Loraine watched Frank ride off Jesse coming from in behind the saloon,"I...Im fine Hank, thanks." Loraine knew Frank wanted to leave but she had t' wait til the time was right to put her plan in action.

Hank eyed her worriedly. "Thought you said that was a friend of yours..."

Loraine looked down and back outside,"He...uh...he is a friend...not a very close friend o' mine...but....uh friend.

Loraine wondered,"Is Hank catching on?"

She hoped not.

Hank frowned shaking his head. He couldn't understand why anyone would want a friend like that, but, he reasoned that he might be reading into things. After all, if Loraine called him a friend, he reasoned he couldn't be all bad. Maybe he had just had too much to drink. "If you say so."

Loraine looked down at the ground and then to Hank and smiled,"Yea, ya wanna drink one fore we head out? we're here anyways and Hes done got me a little riled."

Hank was anxious to check on his Fly. But he supposed a drink wouldn't hurt none. "Sure thing...what'll ya have?"

"Champagne..." put in Dixie with a smile.

"If I'm buying you get beer," said Hank with a smirk.

Loraine chuckled and looked to Hank,"A beer'd be fine, I iant use to no champagne anyways."

Loraine looked down and back out the window to see were Frank had run off to.

Hank nodded and went to the bar to order the drinks.

Loraine looked at Dixie and had a puzzled look on her face,"So, uhh Dixie, did Frank say anywhere abouts as to were he was headed when he was in here?, maybe ...ahhh.....talkin bout one o' his buddies Jesse?"

Loraine needed to know were Frank was headed so when the Dukes wen tot bed she could sneak out and go find him.

Dixie looked to her. "Well he offered to show me his room in the Sleepy City Hotel across the street...didn't take too kindly when I told him where I'd rather have him go...."

Loraine chuckled and said,"Ok, just wonderin."

Loraine walked over to were Hank was a put her hand on his arm, giving him a charming smile, slowly sipping the beer he had bought for her down slowly.

"Thank ya."

Hank smiled at her as he leaned on the bar. "You're welcome."

Loraine looked outside as it grew dark,"Well Hank, I reckon we bes be headin back, check on Fly fore it get stoo late in the night."

Loraine straightened up and smoothed her ruffled dress out.

Hank swallowed down the last drop of his beer before nodding and holding out his hand to take hers. "See ya at home Dixie," he called out before leading her out.

Loraine took his hand and followed him out, noting Frank giving her the signal to meet him there in his room to talk about the plan. Loraine nodded and walked over to Trigger, "Alrigth boy, lets give Hank the ride of his life"

Loraine said hopping onand smiling to Hank.

Hank hopped on after her and took hold of her waist.

Loraine picked up the reins and "ya" Trigger, Trigger rearing up and galloping off, she raised up a tad to let trigger get a little more speed, still letting Hank keep hold to her waist, they came upon a log and Loraine smiled she turned to look to Hank,"Hang on Darlin," as they bounded over the log.

Hank hung on as they jumped the log effortlessly.

Loraine looked up into the evening sky, turning from a purple-pink to a black, she saw the evening star and smiled,"Sure is beautiful tonight." She turned her attention back towards the front to focus harder on the roads ahead.

Hank smiled and nodded, stealing a kiss. "Sure is."

Loraine kissed him back, laughing softly to him.

As they arrived at the farm Loraine could see the soft glow of the oil lamp flickering in the window. She slwoed Trigger down to a trot and stopped at the barn doors looking in seeing Fly looking to hank.

Fly whinyed gently as she saw Hank, feeling a little sorry for herself as she refused to put any weight on her back foot.

Luke jumped off of Trigger and after helping Loraine down hurried over to his horse. "Aw what's a matter darlin?" he asked Fly. "Lemme see that pretty hoof of yers."

Fly, seeing Lorraine, quickly backed away snorting and stamping her front feet on the ground.

"Now Fly...don't be jealous....yer still my favorite girl," he laughed with a wink to Loraine.
