August 27, 20242 yr I don't do social media or keep up with celebrity gossip, but I'm surprised that no one has mentioned John Schneider getting re-married last month. As most of you know, John lost his third wife, Alicia Allain, to breast cancer in February 2023. He has now married Dee Dee Sorvino, the widow of 'Goodfellas' actor Paul Sorvino. You can read the LA Times article about their marriage here. I've just looked up Dee Dee's bio on IMDb - her birth name was Denessa Purvis Benkie, so maybe she's related to Rosco! I'm John's age.....7 days younger to be exact. Some guys my age just can't be alone long I guess...but some can. It's like they say: It takes all kinds to make a world.

I'm with you on this one Phillip, although it usually does take widowers less time to recover than widows. ( Some of that long haired learnin' creeping in again! )

I've yet to get married, but if it were me I'd either take years or just never again. Schneider made videos with Alicia and one crying how hard it is, just to get remarried months later. Never mind the what the public thinks, Alicia is probably disappointed and saddened he already moved on.
