RogerDuke
I'll give it another 24 hours to see if anybody agrees with you before I reveal the answer.
RogerDuke
Sorry B.L. but he impersonated Clark Gable. Clark is related to me. In fact, his mother is buried 10 miles from me. He was known as The King of movies but I didn't inherit much of that royal blood. Although I am called a Joker on occasion. In Hot Rod magazine they spelled Rosco with an e. Which episode spelled it wrong as well, with a big ROSCOE sign?
HossC
Sorry about the last question Roger - I went away to think about it, and forgot to come back . I still don't remember the scene even with the answer in front of me.I think I'm on safer ground here - I think they misspelt Rosco(e)'s name on a banner at the end of 'One Armed Bandits'. Brian Coltrane
I agree with both B.L. and Hoss. (on an aside, it would figure that when poor ol' Rosco gets thrown a party, they spell his name wrong. Heh!)
RogerDuke
Hoss, B.L. and Brian got it right. I'm pretty certain that's the only place they mispeled Rosco's name (little pun there....I mispelled mispeled) I think I'll start a club for us folks who have trouble spelling. Our call to action will be: Bad Spellers of the World Untie
HossC
(little pun there....I mispelled mispeled) I think I'll start a club for us folks who have trouble spelling.Roger, you misspelled "misspelled" (or even misspelt as I'm English) - it's double 's' and double 'l' - I think you'd better start that club
RogerDuke
LOL Oh, it's two s's. I didn't do that on purpose. Now that's funnie.
RogerDuke
Fill in the blank from the 1981 Dukes of Hazzard Soundtrack. Rosco is singing a song about his beloved pet. "That old Flash, he ain't too good at chasin' them (blank) through the woods. He never does a thing he should. He just sleeps and eats his food." Brian Coltrane
Now that's a tough one! Dang, I never thought of asking questions off the sountrack album/CD. My first guess is "rabbits" but I don't think that's right. I haven't heard that song in ages, but I got a copy of the soundtrack around here...somewhere! RogerDuke
The good folks of Hazzard saved the best for last. MaryAnne had the right answer with possums. Hi waikiki. I was in your home state last weekend. Back to the trivia. Let's go with another one where you have to guess the animal. Fill in the blank. When Bubba punched Luke in the eye on "Find Loretta Lynn" Jesse mixed up Grandma Duke's recipe of boiled hickory leaves, smashed toad liver and a scoop of (blank) grease as a salve to make it feel better.....although Luke didn't hold it on the injury long enough to help. We'll make it multiple choice since it's tough. A) Gator Wild Boar C) Bear
waikiki23
I actually know this one!! Its c, bear.
HossC
I'm sure I wrote this down when I was asking the questions, but never asked it. I'm going to agree with waikiki and say c) Bear.
B.L. Davenport
I'm going to agree with the other two answers and say c) Bear.
RogerDuke
Waikiki, Hoss and BL got that one right. It was bear grease. All this talk of critters is making me hungry but I'll ask a third and final animal question before moving on. I think I might have asked this one a few years ago but I'm not positive. At the theme song at the beginning of each episode we see Enos smiling and holding up cards. What animal did he mention in that scene?

RogerDuke
MaryAnne got that one right. What did Shorty Shank have? A) a bald head a broken leg C) a race horseD) an airplane E) oil wells F) a lumber yard G) ESP H) ESPN I) all of the above
waikiki23
I'm gonna guess e, oil wells.
RogerDuke
I'm glad you didn't fall for "all of the above" waikiki. Actually they never did show Shorty so we'll never know if he was bald or anything else....But we do know that he owned a couple oil wells before they got destroyed. Hey, I'm off to post a Duke or Dupe. I wonder how long it's been since we've had one.
