February 10, 200818 yr Luke petted the soft fur around its ears gently. "It's ok...I'll be right here..."
February 11, 200818 yr Author Bo squealed a little as he saw Luke come into the kitchen, crawling over to him as he burbled happily.
February 11, 200818 yr Luke smiled picking Bo up and setting him in his lap still soothing the deer with one hand. "Gotta be quiet Bo...she don' feel good."
February 11, 200818 yr Author Bo bounced a little in Luke's lap, pointing to the fawn and looking up at Luke...not knowing that Luke already knew about the little thing.
February 11, 200818 yr Luke nodded. "I know...an it's a baby...I's gotta look after it...it aint got no mama...an' its hurt..." he said importantly.
February 11, 200818 yr Author Bo of course didn't understand what Luke was saying but gathered from the way Luke was acting that it was important. Bouncing a little again, Bo leaned forward and gently rested his hand on the fawn's neck again as he had done before.
February 11, 200818 yr Luke watched protectively, not wanting Bo to accidentally hurt the fawn. "Easy Bo...s'a baby."
February 11, 200818 yr Author Bo's hand stayed where it was for a while before he pulled away and crawled out of Luke's lap again, pulling on his shirt for Luke to come play with him.
February 11, 200818 yr Luke hesitated, looking at the deer, but nodded. "Ok...so long as we's quiet."
February 11, 200818 yr Author Bo burbled as Luke started to follow him to the lounge, picking up one of his toys and throwing it.
February 11, 200818 yr "Guess we're playin' pick up huh?" asked Luke going to get the toy and bringing it back to Bo.
February 12, 200818 yr Author Bo laughed happily and clapped as Luke went and got it, taking it as Luke handed it back to him and throwing it again.
February 12, 200818 yr Luke just kept playing the game with Bo, but staying quiet ever watchful of the fawn.
February 12, 200818 yr Author Eventually Bo got bored and stopped throwing the toy, looking around and seeing something much more interesting on the couch to play with. Crawling over to it, he pulled himself up to his feet.
February 12, 200818 yr Luke bit his lip as he watched Bo pull himself up. He had never done that before.Lavinia too came from the room pulling Jesse with her pointing quietly.
February 12, 200818 yr Author Jesse smiled as he watched quietly, Bo reaching forward and grabbing a pillow, dragging it off the couch and sitting back down on the floor again with it.
February 12, 200818 yr Luke smiled big, taking brotherly pride in every accomplishment the youngest Duke made.
February 12, 200818 yr Author Bo babbled happily as he sat with the pillow, not realizing what he had done. Jesse smiled and headed over as Lavinia rushed forward, scooping Bo into her arms and laying kisses all over him which the youngest Duke delighted in getting.
February 12, 200818 yr Luke watched Bo revel in the attention a bit before he retreated to the fawn. "Bo ain't the only one gonna surprise everyone...they'll see..." he said softly.
February 12, 200818 yr Author Bo however soon noticed that Luke wasn't with him anymore, not used to Luke's attention being divided between him and something else, whining a little.
February 12, 200818 yr Lukebit his lip, before turning from the fawn and returning to Bo. "I'm here."
February 12, 200818 yr Author Bo whimpered and stretched out his arms to Luke, wanting his older cousin.
February 12, 200818 yr Luke sighed and came over to him. "Wha's matter Bo?" he asked kneeling down next to him and hugging him.
