, realizing where he was at the gentle touch of his cousin.

Bo smiled and kept doing it slowly and carefully.

"See...there he is..."

Luke swallowed, self conscious of the many eyes on him looks to Bo with the same question he always had after a bad dream. "Did I...?"

Bo shook his head with a smile as he sank back and closed his eyes agian.

"Nope..."

Luke nodded a little. He knew, of course, that had he done anything Bo wouldn't tell him anyway, but still, he could usually fool himself into believing it was true. With that in mind he resumed using Bo for a pillow.

Daisy bit her lip, shuddering softly at the reasoning she knew behind the question Luke always asked if he woke up from a nightmare. At the point that she had found out with Jesse and Luke what had been happening, she had never been more angry at her little cousin...but at the same time she couldn't help but be so proud of him for being so selfless...even if it had put his own life in such horrible danger.

*settles back to sleep against Bo*

Daisy soon leant against her Uncle, resting her head on his shoulder as they continued to watch the boys, soon starting to fall asleep herself.

Jesse just smiled, his arm around Daisy, watching over his sleeping kids.
