Boss stood up. "None of your buiness!"

"It is too my buisness! I was the one that got arrsted for it!" Bo shouted.

"It in't your business," said Boss pushing him away with his size, "now you get in that cell... I don't know where that pea brain Rosco is but I can arrest you just as easily as he can..."said Boss as he shoved him in and slammed the door shut.

Bo put the toe of his boot in the door so that the door bounced a little, yanking his hand out of his pocket and screaming in pain, falling to the floor on his knees, cradling it.

Boss jumped back at his scram and frowns. "What are you howlin about?"

Luke heard his scream and came rushing in. "Bo!" he tore open the door and knelt beside him in concern. "Bo what is it ...talk to me..."

Bo gasped and panted in pain, making tears appear in his eyes as he squeezed his hand to make it hurt a little more and make it redder.

"Hand....hand....Boss...trapped...my hand in...the door...he slammed....slammed it..."

"Good god Boss!" yelled Luke taking his hand gently. "Lemme look Bo...lemme look at it..."

"I didn't....he...he musta been tryin to escape!"

Bo shook his head, trying to keep it away from him .

"No...No leave it..."

Luke carefully took his hand. "I think ya broke it Boss...look how swollen it is!"

"I did not!" yelled Boss. "He swung at me...yeah yeah that's right...he swung at me and I closed the door....fearin' for my life," he said with conviction.

Bo looked to his hand then looked up at Boss, jaw clenched through his fears as he said through gritted teeth.

"I'm gonna sue you....I'm gonna sue you for evey penny you got..."

"Sue me?!" asked Boss flustered.

Luke nodded. "He'll win too...with evidence like this...an' everyone in Hazzard knows how youre always after us... I'd be surprised if youre left with one red cent."

Bo shook his head.

"You crushed my hand! How'm I gonna work on the farm now! How am I gonna win races to support Uncle Jesse?! How am I ever gonna drive again?!"

He yelled, tears streaking in a very convincing act.

"Your gonna pay for this Boss! You done pushed us too far this time!"

Boss gulped. "I-Im sure we can make an arrangement...of some sort.."

"Dang right we'll make an arrangement," stated Luke still fussing over Bo' hand in show but really worried despite the ruse. "I think biweekly payments would be a nicearrangement...what do you think Bo?"

What?!" gasped Boss.

Bo nodded, swallowing hard.

"Yeah...yeah that sounds great....Luke help me over to Judge Druton's woul ya..."

"Right," answered Luke starting to help him up.

"Wait!Wait! Let's settle out of court!"

Bo looked to him, scowling.

"Why? So you can swindle us again? So you can weasle out of payments as soon as you want to...I don't think so Boss.."

"Yes...I mean no! no, no, no, no, no....I mean...let's make a deal!!"

Bo scowled in disgust and shook his head.

"Why would I make a deal with you?! All you do is go back on yer word! If we go to Judge Druton we got legal promise that you will stick to your word..."

"Because...I...I can drop charges against your friend!"

"Friend? You mean Lori....now how on earth would you know Lori's in town Boss...and what charges are you talkin' about..."

Bo stepped towards him, still acting hurt as he cradled his hand.

"Well see she did a big no no...caught runnin some shine...but uh...I'll be willin to drop the charges...if ya promise not to sue..."

Bo laughed humourlessly and shook his head

"Caught runnin' shine?! Boss she was never caught runnin' shine otherwise federal police would be chasin' her from now till the end o'time...you made it all up didn't ya!"

He said, knowing Luke had the tape recorder in his pocket.

"Maybe I did...but you got no proof..." claimed Boss with a laugh.

Luke smirked.

"Oh we do now...who's gonna believe your word over mine...I know Judge Druton ain't....bye Boss..."

Bo said with a smirk as he turned back to leave.

"Wait wait wait! There must be something I can do...."

Luke winked at Bo.
