It's kind of like a slang? I don't know how to explain it but the way I understand is that its just an exaggerated version

Are you sure he's talking about Bo Duke Skipper? I'm doubtful but maybe he was.

I interpret it that way. My brain goes to that Bo. The show one is the only Bo I know.

I don't listen to country music ( although I used to sing and play it)  but I heard some song and I would appreciate some help.....it mentions sliding like Bo Duke across the hood of a car!

I think my brain skipped that because I came to the thread that day to mention the Katy Perry song, and saw that you'd already named that in the same post. At least I gave you credit for the original mention.

I think I just got good and covering up my lapses. It's definitely not the first.

It's an " Urbanized "  version of " Girls"

I know it's probably a bit different since instead of mentioning the Dukes it was actually made for the TV movie from 2007 (I know) but the song Duke Boys Swingin' with John Anderson and Cowboy Troy is a really good song. Cowboy Troy's bit actually describes the show perfectly.

I'll have to ask my wife about that. She's into country music!   ( by the way, I like your emoji Road Pirate!)

My name is from the character on the show ( he was in 2-3 episodes)  and he was the town drunk. I got his name because I like to drink but I'm not an alcoholic ( about 3 beers at one time......I know....I'm a hard core bad boy!! LOL! ....also because he's funny.  Have you ever seen Hobie Hartkins?

Good catch thank you! My favorite episode for the nostalgia alone. I watched the VHS tape of it so many times growing up I would see the quality get worst each time near the end until it finally snapped

Do you have another copy  now? I always thought  Road Pirates seemed to be the longest episode. They're all the same length but I guess the way they set the scenes up, made it seem to be longer!
