I believe I will, nice to find a hazzard homecoming on the net, grew up on the DVDs, used to watch em with my dad. He's gone now, but the memories live on. I’m hoping someday to build a General Lee replica, I always told him I was gonna. RogerDuke and Hobie Hartkins 1 1 Quote

I never had a son but would have loved to watch Dukes with him if I would have had one. You were lucky to have him and he was lucky to have you. I admire and respect him for passing the Hazzard tradition down to you. He didn't name you after Tom Wopat did he? Hope I'm not getting too personal. Hobie Hartkins 1 Quote

He used to take me to cruisin' 50's night in high school and when I was little we went to the Harrah's Auto Museum in Sparks, NV on vacation. That was a treat. Dad had dementia for his last years, but my brother and I managed to get him to the Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance and the Petersen Automotive Museum a few years ago. We had a blast, made some great memories, and took lots of photos. RogerDuke and Tom Duke 2 Quote

Hi Roger, I was very blessed to have him, and I hope I do him proud. He definitely passed the tradition on to me, and I hope someday I’m blessed enough to do the same, should I be blessed with fatherhood. You’re not too personal, don’t worry. Actually my name is Thomas, but I shorten it to Tom these days. When I signed up here and thought of a username, I figure Tom Duke has a nice ring to it. Never realized about the parallel with Tom Wopat, kinda cool as he’s my favourite of the Duke Boys. RogerDuke 1 Quote

My dad and I went to a few local car shows in our time too, he liked his cars but he really loved art. He was a painter, he did those paint by numbers kits, and managed to do 50 of em. He gave a lot of em away a few years ago, but the handful he kept are now proudly hanging on my walls. RogerDuke 1 Quote
