B.L. Davenport
Cooter's daughter Nancy Lou
HossC
I toyed with the idea of Jud Kane, but I think BL is right with Nancy Lou.
MaryAnne
I also agree that it's Nancy Lou.
RogerDuke
B.L., Hoss and MaryAnne got it right. I tried to trick everybody by having the answer be "A" twice in a row but nobody fell for it.
RogerDuke
Sorry about the disruption in the trivia thread. Go up to General Discussion...."computer vacation" for an explanation. Anybody is allowed to post questions here. This thread was never intended to be something that only one person at a time asked questions so fire away. Brian Coltrane
Awright, here's a question for ya'll. In what episode does Daisy haul off and slap Bo in the face?a) Birds Gotta Fly Daisy's Shotgun Weddingc) Undercover Dukesd) Duke vs. Duke
B.L. Davenport
C) Undercover Dukes
Brian Coltrane
B.L. Davenport, you are correct! For anyone interested in the scene, here's a clip (poor quality but watchable):Daisy slaps BoLet's try a new question. In the episode "Mason Dixon's Girls", what are the names of Mason's associates?a) Pam and Trixie Jan and Sparkyc) Sue and Crystald) Sam and Tinker
HossC
I wasn't sure of the last one until BL answered it. This one I am pretty sure of - I'm going for d) Sam and Tinker.
B.L. Davenport
I'm pretty sure myself so I am going to agree with Hoss
Brian Coltrane
You guys are too good! Let's see if I can stump you with this one:There is only one episode where Daisy is absent. Which episode was it?a) Shine On Hazzard Moon To Catch a Dukec) Coy Meets Girld) A Boy's Best Friend
B.L. Davenport
By process of elimination and sketchy memories of her in the other episodes I am going to guess To Catch a Duke.
HossC
I used a similar method to BL. I remember Daisy definitely being in two of the episodes, so I was down to 50:50. 'To Catch a Duke' was one of the ones I had left and BL's usually right, so I'll agree.
MaryAnne
I also agree - To Catch a DukeI remember because it's another waitress that refuses to serve Rosco at the Boar's Nest on Boss's orders. LOL
Brian Coltrane
You're right again! This is a tough crowd to stump, I'll tell ya. Awright, let's try this one! And to make it a little more challenging, I'm not giving a multiple choice selection to go with it. How many episodes included appearances by Boss's shady nephew, Hughie Hogg?
B.L. Davenport
5 episodes
HossC
I think BL's right again, so I'll agree. I would've said 4 if you'd asked last week, because I had forgotten he was in 'Arrest Jesse Duke' until I saw it again a few days ago. Brian Coltrane
I'm gonna give this one more night to see if anybody else chimes in...answer to be posted in several more hours! ( I gotta sleep sometime. LOL.)
Brian Coltrane
Close! I actually stumped ya'll on this one. There were actually six episodes with Hughie Hogg:Arrest Jesse DukeUncle BossThe Return of Hughie HoggHughie Hogg Strikes AgainThe Revenge of Hughie HoggWhen You Wish Upon a HoggThe hard-to-remember one might have been "The Revenge of Hughie Hogg" which was an episode with Coy & Vance. Awright! Now that I'm on a hot streak (one in a row!!) I'm gonna try another question for ya:How many episodes did Sheriff "Big Ed" Little appear in?
RogerDuke
Oh no, that's a toughie. I bet most people would pick too high of a number. I don't think it was as many as I would have originally guessed if I wouldn't have taken a little more time to think about it. I don't even think he showed up until season three. I'll guess 7 but I could be way off.
B.L. Davenport
I am going to take a chance on a higher number and say
MaryAnne
I think it was closer to 10 too. There's a couple of episodes where he only shows up briefly or a few brief times... I'm guessing my cousin is countin' those too. LOL
HossC
The hard-to-remember one might have been "The Revenge of Hughie Hogg" which was an episode with Coy & Vance.I actually forgot 'Hughie Hogg Strikes Again' - another one with Hughie's name in the title .For this question I've been thinking 9 or 10. Since MA has taken 10, I'll try 9.
Brian Coltrane
You all had good guesses, this one was tough! Would you believe Sheriff Little appeared in 12 episodes? He was introduced in Season Three and and last appeared in Season Seven. Here are the eps, more or less in order:My Son, Bo HoggDouble DukesColtrane vs. Duke10 Million Dollar SheriffMiss Tri-CountiesShare & Share AlikeCletus Falls in LoveShine on Hazzard MoonTreasure of Soggy MarshBoars Nest BearsDead and AliveSittin' Dukes Over the years, the reruns on TNN and CMT may have cut or truncated some of the Sheriff Little scenes. I remember when I got the DVD sets, I saw Sheriff Little scenes I'd never seen before, or had forgotten about. (such as when he writes his young daughter a traffic ticket - and she was on her tricycle!) On an internal Dukes fandom note, I've often wondered why Don Pedro Colley, who played Sheriff Little, has not been to any DukesFests or other similar events in recent years. I've met Don Pedro a few times and he really enjoys meeting Dukes fans; I'm hoping he's well. Haven't heard anything about him for awhile. Anyhow - I pulled two stumpers there in a row, so I'm thinking I should give somebody else a chance to ask a trivia question. Anyone else want to go for it?
